Attention to everyone that is thinking about getting their car serviced by this dealership please save your money do your research and go somewhere else. The employees that work here are rude and have no sense of customer service. We had a coolant leak which they said was my water pump, I authorized repair. Picked up my car and just 100 under miles it started to overheat. Sent back to them and they told me I needed a new motor. Im wondering if that was my problem all along and they just wanted my money. Dont deal with Mark Anderson is rude and has no right dealing with customers.Thank youEmilio

First they have had our car for a week and a half to fix security system.(sec sys kept car from starting). After calling Tues and being told they would call Wed. After no call by. 4:00 on Thurs I went to the lot. Car still not done after getting the parts Tues. May be worked on FriNo guarantee when it will be done. Original estate of $600 new guess is $1,150..The service writer was friendly, that is the good part of this review.Next time I will take the vehicle to dealer that wants my business.

I dropped in on Saturday to get a quote for an appointment set for Monday and I was able to have the servicing done without an appointment. I explained to Daniel that I had missed one scheduled mileage maintenance and my next scheduled maintenance was approaching so what ever needed to be done please take of it today.I was surprised that I was able to get a walk major servicing done.

I want to say thank you to Linda Grohman & Ed in finance for making this transaction easy, laid back, and stress free for me. I went on the website and submitted my info for the truck I wanted and within 5 minutes I had received a call from Linda right away and was told I could drop by that same day at 6PM. My trade in was easy, there was no going back and forth and the price was very fair, the solo test drive experience was great, Ed explained everything in detail and did not pressure me at all, and Linda made sure everything was good in the end. I am happy with my new truck and the experience went much better than I had at other dealerships in the past. Thank you Linda & Ed!

Worst dealership I have ever encountered. I made a reservation for a vehicle and drove over 2 hours while having contact the entire time with the sales rep. I arrived and the car was in front ready to go for me. I was handed the keys and told to look it over before our test drive. Sales rep leaves while we get ready for a test drive and comes back to tell me Im sorry the car has been sold already! This was all within the first 10 minutes of us being at the dealership. Sales manager didnt even have the face to come apologize or give an explanation. I gave them a full day to reach out and nothing, not a single apology or explanation from management. The sales rep even said they do this to people a lot and their systems were down so she didnt understand how this could have even happened. Horrible management and horrible customer service. If it wasnt for the kind sales woman I would have made this a much bigger deal for the 4 1/2 hour round trip of time wasted.

Great customer service at Winter Chevrolet!! I went online and looked for a used car on TrueCar to look for a manual transmission vehicle and this dealership had the Civic I was looking for with an excellent price. Melinda Sanchez contacted me right away and I told her what I was looking for a nice trade in price on my vehicle and we agreed right away. I went to the dealership to test drive the Civic that I wanted and we talked about a price that I was happy with. I am 48 years old and I have had a bad experience twice in my time buying cars in the past so I was skeptical about this dealership. Melinda is great with communication because every time I text her and asked her more questions about the car she got back to me pretty quick with replies. If you buy a car from this place make sure you ask for Melinda.

However, after the service experience I just had and the lack of customer service from Don Mayjoffo I will not be returning to winter Chevy in Antioch. He was rude and lacked any type of customer service one should possess in his position. My business will be taken elsewhere along with any one I come in contact with and asks my opinion about winter Chevy.

1 star is too many. I was looking around for 15-20 minutes, before I left. I was the only potential customer there, and not 1 sales person, or any Chevy employee, for that matter, came out of the building to assist me, help me, sell me a car, take my money...NOTHING! Ive never been to a car dealership, that didnt have a sales person approaching me the moment I entered the dealership. It was 110°, so maybe they prefer to make money only on cooler days!

This review is for the service department. Disappointed with the level of customer service I received. Especially this being my first trip ever to a dealership. Very disappointed. When I went to pick up my car, the guy said let me get your keys and a receipt and Ill take you to the cashier. Paid over $850.00 to get a tune up on my car and not one single thing was explained to me in regards to what was done on my car. And come to find out only by reading the reciept when I got home, is that I had a screw in the outside sidewall tire that is not repairable which I understand. But at least you could have let me know before I got in the car to drive it. And why would you not offer to replace my tire? Service advisors name was Alex.

I took my car in for DPF canister replacement and the invoice said it would have a 21 point (I think 21 point) inspection. But that was overlooked, I was due for an oil change. DIC indicated I have about 5% oil life left....I dont trust these guys to do interval maintenance, if they dont even notice the oil needs to be changed. I was due for my 97,000 maintenance, and was going to have them schedule that but changed my mind when I lost trust.

This review is for their service department especially the service manager who is too busy to return phone calls. Their service advisor are inept. They don’t fully inform you about what is needed to service your vehicle. Larry the service advisor said to my wife “Well sweetie I’m old, I do t know what they need.” #1 you should know since your job is a service advisor. #2 where do you come off calling a customer sweetie like that. I’m sure he didn’t have negative intentions but it’s not appropriate and unprofessional. Is the service manager Carlos have a damn about his customers or the service level his department is giving he’d at least return a phone call. It’s been over a week with no call back.AVOID THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT

I cant tell you how many visits to a car dealership I have had in my life and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. There was absolutely no pressure to buy and I felt comfortable the whole time. Brian V., our salesman, was fantastic. It was raining the day we bought the car so he set us up to have the car detailed on another day. He followed up and made sure it was done and even helped with installing the new mats we bought. I wholeheartedly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a new car.

DONT use Winter Chevrolet for maintenance on your vehicles! Took my birthday present from my hubby which was the most beautiful corvette I’ve always wanted, to get a slight alignment done to it at Winter Chevrolet yesterday. Let them know we had to leave for work by 3pm. They said “No Problem” we will have it done by 1:30pm. We had to call after 1:30 to see if it was ready (first red flag) then we bring it back home with the slight pull to the left still evident plus on city streets a pull to the right and when parked the steering wheel not straight. So nice of them to add more issues for us! We call immediately they say bring it right back so we did! The guy takes it for a “test drive” to see what we are talking about, comes back 20 minutes later and says oh yea I see what you mean, I will be right back. Comes back says we can fix the steering wheel problem right now but that “test drive” took longer then expected so you will have to bring it back tomorrow for the rest! We explained we now have missed a day of work for this and now your wanting us to miss another day? He says the techs are all packed up for the day oh and we are not going to be able to fix the steering wheel either today cuz that guy has left and the others are busy on other jobs. Bring it back at 8am you will be the first car we touch. My husband works evenings so they say we will have you in and out you won’t need to leave it. He got there at 7:45am it sat for over an hour before he asked what the status was cuz he noticed it parked in the exact same spot he left it in. It’s 9am they say oh we are getting to it next! They pull it around back where they think he can’t see it so he walks back there and it’s just sitting there outside with nobody doing anything to it. He speaks to the service manager and all he says is he’s sorry and they have to send it to Honda to be put on a better machine!!? Hubby calls general manager and gets his voicemail I speak to Rose Winter herself and she claims she’s going to find out what’s going on. My husband walks over to Honda to see what’s going on with the car and one of Honda’s techs is now working on it! Hubby gets in touch with Rose and all she says is she’s sorry for the inconvenience! They didn’t have a problem taking our money for the alignment but refuse to offer him a loaner car or explanation on what’s going on or why it’s taking so long. He’s still there waiting for the car and it’s over 3 hrs later!! Nobody is willing to help him or explain to him why this is happening the way it is and they could care less! We are Losing wages missing work for their mistakes and their arrogance is just salt in the wound of thinking they were competent enough to know how to fix their own vehicles they sell? 4 and a half hours later he’s finally home and explains he started chatting with the tech who finally explained to him he doesn’t know what the last tech did the day before but it’s as good as it’s gunna get! Steering is finally straight again and he claims the slight pull to the left is probably just the tires on the vehicle there is no other explanation!? Sounds like they couldn’t be bothered all the way around from tech to director!!

Unprofessional behavior/service, while conducting business through email due to the covid-19 their representatives Sam & Melinda stopped, out of the blue responding to my emails, wasted a whole day on trying to get information on one of their vehicles. Melinda never returned anymore emails after asking about the 72 month 0% like that question was the plague in itself, and Sam stopped returning my emails after asking him to find me someone else to help me because I was receiving no help at all from Melinda. Worst service I have ever experienced from a dealership. No consideration for my time, terrible business, horrible service. :-(

I was not given the proper expectations about my cars registration. I was told that my registration and plates would all be taken care of that was not the case Ive been waiting patiently over 30 days for my new registration to come in the mail. I got a bill in the mail for $500 from California DMV I called the sales rep he told me he did not understand what I mean.I understand that is not the companys policy to educate customers on DMV policy but it would have been nice to be told to correct informations I was clearly out of state and they knew that. I will not be purchasing another vehicle from here or servicing my vehicle here honesty is extremely important to me. And to get a surprise bill not a good look. #7/17 Update the manager has done nothing to help and Im out 587 dollars. And now the new car I purchased a short time ago with only 6,000 mi on it now has a check engine light on do not buy a vehicle from this location. Update another check engine light. Returning as of 9/3/20. Do not buy a car from here.

Labor cost is rediculous. Mechanic and sales rep appeared to be great. Some question on some work done or not done. When spending over $4,150.00, Id want to be 100% totally satisfied and assured. ...Im not. No problems yet on work that was performed. Surprised with the amount of money spent, no complimentary car wash/detail. Being a retired combat disabled vet, I guess my standards of how to take care of people are driven by pride and appreciation and not by money.

We came back to Winter for warranty work. We were well received and taken care of quickly. We were even lucky enough to get a loaner car since the car was going to take longer than we thought. They did offer us a shuttle too, which we were going to take until we got the loaner. I would recommend this dealership for your service needs, as they do take care of you and communicate about the status of your vehicle.

I had a full coolant flush done on my 04 z06 a few months back. The staff was very professional, helpful and kind. BUT, the reason for only 3 stars was the technicians work. When I received my car back from being worked on the coolant overflow was FULL TO THE BRIM. They had put WAY TOO much coolant in. I work on all my own cars but this car I like to have records of work done. It was a bit ridiculous to see that technicians didn’t even know the proper amount of coolant to be put in to my car. Unfortunately I may be taking my car to another dealer.

Bad experience! After being told by two mechanics our vehicle needed computer re-programming because bizarre diagnostic codes kept popping up, radio was dead, all chimes (sounds) stopped working, & engine was hard starting, we were advised to take it to Winter for computer re-programming. Their service mgr. said it sounded like computer issues. After quoting a price of $170, they called us & said they had NOT re-programmed the computer, because it now needed fuel injectors - which would cost $1,100. They refused to do the computer work, fix the radio, or do ANY other service, unless we paid the higher cost (extortion?) 😕 We ended up paying $179 to get the car back (after they did nothing but look at it). Now we still have to find someone else to re-program it. The fuel injector diagnosis might be just another erroneous code that came from a scrambled computer. We bought the car NEW at Winter. -Very disappointed, life-long Chevy fans.

I have a mixed experience with this establishment. I brought my car in specifically to have the computer in my commuter updated. Was given a dollar amount on the phone of how much it would cost. I dropped my car off and found later they couldn’t update my computer, according to them, but they were trying to figure out something I had already determined was related to the computer needing updated. I never asked them to do this and they tried to tell me it was already up to the dollar amount they quoted for what I wanted done, yet now couldn’t be done. When I told them I didn’t ask them to do that and drove down there to take my car, I was told my computer was broke and needed replaced. I agreed to have it replaced. Later I was told they were able to just update my car, which is what I wanted done in the first place. But they told me the amount was now double what I was quoted to begin with. I went down there thinking it was going to suck cause I was going to have to argue about the amount because I know I was being charged for them doing things I already paid for someone else to do. I luckily spoke to a different service worker and told him my story. He said “If you were quoted that then that’s what you will pay.” So I would say I’m reluctant but they did rectify the entire thing in the end.

While checking me in she found my vehicle has a recall that they would take care of while it was being serviced, and the time she told me it would be done is exactly the time she called me to tell me it was all finished. I found my DREAM car at Winter Chevrolet and absolutely knew I had to have it, it’s a manual Chevy Camaro SS that I couldn’t find anywhere else.The buying process on the other hand was a little frustrating due to the fact it was all done over the phone because of Covid 19, and because I lived almost 3 hours away, I wasn’t able to be there in person to see the car and interact personally with the sales woman. So instead I had the car delivered.I dealt with three different people during the entire process and the only one that seemed sincere was the finance manager but I will say, once the deal is done and they’ve received their payment from the bank, you are no longer a priority to them.So here’s my advice.1. Don’t buy a car over the internet unless you absolutely have found your dream car because your taking a huge risk of things not being what you were told they were.2. If your getting an “off” vibe from a sales woman or man, ask if there’s someone else you can work with.3. Make sure that all details of the car, like pre certification, are 💯 accurate, because sometimes things can change after the sell of the vehicle.4. And lastly, if there’s a pandemic going on and your car shopping, I highly suggest trading your previous car in for the vehicle your buying (if there’s a loan on it) because most likely you’ll have a very difficult time selling it yourself and you’ll end up with two car payments for a while.I won’t say that buying from them was a horrible experience, I ended up with the car of my dreams and I couldn’t be happier in that regards but other than that, I can’t say much else.I just wish I could of been there in person for the entire transaction.

Has the best Volt mechanic/technician in the Bat Area. Very nice sales manager service manager. Did not care for the sales person. Made it very clear I was interested in a Chevy and nothing else. The entire time I was there he kept trying to get me to look at Hondas. He was nice, but who wants to deal with a sales person who doesn’t listen to the customer? The entire time I was there I had to tell him over and over I wan’t interned in a Honda. I sure wish and hope Amazon will sell cars soon so I don’t waste time with sales people that don’t know anything about the products they are selling and don’t listen to what the customer is saying. I bypass the Chevy dealership that’s 15 mins and drive and hour to this one because of their Volt mechanic.

I bought my car from Chevy 2012, the sales department were great but the service department fails me and for this I choose never to buy another vehicle from winter Chevrolet, Pittsburg caOn my last two visits with my vehicle problem the service man failed to inform me on the first event if the other fuel injectors needed to be changed and lo and behold they all failed in less than 5 months, and I rarely drive this vehicle, I had about a 1000 put in during this period .I did my service checks so I didn’t understand why this was happening . Nothing special was recommend to prevent the others from failing, like fuel injector cleaner, nor the leaking oil wasn’t mentioned from my oil seal ( as I had noticed a few drops for awhile didn’t think much about it ) until I told them to check, also the price $4000+ to replace all the!fuel injectors now ! What happened to the 1 yr warranty for the other 2? And why is GM only charging$ 2200 to replace them ? Again I thought I was going to get better service than this since I got the car from there, but at the end I felt taken advantage of . Plus he wasn’t even there to give me the correct paperwork with the diagnosis of the failed injectors for the service fee of $225 it only mentioned misfiring, not which injectors failed and recommended changing spark plugs which he never mentioned to me . ! Thanks but no thanks ! I deserved better service and honesty

I had a grinding on my front wheels and just wanted him to see what it was and he tried to upsell me and told me unless I paid he was only taking the tires off and look. When previously they have test driven my car with a free diagnosis. Then proceeded to have an attitude when I told him thats not ok and I wasnt paying for something unless there was an issue then Id gladly pay to fix it. With some more attitude I finally said nevermind Ill talk to your manager. After chasing me down he agreed to a free diagnosis but Im so upset at the level of service provided today. It makes me rethink where Im servicing my car next oil change...

Went down to look into purchasing a vehicle. I told the sales woman and the sales manager that I didnt want a hard pull on my credit, as I wasnt sure on the vehicle I wanted yet. Just found out they did a hard inquiry on my credit anyway. Dishonest!

We have a Honda Odyssey Touring van we have serviced at Winter Honda which is owned by Rose Winter. They do a fine job. I wish they werent so expensive on repairs. Weve owned four vans over the past 29 years but the Honda is far better than our Chryslers.

By far the worst service department Ive ever had to do business with, they do half of the job, lie about what job they didnt even do, have you pay for services and tell you your is in the parking lot so you can go on a scavenger hunt, never return calls, never give status updates. Just overally unprofessional business. I strongly recommend you go elsewhere for servicing of your vehicles.

Called for an appt. on Oct. 18, to have a re-call repaired. Along with an oil change, and tire rotation. Was informed of a 2 hour window. When returning, just the re-call was complete. The service guy informed me it would be 2 more hours. I said no thanks, I will take the truck. He then directed me to another girls service desk, to pick up the truck. Neither one of these customer service reps, acknowledged the fact that my order was still in the wall holder waiting for the 2 other services. No apologies what so ever...Better off taken truck the extra mile to Concord, where it was purchased...

I had my car serviced here once before and they did a good job.I was really in a pinch this time because I could hear the vehicle making noise plus the smell of fuel in the cabin. Long story short, they had the car for most of the day poorly diagnosed it saying that there nothing wrong with it charged me $175.00 sent me on my way. The car broke down 4 days later leaving me stranded. The service manager would not return my call. I will not return to this dealership or recommend it to anyone else

I first went to Concord Chevrolet - Dont ask why. They sold the truck I was interested in buying after making an appointment & while I was test driving it. I came to Winter right after with guns ablaze. The manager Sean did a great job with his calm demeanor & it calmed me down. He gave me options, went over pricing for each truck & really turned around my personal experience of buying the truck. Sandy my sales person was very sweet but lacked knowledge about features & how they worked. I work for Rolls Royce myself & their motto is appreciation. I appreciate what Sean did for me. GM & Winters needs to know that.

Well... were to start. Avoid Ed! This is definitely a family owned business. I had a wonderful experience with the sales woman Sandra. She was so helpful, honest, and great customer service. I decided to buy a car I test drove because of her and the price wasnt bad either. Now the process of buying the car I would give 2 STARS. I delt with two different men. The younger man was more open for negotiations and seemed reasonable. The older man nearly retirement age Ed was less open and very much stuck in his old ways. He was like a old dad who when a teenager comes and asks for anything he just says NO! He didnt even want to hear anything but sold. I would say avoid him!!! He is a nice guy but wants nothing more then to protect the profits of his company he works for. He also does ALL the old tactics to make a sale. If I didnt like Sandra so much I would have just walked away. There are hundreds of these used Toyotas for sale all over the bay in better condition. Also they tried to WAY undervalue my potential trade in. As I was sitting in the dealership starting negotiations their online person emailed and also called me and was offering me twice as much CASH offer then what they were trying to put in the paperwork. What the .. I was thinking. Crazy! Then they tried to use the airbag recall attempt to knock off 700 dollars as well for my trade in. I called the dealership that I take my car into and its a free service plus mine was already fixed. SMH... so beware of all this nonsense when you might trade something in. Look up everything before you go. I ended up just keeping my trade in .. they were scammers on that side of the deal. There are more weird and somewhat entertaining things that happened that day but will save those things for another day. Anyway I bought a car that is ok for the most part. Price was so so. Customer service was great on the sales person side but the negotiations were awful. I would say I would probably buy on line next time or at least look more into it.Add: Sold my car myself Craigslist 9500$ in a Pandemic. Dont believe the prices they offer in for trade in. :)Oil change: included in my sale was one oil change. Im attempting to collect. Ed was his usual charming Old father figure type and and cant find the document. He is passing it on to the sales person Sandra. Its her day off. I have the document. Hopefully this will go without issues. Apparently he also read this review and hated it. He is very sweet and fun to give an honest hard time too back! ;)
