I love going to sunset meat market I usually say Im going to get a couple of things and I come out with $100 worth of stuff

I ended up doing business here while in the area on a deer hunt. In need of a processor, Sunset came highly recommended. Being from Tennessee and having harvested a large deer to provide a lot of meat for the freezer I was hopeful to get it processed and ready for my return trip as soon as possible. After making a call I was elated to find out they could have me ready to go within 24 hours. Folks, Ive been hunting 46 years and can tell you I have never used a processor anywhere that could offer that kind of turnaround. While picking up my frozen, well-packaged deer I decided to add some fresh sausage and turkey sausage to the cooler for the trip home. Ill be back and you can be assured Sunset will be my processor of choice in the future. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly as well!

Excellent meat choices

We split a half beef with our son. We ordered 90% lean hamburger. We received less than 70% lean. Called them and they told my husband that the meat was so lean it wasnt possible to make 90% lean. (This was a small cow so we knew it would be lean.) Ok, so why didnt we receive 100% lean hamburger? This is the biggest excuse and lie I have heard. Wish I could post a picture so you could see the hamburgers floating in the grease. I would never ever recommend using this place. If you arent satisfied with their service or quality then its too bad. You are stuck with their poor quality. I am extremely disappointed and will never use them again.

With covid 19 out there the people working and the giy cutting the meat wore no mask and no gloves. They took meat out of the case with there bare hands no gloves on. I think that is gross even ig we didnt have covid 19.A couple wore masks.

Staff great friendly. Meat bundles decent. However the sausage I just picked up smelled putrid. I did notice til I got home. Repackaged and froze everything immediately except 1lb of sausage. Attempted to cook with it and it was gross. Horrible taste. I think it was bad I just have been working too much to inform them. So dissapointed. I wont buy meat from there again.
