After dealing with Sears Product Replacement Dept through their Master Protection Agreements NO LEMON GUARANTEE for more than a year. Often being without a working refrigerator for days, twice months at a time, numerous parts replacements and 5 re-schedulings, Mike at American Freight in Ross Township did what Sears didnt or wouldnt do in a year. Within one hour of speaking to Sears I had a new refrigerator. It was delivered to me the following day. Thank you so much Mike.They have a very nice selection of products in their store.
Nice furniture and quick with fulfilling order, however delivery crew was unprofessional, did not assemble furniture nor did they place couches in desired location - did the bare minimum. Also had to reschedule delivery a couple times because of no-shows. For the cost of shipping, they should have did what was advertised. Good Financing options though.
Needed a washing machine found the perfect one. They have a decent variety of all major appliances. The scratch and dent is not on everything. In fact I only saw 2 with obvious dents that would be seen after the appliance was installed. The rest of the appliances had no damage, would not be able to see once installed or so minor who cares. This is the second appliance I have purchased from scratch and dent and just as pleased this time as I was years ago. Scratch and dent makes it possible to get a better appliance for less money.I had forgotten how much they have other than appliances! Kitchen ware, headphones, tables, couches, bedding, exercise equipment, kayaks, mattresses, even a air hockey table. It is worth checking this place out they have so much to look at with very affordable prices. Leola, Jeff and Greg were great nice and helpful. I could not afford this washing machine at any other store. Now going to the scratch and dent you cant necessarily count on the product you want being there. I had done some research and had a list of machines I wanted. This one was a long shot since the price tag was rather high for me at other stores. When I saw it I was thrilled still a little steep for what I actually could afford but I pulled it off and Im thrilled. No damage to the machine it was just out of the box.
I had the best experience and was completely accommodated with pleasant customer service with James. He was a pleasure and extremely polite. He made sure my needs were met with my purchase and delivery. If I could rate him ten stars I certainly would! The delivery men Cam and Otis were timely and personable. Great job American freight! I guess the selection was decent, but the sales people were obviously very bored and very lonely. They couldnt take no for an answer. Not a bad store, maybe I just hit it at the wrong time.
This place is the old Sears scratch and dent that used to be in Lawrenceville. That location is closed.No frills appliance and furniture store. Got a great deal on a never used out of the box Washer. Its a good place to go if you have an appliance emergency and need one the same day, and are able to pick it up and install it yourself. Better deals than you would get at the Big box stores, and its the same appliances.

I had the nice experience at The Sears Outlet on 51st Street.The salesman, Jeff, was very knowledgeable about the products in the showroom.He took time to answer all my questions, without any sales pressure.He also had a great sense of humor.The service was impeccable, with a very friendly staff (Mike and another gentleman, who asked if I liked the service).I was very pleased with the way I was treated and would recommend this business to friends, relatives and anyone who is interested in shopping for an appliance.

I went there and picked out a stove. The prices weren’t nearly as low as I thought they would be, but I needed a stove. My shop your way MasterCard was declined numerous times. I called the customer service on speaker phone in front of the salesperson who was helping me. The customer service rep explained that she could not see any reason why my card was not working. So we tried again multiple times. It still did not work. I walked out of the store very upset about not being able to get a stove. The manager did not offer any assistance. We went to another appliance store about a mile up the road and chose a much nicer and cheaper stove. We were in and out within 20 minutes. My credit card was accepted there. I would not recommend American Freight to anyone.

Good store. Its a little out of the way, trying to find it. Once there was plenty if parking. Staff was friendly. They had a lot of things to choose from. Prices were good. Worth stopping in to see what they have. They have more than just major appliances.
Mike was awesome. He was accommodating and informative. Store is organized. He was sweet to my rambunctious 5 year old. My only challenge prices aren’t bad just not much different than another big box store and that is OK with me.
This is the WORST company!!!! My parents ordered a refrigerator and waited over a month and a half for the 1st one to arrive. Yes I said first because when it arrived it didnt work! My parents stocked the refrigerator and the next morning it was off and all of the food was bad. They reported the issue on August 15th and they were told to come to the store (45 min away) and pick out a new one. So they did on that same day. The 2nd refrigerator arrived YESTERDAY September 1st (so no refrigerator from 8/15-9/1 they were stocking a cooler with ice several times a day). This 2nd one was put in and the bearings fell out on the freezer door (while the workers were still at the house) and the water and ice portion did not have a lever so they can not get water or ice out! Now the company is telling them they are LOOKING FOR ANOTHER ONE but dont have any in stock. This has been such an inconvenience for my parents and family and now to be told again to wait even LONGER. It is completely unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Drove 2 hours to get a specific fridge they had said was available the day before. The lady who I got to look up the item number told me it was sold and was very curt about helping me find a comparable replacement. Started to get flat out rude when I started asking about a fridge that wasnt priced yet. When I did find one I liked the cashier was pushy about a warranty then gave me attitude when I declined. A lot of the inventory was pretty beat up. Some stuff looked like it straight up fell off a truck. While I was waiting for a guy to help me load my fridge I saw another employee moving another fridge with a dolly and dropped it down on the floor so hard the handle fell off. The one redeeming part of the experience was that guy that helped us load was helpful and knowledgeable.
Horrible customer service! I stood waiting behind a younger lady and and elderly lady today, she said she turned 88 today, no acknowledgement, not even a Happy Birthday; mean while, 10 minutes standing behind them, no acknowledgement from the salesman Mike. No, hey Ill be right with you, or let me find someone to help you. Finally, he finished up with the ladies, and said what do ya need? I said Im interested in a dishwasher that doesnt have a price. He walked over, checked out the item, said hed be right back. Over head paged someone. Never came back, and stood chatting with some guys that walked in 5 minutes before this. We stood there for another 10 minutes and said apparently they dont want our business, we left. He just looked at us, like -bye and kept chatting. Hey Mike, we werent in there for just a dishwasher, we were going to buy all our appliances that we needed. Your loss!! Ill gladly spend extra money for better customer service! Sears- get rid of poor customer service!
Staff was quite friendly on todays visit. Even though only was one person working floor, he was attentive & even as others came in explained he was only one working, but he was there to help. This location doesnt have the selection they have in some others, but we found exactly what we were looking for at the right price.
The store was well stocked and had a variety of furniture mattresses appliances lawnmowers and more. Sales associates were very friendly and helpful. I left 4 stars because a good amount of appliances werent priced and couldnt be sold. I will try Sears outlet again for future purchases

They never called about my delivery. After weeks I called them and customer service told me it was just a delay because they were busy. One week later I called and asked if I could just pick them up and was told they had them and I could. When I arrived the dryer was ready but the washer had been sold! And they couldnt get a new one. This is After the lady that was helping me told me she was going to get some one and slipped out the back door and we watched her drive away. This was the worst shopping experience of my life! We were looking at a fridge online from here and found it right away when we went into the store. Leola was working by herself and there was a long line of people checking out. She was extremely helpful and pleasant throughout the entire process. The store itself is also very organized and there is a large selection. I have and will continue to recommend this store!
I purchased a GE Stove over a month ago from AF.Their systems are completely broken from what I can tell.Order was made for one that was New Out of Carton on August 10th. I expected them to take at least a couple of weeks to ship it to me. I dont hear anything about this until I call Friday, September 4th. They then finally tell me it should be delivered between the 8th and 11th.On the 10th, I get a call from the delivery company and they advise me they are not delivering it because all of the tempered glass is broken inside. Does this sound like New Out of Carton to you?So, I call on the 14th wondering what is next. The sales associate tells me that a credit memo was issued on AUGUST 11th. Really? Nothing on my credit card statement shows that.He admitted their inventory system online is not accurate and that most of the time, they send simply what is on the floor.Completely. Broken. System.
I’ll say 2 stars only cause when me and my mom came they was helpful. But when I called to check on our order that’s supposed to be delivered they had me on hold for 40 minutes just talking in the background and answering other calls not once to pick up and see if I was still on the phone. They need to work on customer service cause it’s a shame if I can hear all the conversations happening like they didn’t want to pick up the phone to answer my questions
Sales people were too busy talking to wait on us. Went to the counter to ask for help and it still took 20 minutes for someone to get to us. I had a print out of a refrigerator they had listed on line. They said it was still in the store but couldnt seem to find it. Said they would price match a similar fridge. When we had one picked out, they said they could match the price plus half of the difference. (Not what we were told.) Then we were told there was no warranty on the fridge it had to be purchased separately for $595.00 for 5 years. Sales woman was rude and got an attitude when we asked questions. Needless to say we left after an hour and a half, without purchasing the fridge. Stopped at Home Depot on the way home and purchased the same brand, similar model new fridge with free delivery, 5 year extended warranty, set up and haul away of the old one for less than it would have cost at American Freight . DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!
We were looking for appliances for our house. The prices and selection were better than I expected. The store is very clean. The salesman answered all our questions. I will say there maybe minor scratches or dings. But for the savings its well worth it. For a minimal charge they deliver and set up. They even will remove your old items for a very minimal price. I highly recommend them.

Bought a stove. That was great (thanks Dale!). But then they’ve failed to deliver 2 times. 2nd one was after the comment from the manager below. In the future I’ll pay a few more bucks and buy from a more organized company.Got a call day before to set up time for delivery. Then the next day no delivery, no call, no info. Stove was apparently never picked up from the outlet. Nobody knows why, and when trying to reschedule/cancel nobody is picking up the phone.
Paid for my refrigerator in full with 3year warranty on a Friday. I rented a truck to go pick up it up two days later on a Sunday. Got it home plugged it in and did not work. I called the same day and ask if I can schedule a pick up and just to refund my money. They was supposed to pick it up Wednesday no one called or showed. Called again Manager called me and said it would be picked up Saturday. Friday got a call confirming the schedule pick up for Saturday between 2pm & 4pm. Saturday no show and I call the store again associate told me told me there is nothing he can do because he his a customer like me and the manager would be in on Monday. Im not trying to be difficult I just want my money back and to get this refrigerator out of my house. I had to pay for two refrigerators plus $70 for a rental truck. I am disgusted about this whole ordeal and have been never experienced this type of treatment as a customer and will never buy from Sears again. Lesson learn and will buy from Home Depo for now on.
I should be careful saying this, but I love going in this place. They have a lot of great bargains on large appliances with some scratch & dent thrown in, but they also have a lot of odd find items too - tools, grills, even some furniture and bedding. Always worth a walk through.

The only thing there that is at outlet prices are the appliances. And you only get a good deal on the really dinged up ones. Everything else, that isnt an appliance is still highly priced. I noticed a bedroom set that I liked. Seen the same exact exact set at big lots for 75% of what Sears had it for. I seen a baseboard duster/mop combo there, wanted to grab one but forgot to swing around and grab it. Found one on Amazon for $4 cheaper. I got a refurbished Shark vacuum there, $157, was about 50% of the original price, wasnt impressed with it and was missing the attachments, was told to purchase on Sharks site but theyre sold out, so I had to return it. Its one of them places you go to for o ly very certain things. There is a guy there, pretty sure his name is Mike, spiky hairdo, helpful guy.
We purchased a Kenmore refrigerator from Sears Outlet in Pittsburgh. The sales staff were friendly and helpful. The delivery was delayed 2 1/2 weeks and both doors were damaged. GM Greg and Mike addressed the delivery issue professionally and ordered 2 replacement doors.

Wish I could give more stars, but were utterly disappointed. There was not a single gas range we could buy that is under 1k. Its because they have fewer dents we were told, but with these price tags, its unlikely anyone finds something in their budget, unless of course they budget for brand new, pristine things. Was very excited that this location is so close, but couldnt have guessed the prices would be so far out of range.

We bought a fridge from this location. It took 2 weeks to get it delivered, which would have been tolerable had our old fridge not been broken. Once delivered, the new fridge only worked for 3 hours before error codes popped up and it stopped cooling. We were told we had to come in person with our receipt to get a refund. A 90-minute drive for us each way, but okay. We scheduled to have them come pick up the faulty fridge. They still have not come after three missed pick up appointments and multiple phone calls and messages. I have now had this fridge in the middle of my dining room for 2 weeks. I am about to put this unit out for garbage pick up instead.a week later update: and...today they stood us up again for pick up. I have no words.
Ever since frights took it over it seems like it just got more expensive youre almost paying the same thing you would for a regular refrigerator scratch and dent offers you may be a 10% off or something its not like it used to be used to be great buying there now your mods will just go to the stores same price and you dont have to deal with the dent or the scratch

Its dirty and nothing is in good shape. I can understand a few dents here and there being what the store is but pricing a fridge for over 1400$ when all the door handles are missing, shelves are missing and there are 4 giant dents on it is just ridiculous!
Ordered a refrigerator online paid for shipping and warranty, only to have to call them three days later to find out that theyre system was down and could not process any deliveries. Went to the store in person for them to tell me sorry I dont know what else to tell you. Had to get a full refund and go somewhere else. Manager tried her best to help me out but store was very understaffed, they had multiple angry customers in line ahead of me. They do seem to have great deals but customer service definitely needs to be worked on.

Never have i been so mistreated in retail in my entire life i paid for a refrigerator on 09/13/2018 it is now 10/14/2018 and i still dont have my refrigerator I have 5 kids and cant go grocery shopping cause I have nowhere to store my food I have been rescheduled 4 times because the drivers have fallen behind hire new drivers this is not ok I was told my window for delivery was 10:30am-12:30pm as I write this review it is 7:38pm the store closes at 8pm I can not recommend this store to anyone money comes out of my bank account with no product to show for itEdit Got a call from them GM the next morning my refrigerator was delivered delivery fee refunded and the price got knocked down will bump up to 3 stars cause they need new delivery drivers
Truly horrible company.Bought from Cheryl Drive, dealt with manager Greg.They took my money and never delivered my refrigerator. No call, No show, on THREE occasions. Took off of work three times while they let me wait around for them. They couldnt even call me to let me know they werent coming. The worst part is when I would call and try to get details I was either told all of the managers quit or I was hung up on. They give you the run around so you continue to wait. I lost so much food and money and time. This has been the worst retail experience Ive ever gone through.They have made zero effort to make this right. Obviously I will never shop with American Freight again. The savings that can be had is not worth the aggravation, disrespect, the time and money lost by taking off of work, and the cost of spoiled groceries.Dont bother calling for the regional manager number that they owners will post in response. Waste of time they dont answer.
This place is a big warehouse with moderately damaged appliances with discounted prices. If you are looking for high end stuff (stainless steel refrigerators and the like) this is a worth a trip because the discounts are significant. The discounts on less expensive appliances like mid to low range white stoves and dishwashers is minimal, so you are better off just buying those items new.
Dont know why we even bother driving here. Its out of the way and theyre prices are insane. We stopped in this afternoon to look at dryers. They carried an older model Maytag than Lowes and Home Depot and wanted $100 more!! Dont bother driving here. Just go to the big box stores. Youll get better pricing with factory warranty.
This outlet store is a scratch and dent store, so youre getting brand new appliances with minor aesthetic issues. You can also order brand new flawless appliances from here. They also provide a delivery service.
Very quick and friendly and very good prices. Not everything they sell is scratch and dent. I got an unboxed, brand new, undamaged stove $100 cheaper than the big box stores since I didnt mind picking it up myself.

Their prices are very fair and the staff is quite friendly. Just be patient and they are generally very polite and helpful.As for the merchandise, generally very good quality, but examine the products CAREFULLY and THOROUGHLY. After we bought the stove we did, we noticed several moderate flaws. Most were not visible when installed, but there were more than we had initially noticed.Also, be realistic - theres a reason your $2500 stove is only $1000; theyre giving discounts and you understand the product isnt brand spankin new and has minor flaws.
Selection is wonderful. If you dont mind a little ding or scratch. Most appliances you have to ask whats wrong with it. Great way to save money on big purchases.

If youre looking for a refridgerator and dont mind some scratches this is the place for you. We got a brand new fridge that retailed for $1100 for a little over $400. With a little work and a few decorative magnets it looks good as new. There were some good values. The other good thing is that you can drive off with your selection instead of having to order it.

This is the first time I have purchased a warranty with my Kenmore vacuum (purchased in early 2014). I was highly pleased with my first service this week. They made two repairs, vacuum works great. The cost to me was $1.62.I have always been a huge Kenmore fan. In the word of big box stores, I love the service at Sears. Job well done Sears!! Thanks.

For reference, this is my first Google review. That is how miserable my experience has been. I ordered a washer/dryer unit the end of June and scheduled a Friday delivery. When it didnt arrive on the day I scheduled, I called them. They said they didnt do deliveries on Friday, so Im unsure how I was able to schedule it. I then rescheduled for another day. When they didnt show up that day I called. They said theyd call me back and didnt. When I called them back to follow up, they said theyd scheduled a delivery for Saturday (without telling me). This is a business, and cannot accept weekend deliveries. I told them this, and rescheduled it for Monday. However, Saturday morning at 8am I get a call from the delivery driver outside the building trying to deliver the appliance. I told them, again, it is a business, and that delivery was scheduled for Monday. When the appliance didnt arrive on Monday, I called them AGAIN, and they told me they would deliver it the next day and refund me the $75 delivery fee. They delivered the appliance the next day, but it was missing parts. I had paid for it to be installed, but it could not be installed. I ordered the missing parts and installed it myself, to discover that it was BROKEN. I called the store, and they said theyd call me back. They didnt. I called them again and they told me to call a number, which was clearly a wrong number. I had to call the 800 Sears number to get any service. Theyre sending a technician next week but can not refund me the install fee or the $75 I was told would be refunded. I have to speak to the store directly for that. Something tells me Im not going to get my money refunded.

This Sears location is definitely open, and has plenty of items for sale on the showroom floor.The staff was very friendly when we walked in, and very helpful when we had questions.Ask for Ed when you shop, and hell steer you in the right direction and answer all your questions. He had a tape measurer in hand, and knew everything when asked about brands, inventory, and energy efficient qualities of each model.PRO TIP: This location will deliver too, with a single $89 fee for up to 5 items!
No stars...they had incorrect delivery address after reminding and calling 3 times. Then they delivered a different product. I had to go to the store to get the issue resolved. Then on the final delivery date, they didnt show up...the scheduled time was between 2.30pm and 4.30pm and until 6:00pm the call center staff had no idea where the driver is...the manager is not picking up the call and no one has any idea what is going on.....mystery continues...I have been on the phone for last 3 hours and they keep putting you on hold to find info which they have no idea of...regretting my decision to purchase from here....

The outlets have great prices (about 30%-60% off!). I have purchased several items from the Sears outlet. (washer, dryer, 2 refrigerators, treadmill, elliptical machine, clothes, mattress, boxspring, frame, etc.). They carry the same warranty as new items. I guess the two biggest problems I have are the level of customer service and the delivery. Generally when I walk in to the outlet I have to find someone to help me. Considering they are getting commission you would think they would be on you like a bum on a ham sandwich! Then theres the lack of product knowledge. Thank goodness for smart phones! The last time I was there I had to find the sales associate. The young lady had no idea about the product I was purchasing. She kept walking away and sitting down! Once I decided on my purchase I had to witness the manager talk down to the sales associate. I just looked at the poor girl and shrugged my shoulders. As I write this review I am waiting for said items to be delivered now. My two hour window was from 12:50pm to 2:50pm. Its 6:50pm! I dont blame Sears for the delivery problems. I just hate having my time wasted. All and all I think these are small prices to pay for the money I saved. By the way. I am going to call and complain tomorrow about the deliver. They will likely refund my $80. I

I cant remember the last time Ive encountered such bad customer service. The first time I went to check out some furniture, I wanted to sit in and try out a few things and the salesman followed me around and tried high pressure sales tactics after I said I was browsing. I was put off enough to look elsewhere even though I really liked one of the recliners. Today, with a sick toddler I decided we need a recliner TODAY and looked online and saw the one I liked is still in stock in this store. When I arrived with kids in tow it has a tag that its sold AND when I wanted to ask an associate if they had another one there was only one employee in the store, and he was busy showing someone refrigerators while a guy stood at the counter from the time I walked in to the time I left without being helped so knowing I was third in line for help from their only employee I left. Over the next couple hours I called twice letting the phone ring for about 10 minutes each time to see if I could ask my one question, no one every picked up.
Where do I begin... The first time I walked in with my partner we walked around trying to understand the organization of the appliances. A man came up and asked us if we needed help. We said we were looking for a gas dryer and asked how they were sorted, by brand or energy type. He told us they were not sorted in any manner. He then proceeded to lift his shirt and scratch his bare belly. Seriously?? Gross. We asked him why the prices were different online and he said they are always cheaper online, even though it was for the machines in the store. We left and placed the order online. After we got the order confirmation and an email saying the order was ready for pick up, we returned to the store. The woman at the desk took forever to acknowledge us and then told us the guy was doing something else and he would be right with us. After 30 minutes of waiting, we got her attention and she said, Ill call him again. This is important to note, as she had never called him in the first place. She called for pick up over the intercom and a man promptly appeared with a dolly. He asked what our order was. I told him my name and the product. He asked to see my receipt. I showed him the online receipt and he was unable to gather the correct information from it. I told him that the woman had a paper receipt and he should probably get it from her. He asked her for it and she told him, the customer has it, not me. Its on her phone. She was very rude to him. The man came back to me, still unable to find the proper information on my phone, because it wasnt on my phone, ever. The woman called him back and handed him the receipt she had all along. Clearly nobody here knows what theyre doing or how to deal with customers. We have now, an hour after arrival, just loaded the dryer. Will definitely nevernev returning here for anything. Everyone we dealt with was incompetent. Disastrous experience.
Name of place is a bit misleading. Used/ returned item were not any less expensive than the new ones at the actual Sears would be. Not sure what the point of this place was. If you are in the area, check It out for yourself (there is a really cool little farmer shop right down road!), though I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way like I did (unless you wanted to check out the little farmer shop, they gave us fresh duck eggs!).

Great place to go if youre looking for a new fridge, stove, or other major appliance. They also have electronics, lawn equipment, washers and dryers, and mattresses at half or a quarter of the cost of buying in a regular store like Sears or HhGregg. The prices are lower because the items may have a cosmetic defect (scratch or dent) but most times you can place that side against a wall or put a magnet over a scratch on a fridge. When my mom remodeled her kitchen she got most appliances here and saved a ton of money and you cant even see any of the damaged areas because theyre up against a wall or cabinet. Youd be foolish not to buy your appliance here.

Got some nice deal but anything and everything you buy dose not come with some type of warranty so if you buy a fridge for 2000 dollars you get nothing take it home dont work out of 2 grand but you can buy one for 3 to 4 hundred
Prices for appliances are not comparable considering the scratch and dent factor. The original prices seem highly inflated and the selling prices are still higher than Home Depot and Lowes. Their delivery and service plans are also 4 times (yes, 4 (four) times) more than Home Depot and Lowes. We will not be purchasing from here. An educated consumer is a dangerous shopper for a store like this.

Products are good. The service is bad. The place is completely understaffed, and they do not know what they are doing. There are two customer service people at the counter and 8 customers waiting. This is such a bad experience on a Thursday morning.
Not what it used to be. Lots of stuff available but not so cheap as you would think. Lack of staff makes a lonely place to shop. Looks better on line. Maybe thats what you are supposed to do.
This is a great place to get lawn equipment and/ or appliances for a rental property. It used to be a great place to get them for everything. However, they no longer offer a warranty, nor can you buy an extended warranty. So, I wouldnt purchase an appliance, which I planned to use longterm, from here. I cant comment on the furniture skld from here, since Ive never bought any of it.
Supposedly an outlet but prices are comparable to the competition. Delivery is $90 in the Pittsburgh area. They dont take away your old appliance either. Until they sort this out, I advise folks to shop around.

Much better alternative to paying full price for appliances. Quick service In Store and if you can haul your items yourself... but the delivery service is horrible and the manager is Very unprofessional and disrespectful .
I came in with 1000 cash in my pocket. I asked the sales manager what do you have on the low end. Nothing! Was his very curt reply. You are an outlet center!!!!! Later I asked him whar was his lowest priced washer. He said he didnt know - maybe this one. Now I see why Sears is a mess.
