This is a great coffee shop for those who appreciate a chill atmosphere. The staff here are very welcoming, they make sure to make exactly what you want, and offer a number of different coffee and food options on their menu. This is more of a sit-in coffeehouse, where you can enjoy spending time with friends or family, learn about local opportunities and events, and maybe meet some new people in the process.

So far everyone that works there is very nice. I really enjoy the praise and worship music that plays there as well. Just wish they had gluten free pastries as well.

I had high hopes for Hidden Grounds but left disappointed.The kolaches and flavor of my pumpkin spice latte (basic, I know) were decent, but both hot beverages we ordered were, at best, lukewarm. The breve my partner ordered had little flavor besides that of milk.The store atmosphere was a tad too religious for our taste, as well. This was the result of worship music playing overhead, religious literature on the table(s), and an intense biblical discussion taking place between two customers in the corner. We, of course, remain aware that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs & opinions.The total for our two large coffees and two kolaches, including a $1 tip, came to approximately $17.We will likely stick with Tamp & Grind when in need of a coffee shop in the Alexandria/Pineville area, as Hidden Grounds just wasnt for us.

Great little place to get a cup of coffee ☕ or Expresso. Great iced coffee also. They serve lunch and have daily specials.

Just a hole in the wall coffee /tea place. Nothing special. No ambience or wow factor. The tea I got was terrible. Maybe the coffee is better.

Nice & truly hidden but easy to get to with Google Maps. Stopped during a motorcycle adventure with a buddy on a cold December morning. Atmosphere, coffee and treats were authentic. Owner was pulling shots and served up a nice corrado, great flavor, quality beans and good roast. The locals were friendly and talkative. Great, cozy place to spend a morning. This will be a regular stop on my north-south Louisiana trips. Cheers - Hidden Grounds, well done!

Cute find, but the coffee is way too much milk and way waaaay too sweet. I will try it again but maybe something simple... like an americano.I think it’s good place for someone that likes coffee without the taste of coffee. But so is most of Louisiana 🤷🏻‍♀️ If you don’t like your coffee too sweet, adjust accordingly.

It is such a relaxing atmosphere. The coffee and the food are excellent. In addition, the Baristas go out of their way to make sure that your order is to your satisfaction. You can go in there and meet with the group or sit at a table in the corner and play Words With Friends to your hearts content!

Coffee is alright, a bit underextracted. Atmosphere is what you would expect for a coffee shop a block from a college. If you are looking for a quiet place to study this is definitely not it.

The best chicken salad croissants EVER!!! Very laid back atmosphere. Havent tried the coffee yet so I cant speak to that.

So glad this place is in my neighborhood! Try the many different creative latte flavors they offer (so far my favorite is Butter Beer Latte). There is also light lunch fare and baked goods, such as chicken salad sandwiches on croissants. In season they offer personal size Mardi Gras king cakes in intriguing flavors such as Espresso. Its perfectly located across from both Louisiana College and Veterans Coin Laundry with ample parking so its a great little place to hang out when you have spare time. I might recommend better signage to attract passing motorists, but then it wouldnt be hidden any more. Definitely worth visiting when passing through downtown Pineville!

I have been here twice due to access issues at harlows bakery with my SD. The staff is always very friendly especially the guy working monday around lunch, a tall blonde man. (Daniel)I come in with my SD and they have always been very polite and given me no access issues. Good job on picking your employees and informing them on the ADA laws. I will frequent here more often and also let everyone in the SD community that this is deff an amazing place with friendly and knowledgeable staff.Amazing mochas btw at an amazing price and Ive had quite a few mochas from different places.
