This was my first time really dealing with the home Depot in many years. I have to say the ladies at the checkouts and customer service were very friendly and helpful. If I had any complaints it would be that theyre railing systems ought to have the parts packages listed on the kit that you need to purchase. We bought railing kits and it called for three different types of parts packets but it didnt tell you that on any of the kits. After three trips to home Depot we finally found the proper kits and finish the job.
Everyone was very nice and knew where all my items were that l was searching for.
I like the fact you can look on line to see if they have something in stock and where to find it in the store. But the indoor lumber yard is a bad idea for pressure treated lumber. They have to keep it so wet when they bring it inside it warps badly when you get it home. Even if you let it set to adjust to the climate. It always warps badly when it dries. I have the curved twisted fence posts to prove it.
Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Tony was very helpful assisting me in finding items I was looking for.
Sold me interior paint when I specifically asked for ext paint. Then told me I had to pay for more to fix it so then turned it in to there insurance company. Which is giving me even more of a runaround. Guess I will be eating a $1000.00. Thanks home Depot I can tell you have your customers back.. Im seeing Lowes in my future. Went there today to buy Milwaukee tools and saw a display for 2 batteries in a charger buy them and receive one of the tools for free. I asked 2 people if the tool I had was one of the tools that are on the display for free. Both people said yes even the cashier said its free. Then I to go to my job to do work I was looking at the receipt and saw where they charged me for that extra tool that was supposed to be for free. Called and asked the lady in customer service and she told me that this extra tool was not part of it, I think the lady at register should have told me that instead of saying it was. I think your employees should do a better job of informing your customers when they ask questions...
We needed some help and went to all three big box hardware stores and Home depot customers service is top notch
We go to Home Depot on a daily basis. Were in the business that we depend and need what Home Depot has to offer were very seldom disappointed they normal have everything we need. The people working are very helful.

Took our $300 battery to be fixed OVER 15 weeks ago. They said it would take up to 8 for it to be back. We called around week 10 and they told us they gave our battery to someone else. Here it is atleast week 15 and still no battery.
Bought bags of rocks / gravel, asked about flowers to place outside and the employees were kind and helpful. She took her time to walk and talk me thru all the different flowers and which ones would be best to come back every year. I love coming here

Not overly friendly service, but adequate. Until time to load material. 29 100lb items, 15 50lb bags of concrete. We had a young female,who tried to help and a 20 something male who sat on the tow motor majority of time. Didnt know how to drive it efficiently. Me and 65 year old buddy had to load everything by hand

We walked in, employees were standing around talking. Had to ask someone where flooring was. When we got to flooring, we looked around at the different types and then looked for a clerk because we had questions. There was one clerk and he was helping another customer who wanted to order an item from another dept. He did not know how to do it so called for help. He just looked at us two or three times. The person who came to help also looked at us but also never asked us if we needed help. We waited about 10 minutes then left and went to Lowes where our experience was very good. And we bought our flooring there.

The only bad thing I have to say about Home Depot is that a lot of their items cost a lot more then they do at Walmart. Went there to get some storage bins and and they were priced two to three times more expensive than Walmart.

The customer service for this store is awful. On 3 different occasions, we have had the worst service. This past experience took the cake. They had me on the phone for 56 minutes scheduling for a carpet install, made me pay up front and then called me back an hour later to say they do not service my area!!! I was told by 2 different employees that our address was within the service area??!!?? Now I have to wait a week or so to get my refund. BS!!!

Worst place to ever try to get help with home improvements. We have been calling twice a week for the last month to install a new front door. Do you think anyone will call us back? Not one call. Home Depot does not care about new business or customers. I’m sad to say it’s hard to support local business when they don’t need or want the community to go to their store.

Ordered a fridge and washer and dryer.Paid for set up.Left my fridge water line unhooked and fridge out in middle of floor because. it leaked. The leak was the remaining water in the line.Washer and dryer - they BROKE my hot water handle at the base! Had to turn off hot water completely with 5 kids in the home. Said they dont feel its their fault and we have to wait 72 hrs for a plumber. They wont pay for emergency plumber service. So in 20/30 degree weather, in active school year, with an infant. 7 household size. Its ok to wait 72 hrs for HOT water! How are we to shower, clean dishes, wash hands in a pandemic? Unacceptable!

I went in for a pot, and was amazed at the beautiful hanging arrangements and wall hanging (like a picture) arrangements. I needed a pot for a plant and heard they had String of Dolphin Succulents. I had the chance to speak to a wonderful young lady who seemed to know my obsession with succulents (having her own obsession as well). She gave me so much useful information and helped me get the pot I needed down, searching for one not cracked or blemished to much as well! She walked me out to find the String of Dolphins, helping me until we found a pretty healthy one and also helped me while picking out another I cant spell yet! I didnt get her name but I am so appreciative! Thank you Piqua, Ohio Home Depot Worker, I appreciate you today!

We waited over half an hour for help, no employees were in sight. Customer service said she didnt come in until 9am, 2 hours later. Even though signs said you could have online orders shipped to store, customer service said that could not be done.
The hunt for the elusive orange apron is still the #1 game in America & after a recent trip to Menards, the Home depot is now poised in a firm 3rd place behind Lowes. Good products, but finding anything small, or an additional gizmo to a larger product is the worst without customer service in the store. Home depot employees are the reigning hide and seek champions of home improvement.
Only had 1 problem but I figured out a solution pretty quickly. Not busy today at all.
I ordered a 30 gal air compressor online, headed to the store for pickup, and was greeted enthusiastically by young ladies at the pickup counter. It was a wonderful experience.
Went there to get some salt for the driveway and some paint and some materials to paint in the house the people are very pleasant the company was very nice to me it was just a pain to drive there for 2 hours there should be one closer to the home

The staff has no clue where almost anything is and good luck with renting anything. Consistently looking for an employee is routine and when you find one you usually get sent to the wrong isle. It is getting worse each time we visit.

DISABLED & VET TO BOOTWAY TO GO HOME DEPOI have spent many thousands of dollars at this store. NO MORE.Very sad to see how far down hill this place has become. Asked a employee where tha tv antana stuff was he just pointed in a general direction and walked off. His attitude was why are you bothering me. Finally found some tv cable. Went back to customer service to pay and leave. Was told by the young lady i had to go to the other end of the store to pay. I in informed her that i could not walk that far and i am disabled. She ignored me as she started joking with another employee. I was in a lot of Pain and left without what i had driven 20 miles for. There were no electric buggy available.
Wonderful sales associate The individual that associate that assisted me way underutilized. Needs a real sales position with a potential to be compensated with dollars, sky the limit.
