I understand there is a pandemic going on and everything but I experienced the worst customer service from the employees at Walgreens on Military Hwy, I sat in line for a whole hour before I even made it to the window and when I did they proceeded to close the window in my face and pretended like they didn’t see me out there, one of the workers literally walked up to the window looked at me and kept going, I understand there is a pandemic going on for the second time but if they didn’t want to serve me that’s all they had to say! They’ve lost a very loyal customer and I will not be back!
There is not a single decent pharmacy around this entire parish. For some unspoken reason they all seem to think that its perfectly acceptable to take their sweet time and make customers wait over an hour and a half to pick up prescriptions all the while the can never get the insurance information right. I love our country!!😒😒
Garbage. Theyll announce your prescription and talk very loudly in front of other customers with their opinions about what youre prescribed. (Im referring to the old lady named Margret) The staff is so slow and have no desire to help you. Theyll keep you waiting around and then after 45 minutes tell you to come back tomorrow because they cant fill it today. Watched a lot of Walgreens start closing down up North hopefully they go completely under because they cant strive to hire and keep better staff. I recommend going absolutely anywhere other than this Walgreens.
Phone in pharmacy is not answered when I call. I have had to call three times in a row to get through to transfer my medication because they can’t figure out how to get my insurance information in the system. I have waited, each call, thirty to 45 minutes. Three callers or more are ahead of me. Once the countdown gets to me, the phone hangs up. Finally, my new pharmacy gets through to them and has the scripts transferred, they can’t fill it because Walgreens has filled it. This has been going on for two weeks. Now, I have to constantly call them or go wait in a very long line to tell them to cancel the refill so that the other pharmacy can now fill it. I’m not a complainer. I just don’t want to die because of incompetence.
The worst pharmacy I have ever done business with. No since of customer service. On hold for 25 minutes, finally the phone is answered and immediately the pharmacy hung up. Always a great waste of time. Wrong medication, not the one I called in. Just bad service and altitude. Should be able to give minus stars.
Absolutely horrible customer service and so unprofessional here.. my 1 year old was circumsized and I dropped off his prescription for the cream from his Dr. They tell me it wouldnt be ready till the next day. 6 pm the next day they tell me they dont even have a prescription for him in the system. Finally they find his prescription after 30 minutes of arguing with them and the lady at the window getting very rude with us. Then she tells me that it wont be ready for another 30 min and when I told her I really needed it due to my son being in pain she tells me that its not her problem.
I have been using this pharmacy for years and the last year or so it has been the worst service ever they are rude they dont know what theyre doing and they just dont care. I have filed a couple complaints, and nothing. Went in a couple weeks ago and was in a line for 40 mins, the rep was nice but she could not find my medicine for the longest time and when she did find my medicine the pharmacist decided to start closing the shutter while I was still sitting there checking out because it was lunch time. Ithought it was going to come down my purse. I know covid is making things bad but it does not account for rude behavior. I have called at least 5 times, been on hold for 30+ mins to always be hung up on.
Terrible service. Pharmacy has always been slow, but now its really bad. Takes 2 days to fill a simple, in-stock prescription. Yesterday a staff member actually lied about what was taking so long to fill my prescription. I understand this pandemic has brought on a lot of challenges for everyone, but this has become absolutely ridiculous. Time to transfer my prescriptions.
People working in the pharmacy is so RUDE. Drive thru is closed a lot so everyone has to go inside where people who are sick. They are extremely slow. They won’t give you a time on how long it will take to fill a prescription if you drop it off in the drive through. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
Whoever was working the drive-thru at 5pm Aug 7 does NOT deserve to be employed. Absolutely absurd to yell at a customer.
This is absolutely ridiculous. I made an appointment to get a covid test and I have been wasting gas for over 2 hours no lie just sitting here in the drive thru. I dont see people looking like they are busy trying to get stuff done I dont see anyone at all. What was the point of making the appointment if I was gonna wait here this long like I dont have anything else to do. I am furious. I came here just for precaution but now I feel like I shouldve just waited it out like Ive been doing.
The pharmacy is so slow! I had a script called in and i forgot to go pick it up. So i come in a week later and it still isnt filled. This pharmacy is terrible, cash regisiter lady didnt even know how to pronounce the medication. Its laughable at how horribly slow and incompetent the pharmacy staff is.
Terrible service long wait. Me and my family have COVID and need our meds. The drive through is closed so we’re forced to walk in with having COVID
The pharmacist was rude. They had 2 lines. One for drop off and the other for pickup. I was dropping off, he stated that their was only one line and I had to wait in the pick up line. How was I supposed to know that.
Horrible service in the pharmacy, was told meds were done on 3 separate occasions when they had not even begun to fill them. Appt at 10 and by 11 had not even been seen, had to leave. It goes on and on, go elsewhere.
The only reason I gave this place 1 star is because there wasnt an option to put less. First off the service is the worst, you will wait a minimum of an hour in line at the pharmacy then when you finally get to the window they have employees behind the counter that cant pronounce the prescriptions so they spell it. Not to mention Ive had a prescription sent here for 3 days now and they are telling me that it will be done tomorrow because they close at 6 today. Today is the last day I set foot in this establishment!
I waited in line for 45 minutes to take a Covid-19 test and never got my results!!!!
Drive thru closed. Go inside and have 13 people waiting in line. 1 cashier to help out in pharmacy. Just don’t make sense.
Pharmacist was an older man and he was extremely rude!! While I was talking he kept cutting me off and the store was a complete mess! Would not recommend for anyone to shop there!
The pharmacy use to be great but it has gone to the worst. Lines are so long its a shame...
Great service
😊
Will never get my business again. Tired of dealing with the rude pharmacy employees then hang up in your face. I will take my business else more friendlier.
The young lady that helped me early in the morning always has a positive attitude.
Love
I cannot think of 1 positive thing to say about this pharmacy. Prescriptions take days to refill, lines are always long, service is extremely slow, and information is incorrect. To top it off, they tend to mess up your insurance information, which then delays your prescription and takes a lot of time and patience to fix. Here is just 1 example of dealing with this pharmacy. After my childrens tamiflu prescriptions were sent here, I went by the pharmacy to see if they would be ready in 1 hour (like they advertise). No, they would be ready in 4 hours. I take my sick children home, then get a message that their prescriptions are delayed. I call and find out it is due to incorrect insurance information. They tell me they cannot fix it over the phone (although the message they sent said to CALL to correct insurance issues), but maybe the pharmacist can. After being on hold for 30 minutes, I gave up and decided to go back to the pharmacy to fix it (although I dont understand why they couldnt have said something/fixed it when I was there earlier). Once there, they still cannot fix it. They keep telling me it wont go through on their computer. I then just ask to get my prescription back so I can take it to another pharmacy, they tell me they cannot do that. I ask them to send it to another pharmacy, they tell me that is not how it works. Finally, the pharmacist comes over and fixes the insurance information in the computer and tells me the prescriptions should be ready in a couple hours. So, 1 phone call, 3 trips, 3 separate times waiting in long lines, and lots of time wasted... This is the norm when dealing with this pharmacy. I am in the process of changing our pharmacy with our physicians offices, and I hope to never have to deal with this one again. My advice, DO NOT GO HERE. If you are looking for a pharmacy, keep looking, this is not the one you want.
Was pretty fast on filling what I needed
The staff is wonderful both in the pharmacy and out on the retail floor and registers. However, they ALWAYS seem to be understaffed in the pharmacy. This Walgreens does so much business, but I know people who have changed to local family pharmacies because theres usually about a 20 minute wait in line to get to the window, and then hopefully the medicine is ready and they dont need to answer more questions, have insurance etc. It seems like although the employees they have are some of the best, the process of people just isnt enough to keep up with the number of people getting medicine filled and picked up. I was torn because women like Louise who always goes out of her way to help us deserve 6 or 7 stars, but Walgreens needs to know its losing customers strictly due to wait time. So often I hear people standing in line discussing switching to competitors because while 24 hours is convenient, most people would rather pick up during business hours and not have the wait.
Completely fed up with this Walgreens!! they can never get anything right! Always have to wait, always an insurence problem, the lady about a week ago lied through her teeth about not being able to call the insurance now we are having to wait again for a prescription that was put in way earlier today !!! Switching to Walmart they are cheaper and a lot more eager to help there customers !!! I’d give this no stars but it won’t let me
We have been using the pharmacy drive-thru for years but lately, more often than not, we have to wait for an extremely long time before we get to the window. Today it took me over an hour and there was only 5 cars in front of me. It took two cars over 30 minutes to get what they needed. I feel that people are not calling in their orders and just waiting at the window. This is not at all a fair policy. I always call mine in and once I get to the window it takes about 2 or 3 minutes.
The pharmacy is always slow. I can drop of a Rx and be told it would be 30 minutes before it is ready. Come back in that time, and the Rx is not even started. I have experienced that they had misplaced the order and it took an additional time to find the order I dropped off. Then 2 more hours to even get it filled, despite the fact I had dropped it off and it was not of any fault of mine to their mishap. If my insurance had no longer been accept at CVS, I would still be going there.
I stayed up to 1 am uploading over 400 pictures from vbs yesterday to have them printed for the kids today. We have only satellite internet and it takes forever! After driving 30 minutes, they tell me they aren’t ready. The pictures were suppose to be ready at 3:55 am. This is not the first time they have pulled something like this. I would give them 0 stars if I could! Go somewhere else for your pictures!!
It’s a terrible Walgreens. I dropped off my medicine after getting a root canal. Was notified it was ready on to come pick up one. Was then notified 2 days later that the antibiotic was ready I been in pain for the longest cause of them not having my prescription ready.
Clean store. Can usually find what I need or just something cute. Sometimes it is hard to find somebody to check you out tho 😕
The Pharmacist was one of the rudest most condescending people I have ever met. The wait for the medicine was one thing but to have a staff that doesnt seem to care that your time is just as valuable as theirs helped me make the decision to go elsewhere for anyFuture pharmacy needs.
The slowest pharmacy Ive ever been to. The drive thru is supposed to be quick hince the term drive thru but I sat here for 15 minutes at the pickup shoot in the second line with a line of cars behind me and the truck beside me both of us waiting for our prescriptions
I usually don’t go to the pharmacy there and once again they prove why. Dropped off prescriptions and left. Nearly home and called back because they couldn’t key in the insurance. (Now remember this while I am sick with respiratory infection). End result, I have TWO insurances which they can’t key in and want cash. Had prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy to be picked up following day. Staff could care less if you died in the store WASTE OF TIME
Pharmacy staff are snails. Ive paid via Express pickup and this Walgreens always has their Express line CLOSED. If you cant keep the Express line open...hire more staff. Im go to another phamacy. Dont waste your time at either Pineville locations for medicine.
Every time I get pictures or need help, theres no one around. I even called right after ordering my pictures and told them not to let the computer auto correct them. And they did it anyway. Very unhappy.... will be finding new place to print.
This store is clean. The staff is usually curteous. If you go during a slow time, they will fill quickly while you wait.
So I cant think of anything positive about this pharmacy. Dropped meds off was told they would be done in 1 1/2 hours come back over 2 hours later and they tell me I dont have anything here and then they find it and tell me can you drive around its taking a little longer lol ok so seriously over 2 hours later an I still have to wait longer I mean really what exactly takes so long to fill a prescription and its still not done now almost 3 hours later ugh I will be changing where I get my meds at...
Came to refill a monthly prescription and would not fill since it was a weekend and the doctors office was closed. Fill here every month. Since it’s Christmas, now we must wait an extra 3 days to fill. Thank goodness this is not a vital medication.
DO NOT EVER HAVE PRESCRIPTIONS SENT HERE. THEY ARE THE WORST. Unless you like waiting for 24hrs to get a prescription filled.
Store is always clean, in order, and they have nice and helpful employees. Its always a nice visit when I have to stop by.
Looking for a specific bandaging the doctor told us they had in stock. Even the pharmacist just shrugged. No help. No one cared. No customer service.
I dont know what has happened at Walgreens on Military hiway buy their service and personnel ar not what I would have working for me if I got all those negative comments, I do a fairly amount of prescriptions there and the latest was today 7-8-19 about 9:40 am. I had dropped off a prescription to be filled and when I got through with my errands I went inside to pick it up and was told that they were out and I asked this blonde woman if she would mind calling the Walgreens on hi way 28 east and she told me that she didnt have time to do this, well that didnt set well with me and I asked her for my prescription and she told me that it was in process and that I could wait until the medicine came in and I told her to get my script and finally she did, and I took it to Walmart and got it filled mind you now my copay was 211.50 on this. I have several scripts that run me 150.00 plus at times so I going to get new scripts for all my meds and take them to Walmart, and give my business to them, I have been at Walgreens for several years and will not go there for anything.
Rx service is absolutely horrible! Poor communication and complete idiots work here.
This Walgreens is horrible. I waited in line for over an hour for my prescription only for them to not have it ready after the pharmacist advised me over the phone that it was ready for pick up. This seems to happen all the time. There is no communication between staff and a lot of incompetence.
Me: hi, Im calling because I received a call that there was a problem with you filling my rx because of the insurance. I dont currently have insurance. Its selfpay.Tech: well, we tried putting it through and it declined on the insurance so....Me: well...like I said I dont have insurance right now so Im going to pay out of pocketTech: ...Me: sir? Are you there?Tech: the insurance keeps declining.Me: thats what Im trying to tell you. There is no insurance. Im paying out of pocket.Tech: uhm? Okay?Me: so, can you fill it?Tech: yes? This was the actual conversation I had today. This was after I had been trying to get a transfer for a cheaper price for two days!! I should have just paid the extra and not dealt with Walgreens. The ineptitude was very high in this place.
The pharmacists and staff act judgemental because I needed to pick up a controlled substance on the 30th day after having it filled. They told me three different times it would be ready and its the 32nd day at 3AM and Im still waiting to get a 30 day supply refilled. (If you make me wait 32 days and go into physical withdrawals then give me a 32 day supply: Youre treating us like cattle.) It is unethical for pharmacists charged with the care of patients to have policies that literally cause their loyal customers to suffer physical withdrawal every time we pick up a prescription. Some pharmacists at WAG are basically DEA minions with absolutely no authority or incentive to help patients because theyre so afraid of getting in trouble. Also, the staff doesnt seem to care whatsoever about the extreme inconvenience it causes the people who payed their salary until recently.. No wonder Walgreens has lost nearly 20% of its stock value just in the last 3 months since they employed this uncaring, irresponsible, and short-sighted policy. I see their perspective though, they believe and obey what the DEA tells them: That they can stem supply of illicit drugs by punishing their customers. **News flash: Most pills that can be purchased on the street are made in pill mills in China or in a pill press inside someones home which can have fentanyl or whatever special ingredients they want to add, not a Granny or regular guy selling one extra xanax or tramadol for $2 (give me a break!) Have they actually looked at the evidence or just believed the scary story law enforcement invents to keep themselves employed protecting people from themselves? The 31 day minimum policy harms only the customers of Walgreens which is why so many of us are leaving for a pharmacy we can trust to help us when we need it with something as important and personal as our medications, not just a bunch of robot pharmacists who bow down to the DEA so they can continue pretending to protect us from ourselves. The DEA meddles in average peoples lives but they are not actually helpful whatsoever. P.S. The DEA is a leach on society, a HUGE waste of taxes, and almost everyone knows it by now in 2019 but somehow they keep getting more funding (palm to face)...Walgreens, please come back to your senses and help your loyal customers as a buffer between us and the DEA who clearly has nothing better to do than ruin a working persons day for losing a controlled pill. When pill mills crank out the sheer volume they do, they should be the target if stemming the supply is your wild goose chase this month, not law-abiding customers who need their medicine. -Jonathan.
Walgreens pharmacy SUCKS! very poor service!
THE WORST PLACE TO GET PRESCRIPTIONS FILLED. This pharmacy is full of the most idiotic, incompetent people I have ever dealt with. I will NEVER do business with them again. You have to wait hours in line every time and there are ALWAYS issues with filling it. Every time I have to get the SAME BIRTH CONTROL I’VE BEEN GETTING FILLED FOR YEARS WITH THEM they tell me they have to talk to my doctor first. HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU NEED PERMISSION FROM MY DOCTOR TO GIVE ME MY NON-NARCOTIC MEDICINE?!? IT’S BIRTH CONTROL!!! I have switched all my info over to RAYS PHARMACY and they are awesome!! Friendly staff, always fill your meds with no problems and you don’t have to wait forever!!
Pharmacist there (a younger woman) is extremely rude. I stood in line, while she spoke to a friend about nothing, for 20-30 minutes and then got mad at me (for having an attitude about it) and refused to fill my prescription. They also put me down as a male before (my first name can go either way) and screwed my insurance all up. It took me weeks to get it straight. Some of the pharmacy staff is very nice- especially the older gentleman but majority of them are rude and very unprofessional. You will always have to wait in line because they never get in a rush and don’t care. Many times, staff has just been standing around while there are 10-15 people in line. Take your prescriptions and your money elsewhere, in my opinion.
I walked in, 2 people in seating area. I then stood at the rope, where the line begins, about 12ft away from counter. (nobody in line) Felt like a good distance to separate the customer from the staff. About 5-7min later, a young lady finally stopped running back & forth enough to stop at the counter and inquire as to what they could help me with. I gave her my script and was immediately asked for my ID. Before I was asked verbally to identify myself or asked whether I had filled there before. Wow. Talk about cold. I guess all of your locations are good about judging people who have tattoos. I was told it would be about 40 min. they were a little behind.. 40nin to fill a script while I wait. Well, that was an hour ago. Ive seen 3 people come in (after me), and get filled, checked out and have left. The great news is.. After you wait this long, apparently youre rewarded with getting BACK in line and waiting to be checked out.Now.. I just heard that their computers have just frozen up. You know, over an hour wait.. And having to drive 2 hrs to get home... This really is unacceptable. Believe it or not, I have a lot more to say but Im now going to go raise hell and try to gtfo. Its now 5:25. An hour and a half. I walked up to the counter, at 5:15 and was told by the tech it looks like a question about your insurance has stopped it. I said to be clear, Ive been sitting out here since 4:50 and I had to come ask about this in order to find out that you didnt check your network and get the information from another Walgreens, like I instructed to begin with, nor did you ask me if I wanted to just pay cash? She went to get the pharmacist, who proceeded to attempt to make it out like it was my fault because they didnt have all the info they needed. (this is what happens when you hire some yahoo with no management experience to run a department for you). So, after I said Id been sitting right here for an hour and 15 min, and he adopted a look of equal shock and ignorance, he went to START filling it.Its now 5:35. I can start my 2hr drive back home to Monroe now. Thanks WALGREENS!P. S. Never been carded twice at a place Ive already been to, thats networked together with similar pharmacies. Way to descriminate!
If the prices werent so good I wouldnt bother to go there. Didnt have my med which was ok since they said they would have it in in a couple of days but then they lost my script. Took two weeks to get it fixed and filled.
Very quick and efficient
I do not recommend using the pharmacy here. If you only need something in the store, you may be okay. The pharmacy staff is in no hurry to help customers. They are often standing around and joking with one another while sick customers (or customers with sick loved ones) wait in a long, slow-moving line. Today, when I pointed out that people were waiting for help while they stood and talked, one of the techs turned to another customer and said that she was supposed to go on break, but was there instead. If youre on break, go to the break room. If youre not, please do your job. You arent helping anyone by standing around and doing nothing while 6-7 people stand in line. And, smarting off to another customer is entirely inappropriate. In addition, the doctor told me to take a medication that is monitored, Mucinex D. When they scanned it, they said the system was down for those medications. So, after waiting to drop off, waiting to have my meds filled, and waiting for the staff to come to the register, I cant get part of my meds. I asked if there was a backup (thinking a number that could be called to verify, etc). . . Nope! If this is corporate policy, it really needs to be re-evaluated. Go somewhere that is interested in helping people, not here.
Worst customer service. The pharmacy is slow and there is no communication
Sitting at pharmacy right now after calling in script earlier today and, being told it would ready within the hour and giving my cell # and being told Id get a text that I NEVER got! Guess what they still dont have my script filled!!!! TriCare NEVER shouldve left CVS!
Piss poor management. Melissa is a joke.
They didnt carry a particular antibiotic which everyone usually carries for some reason none of there stores carry this medication on back stock
Great customer service!
Long line so many sick people its alright though nice prices
Dropped off scripts only to come pick them up 2 hours later to be told theyre OTC and that wed have to come in. Go inside and we are told that the only prescription they could fill was out of stock. Now why in the hell couldnt we be told this before. Such of waste of time.. Steer clear of this pharmacy.
The line is long no matter what time of day.
Good pharmacy
