It was a hot day and I wanted a frozen drink. Mom wanted halo-halo. We went to Sweet As Bookstore? I was skeptical at first but then we went in :DSuch a cute little bookstore that sells Filipino cold drinks. The best idea ever!!! You can chill with a friend, read a book, and maybe do homework! (Seating is closed at this though since the Pandemic and all). But still super cute.There are so many choices in drinks, if its your first time it may take you a minute to choose. They also have a couple of snacks like fries and cookies. The staff were nice and service was fast!Halo-Halo: one of the best Ive ever tasted. Ive never finished one before but this ultimate halo-halo was so refreshing, there was nothing left...see pictures :).

The delicacies here are great! Ube Krinkles are amazing and just right amount of soft! Pair them with an ultimate halo-halo and youre set! Only downside is; because they are a small shop with limited staffing, wait times may be slow and long BUT its well worth it!

The taro smoothie was delicious, the staff was nice, and the service was really fast. It’s a bit pricey but overall amazing service

OH MY GOODNESS this is amazing!Caramel ice blended from Coffee Bean. my favorite drink.On top of that, they have got excellent customer service and quality of their desserts are fresher and tastier. Im so thrilled to try the other flavors. This is a must try drink. I definitely will recommend it.

Every time I come here, I wait 20 minutes + for my drinks.My Thai tea also always comes warm and taste like its watered down, not potent.

They took a long time to make my drink, nobody else was in there. And they gave me the wrong drink. However I like the book store set up, cute.

The workers are very sweet and kind, the owner is very down to earth and respectful. I really love the fresh avocado shakes, crepes, and boba. They have a large menu to choose from. Definitely coming back. 😃

I went last Saturday and I am now hooked on the Matcha Milk Tea with Boba.Their boba taste fresh and home made.Do tasty and tender.

My family drove from the south bay to try this place. When we got there, it was closed. 😂It doesnt say on the website that they are closed. We tried to call first but they didnt have any voice mail.I hope they can update their website because we asked other friends to go and try it.The nextdoor business told us that Sweet As is closed indefinitely.
