LL Bean makes and sells quality stuff, but you are going to have to pay a bit more to get it. Mostly, I am good with that but I am careful about going in and getting what I need and trying to not get distracted in the process. Ive shopped at this location several times, the staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly so even if you arent ready to buy yo can have nice look around and learn some too.

Clothes are good quality but pricy. We were shocked that all their swimwear were not on sale yet with it being mid August. Even their sale items are pricy.

First time there for me. I went for a life vest. I think that they have the largest stock of life vests, kayaks, and kayak equipment in the area.

Everything I bought from there has been great quality, this time I bought shoes again they had my size, the salespersons were fantastic.

To the gentleman with the glasses whom I don’t entirely remember your name.You’re awesome. You took the time to figure out which bike rack fit my car browsing the the catalogue. When I got home and I was missing pieces I was quite upset to say the least. Only because your store is a couple hours away from my home and I’d hate to drive so far for two screws.But when I called with my complaint I was met with an instant solution. Im not sure if it’s the same worker but he was equally as kind and overnighted the part I needed for my bike rack. Which now works fabulously!Also side note when I left I saw a worker doing a slow motion dance/walk which hilariously added to the positive atmosphere we were greeted to.

Im a long time LL Bean shirt buyer - I like their long sleeve, button down collar shirts. They fit me well and I prefer shirts with a pocket (I wear glasses except for reading). One of my shirts lost one of the two buttons that hold the collar. For some reason, the replacement buttons on this shirt werent there. Im not upset that the button broke and I needed a replacement. Im not upset that LL Bean doesnt have additional replacement buttons. Im very irritated at the person that handled my chat support and I will no longer be a customer.

This store consistently gives great customer service in every area. My most recent transaction involved monogramming and out-of-state mailing. Jan and Jocelyn were amazing! So happy that there’s an LL Bean store in the Pittsburgh area.

I went in to kill some time, the gentleman walked up and talked to me. He treated me so nice and genuinely laughed at me jokes so I purchased $35.00 worth of lures when I can really string them myself. I cant remember his name. Peyton behind the cash register was the kindest lady Ive ever met. I suggest Corporate promote them both so that they can train future K.L. Bean employees. Keep up the good work guys. Ill be back.

We went looking for a college winter boots and coat & hit the jackpot! As soon as we walked in, they were set up with hand sanitizer etc and a very nice employee helped us find what we needed. We were in and out quickly. I was happy about that since we are still limiting our time in public spaces!

Very organized and stocked, not really my kinda store but if its your kinda thing they do have a lot of options.

I felt I was racially profiled at this store where I came in to do an exchange. An employee who was walking opposite to me outside the store turned around and followed me into the store. He continued to follow me inside the store so I turned around and said Since youre following me, could you show me where I can find this jacket? (pointing to my previously purchased item.) He then led me to the rack, asked me my size and handed me the jacket. He didnt allow me to touch any merchandise or shop independently. The cashier was okay. On the way out another guy made a comment and I told him I just needed to do an exchange. He said I know, I saw you come in. Like how many eyes were on me in the store. I feared that someone was going to follow me out of the store, I was relieved driving out of that parking lot. I will not be returning to this store.

This was my first visit to L.L. Bean and I was pleasantly surprised. My wife and I both bought boots on sale here and we have both been very happy with our purchase. I would not say this is a place for the bargain shopper but if you are looking for superior quality for a fair price, then look no further. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

They sell original clothing and shoes and the quality of everything is so high that you are willing to pay a little more for something that will probably last forever. Huge variety of coats, snow boots and equipments for several types of sports.Im giving 4 stars due to lack of attendance from the team (few individuals attending), credit card machine with old technology (didnt accept my chip card, had to pay in cash). Great place to shop for outdoor activities such as camping, hiking etc. Costs may be slightly higher than some stores, but the superb quality of their goods definitely outweighs the mark-up. If you do stop here to shop, make sure to get a photo of the Big Boot outside the store :)

I love LL Bean! The clothing is well-made and durable (but it does run big Ive noticed), and they have some really nice camping/outdoors stuff. My absolute favorite item is the moccasins - they are literally the greatest shoe ever. I wear them all the time and they last a long time considering how much Ive put them through. It is very expensive though.

Very interesting and cool store. Basically Cabellas in business casual. Pricey but thats to be expected given the brand and quality of items. The adventure gear is pretty decent but the casual wear is fantastic.

L.L. Bean offers a great line of men and womens clothing, shoes and sporting goods for outdoor adventures. This location is conveniently located within Ross Park Mall with ample parking. The kids enjoy seeing the fish swimming in the fish tank.

Ross Park Mall - 10 days before Christmas - NOTHING on sale, NOTHING reduced in this store. So I went to Eddie Bauer and bought 2 down coats and BOTH were on sale. Sorry, not sorry LLBean!

Their products are expensive. They have 2 banks of registers, one upstairs and one down but despite my visit during the holiday season they were not running the upstairs registers despite a very long line at the ones downstairs. They have elevators if you are not into climbing the giant center stair case. The selection in store is a small sample of what their web site and catalogs offer. If you want one of their bikes, kayaks or you want to go on an outdoor adventure the store is a better bet than their web site or catalogs though!

This is a pretty nice store with a wide selection from actual gear, including bikes and Kayaks to clothes. However, since the company stopped there not questions asked return policy I find myself shopping elsewhere more often.

The quality of the products at L.L. Bean are hard to beat. The prices are typically pretty steep, but if you come on a day with a sale or have a coupon, the prices are comparable to other outdoor/camping stores.

Allot of nice stuff, but expensive. They are not the ultimate in outdoor gear but can get you started if you are willing to pay their prices. Much of the stuff you find there with the exception of stuff labeled LLBean can be found at many other places for at least 20% cheaper.But it is a nice store with great service and liberal return policies.Dont forget to check their online store for a bigger selection.One other thing, their clothing line has a tendency to run small. I usually have to buy one size bigger than Id buy normally.
