Beautiful work on two pieces that are family heirlooms. They provided great suggestions for matting and frame materials, and were able to use an existing frame that was handmade for one of the items. Price was not cheap, but worth the price. Thank you!

I had two medium sized prints that needed framed and tried this shop based on other reviews which turned out to be spot on. The customer service was excellent and the staff helped provide suggestions on layout, colors, framing etc. The framing was done on time and looks great! I highly recommend this store!

I walked in and told the gentleman behind the counter that I got my degree in that I wanted to get it framed or get a frame thats already made for that size degree. He said oh ..well we dont make those or sell those with a with a very uppity and stuck up attitude and then he asked well what size is it? and I responded Im not sure its a degree..(so a frame thats regular size for a degree). He said well theyre all different sizes..and I said I guess I could go and get it as I turned towards the door, and then he said we are very busy, Im booked all week, matter fact Im booked all month and you might want to just call and schedule an Appointment...yeah no thanks Im not interested in this frame shop. I will find a nice frame because I will keep looking just not here.

We were there to have a one of a kind photograph framed in a vintage shadow box. We finally came up with the perfect colors so that the box itself be would not be compromised at all. The staff were very helpful and patient in this quest. I would be recommend you to stop be there and let them work their magic and offer their skills & knowledge. It will be ready in a couple of weeks, Ill give you all an update!

They went out of their way to locate the print that I wanted, found it, framed it beautifully. I had such a wonderful experience in dealing with them. Paul and his daughter Paula do amazing work. They have framed over 20 paintings and special projects for us. Paul will even come to the house and hang the painting. Every job is finished on time and with pride. Highly recommend!

The Frame Gallery is Pittsburgh GEM! It is a family owned business run by true artisans. The staff treat each framing project as if it were there own. They listen attentively to to your vision and will also offer suggestions that you many not even think of that will enhance the overall presentation of your piece. Craftsmanship, quality, and GOOD OLD FASHIONED customer service (remember what that is????) is KEY and they take such pride in their work.These folks can take a $6.99 print from Walmart and by the time they are done with matting and framing, it will look like a million bucks! It is an amazing resource for gift giving. Take Terrible Towel and a cheap Steelers T-shirt from the Strip District vendors, get those puppies framed, and even the most discriminating die-hard fan will want to leave you something in their will after receiving this as a gift and this is coming from a Bengals Fan!!!!).I have since moved out of town, however, I will GLADLY make the road trip back to Pitt to Frame Gallery for all of my framing.Dont trust your framing to amateurs. Quality work at releasable prices, done by professionals who care; its a no brainer folks!!!
