Wonderful wine and deli market with a variety of artisan and local products. This place is best of many liquor stores up and down Shell Beach area, and has best service, parking, and quality products. Fruit, chocolate, cheeses, essential snacks, and hearty deli salads etc. A+

When I order a HOT meatball sandwich, I want that meatball sandwich to be HOT, not barely tepid. One of your staff tried to pass off a very cold meatball sandwich as hot. When I took the order back to have him actually make this sandwich hot, he tried to give me a load of excuses. Then He proceeded with the old go through the motions routine pretending to heat it up and when we found it was still cold. I dont know if it was because your food heaters arent working or if maybe your staffer decided that even though My husband and I pay the same price as everyone else, were not worthy of anything better than a barely tepid meatball sandwich. My husband is generous enough to heap lots of lavish praise to everyone when we come here for a meal. Are we wasting our generosity.

The deli is probably my favorite part of this market. Theres so much to choose from and everything seems top quality.The store has lots of essentials but also has some unique finds. I always end up finding something unexpected and leave with a few more items that I originally intended. The local wine selection is pretty large too. Definitely worth having a look at before you leave.Also on the way out, give the pastries and desserts a peep.. might be another item worth taking with ya!

We stayed at the Spyglass Inn for a few days and most mornings we walked over here for breakfast. Their pastry selection was good and their coffee was great. They had a nice produce selection too and great customer service.

Stopped here to get picnic snacks to take to Dinosaur Park. Such a cute little spot. Great selection of fresh tapenades, olives, cheese, wine - everything we needed. And such a cute little store! Highly recommend for a specialty food stop.

Lovely deli and wine selection met all our needs while traveling!

Could be 4 stars if the evening deli staff was more motivated to help customers and less concerned with sweeping the floors. Could be 5 stars if the evening deli staff washed their hands and put fresh gloves on before grabbing a piece of chocolate cake from the case (with their hands) because they had just been sweeping and touching the broom. Cashier was very courteous this evening.

Unfriendly, upscale takeout market. Conveniently situated to our hotel with exorbitantly high prices. Our simple turkey sandwich with lettuce & chutney dressing was $13. Coleslaw was overdressed. One checker for 8 waiting customers, some with lots of groceries. Find a Sprouts and go there for quality take out.

Super market!Nice place for anything from a quick milk run to a gourmet beef dip sandwich with au jus. Its more than a convenience store, its specialty stuff. They have EVERY FLAVOR OF BEN & JERRYS!!! You cant find that anywhere anymore!!! Their sandwiches are fresh and awesome! They also have large to go salads and pastas. Great find in an easy to get to location!

This is such a lovely shoppe in every sense of that word. Their curated selection of goodies makes this a fun place to pick up picnic foods, items for a nice night in, and a great place to take visitors for a special meal. They do have some of the basic items, too, so if you need Tylenol or something like it you can grab that, too. Theyve got a bakery section, deli, salads, produce, and more.Highly recommend for families, couples, and more.

Had an awful experience with one of the shoppers today. She went stark raving mad regarding the distance near the register. She was out of control, cussing continuously insulting me and finally she left causing such disruption to all others. I felt incredibly sorry for the staff and the manager. I was not going to let this awful unhappy individual carry on with her inappropriate behavior... I eventually asked the lady to leave. People if you feel so angry about the COVID-19 period, please please please, stay at home. You are making our lives unbearable!

Just walked in for some coffee and was surprised at all the cute things in there, besides 4 different blends of coffee there was a full deli and the best looking cakes and pies would definitely go back to buy some packaged pasta...looked really good !!

They have the best rotisserie chicken Ive ever had. Its stuffed a bunch of rosemary, garlic and half a lemon. So good.

Their Pancetta BLT is incredible. Overall a really nice little shop.

DO NOT BUY A SALAD HEREThey dress their salads and then let them sit and m a r i n a t e. Needless to say, brown, wilty, soggy lettuce is not appetizing.Also, of the 3 small chunks of chicken in said caesar salad, 1 had a bone in it.Sammich was good though.

Great food and alcohol. unfortunately, treat their workers very poorly including no days off on holidays and an extremely pretentious dress code. Employees are friendly and helpful but are being verbally reprimanded for something every time i walk in.Was asked to leave by the deli manager for apparently no reason as well(who asks a customer to leave?). Overall pretty disappointed as I generally really enjoy the food. Just calling it how it is.

The homemade soups are to die for at DePalo and Sons deli. Today I got the Minestrone. It is full of delicious chunky vegetables and sausage. The broth is also so good!They also had tomato lentil today for something different.The variety of deli meats and salads are also very good. There is also take out food freshly made, a bakery and an Italian market. So if you are hungry for some tasty food, and you are in or close, stop, and it will be worth your while.

Excellent, but quite pricey. It is a super compact gourmet shop bursting with all kinds of both homemade & other stuff. The Deli is high end & so is the wine area. It is ideal for locals or tourists to find anything from a dozen eggs to uber priced fine Champagne. The Deli does make gourmet sandwiches. They also have a handmade Mozzarella that is amazing. There roast chicken is good. It is kind of like a mini-Whole Paycheck Market...but is a Mom & Pop shop. Amazingly, it originated in my hometown in Brooklyn NY!

Loved this place! walking distance to the dolphin resort and cliff hotel. Has everything you could need to better your vacation.Great wine selection as well as a small selection of cigars.attached is a little market with fresh produce as well as a meat dept. Must try the chicken!!!

Amazing deli sandwiches!

I stop here all the time before/after the Avila Ridge hike. Small hot and cold food deli with salads and proteins. Fresh made baked goods, and desserts. Large wine and alcohol selection. High prices but the BALSAMIC GLAZED Pork Pops are worth it!

Nice upscale family run market with all things Italian, BUT very expensive. I dont live here so I dont have the connection to it like the local people do. I was going to buy lasagne for my dinner but its $15 a lb. A nice size chunk would have been $14. I bought a scone & a couple of cookies instead. LOL !

Saddest chicken salad sandwich. It was dry! Stale bread, very little salad lots of sprouts, I didnt even realize it had avocado and feta because it was such a tiny amount. For the price I want to taste what I pay for. Never again

Having Eaten here so many times over the years, I must say this place holds up to the test of time. The Sandwiches are custom to order and fabulous. Huge ( split on for two is usually enough ) and fresh and delicious. The salads are so fresh and there is such a selection that I always find something wonderful. The gift shop part seems to be a bit of a high end reach for a deli liquor store, but it looks like great quality to me. Grab a sandwich, some salad, and a drink and find one of the beautiful ocean side parks - I can think of three within 2 miles - That is always a treat!

Great deli! Take home or buy sandwiches. The home made moncarella is the worlds best. Not found better in Italy. The wine and liquor is pricey but has good variete. Dried pastas are excellent.

This place is a fantastic treasure with offerings that range from delicious hand crafted hot and cold food to a very unique grocery store featuring foods and wine from many small and local crafters. Their in-house baked goods are also to die for.

Great local place for me to buy scratch-offs, they even take debit card for them too! How bout that.Dont forget their amazing tri-tip sandwich with sea salt chips at the deli!

Best stop midway between LA and SF for lunch. The yummiest sandwiches made to order. Fill out a form with their options, wait a few and they will call your name. Delish!!Lots of yummy tapenades and spreads, snacks, sweets, lovely cooking and serving dishes, and Italian imported food perfect for hostess gifts, etc. Mortadella imported, 6 or 7 other kinds of meat, 8 or 9 cheese options, 10 kinds of bread...I have purchased their yearly calendar tea towel for the last few years. They are great for big napkins when I make up the table, but big enough that three could make a great centerpiece also.
