If you are serious about music & spending a lot of dough I would definitely go to Joplin or even Springfield first (before that crappy Pittsburg store). There are better businesses there that would be worth developing a good rapport with. You can get the best service from the smaller (but established) retail stores in the bigger towns (unlike the music Dept in Best Buy, for example) and once they get to know you as a regular customer they will cut you deals on stuff too (that you will never see in big chain stores).

I dont know why this place has bad reviews! They have the absolute best customer service I have experienced. The elderly couple are good people and run a good business.
