This is one of my favorite places in Pittsburgh! You can find almost any movie or game here at unbelievably low prices, and if they dont have it, the knowledgeable staff will find it for you. Either at another location or ordering it, theres little you cant get to hands on. Also, there have collectibles to make the nerd part of anyone happy.

They took a few of my CDs, but were definitely very VERY strict on what they would take. I brought in a DSi that had a dead battery and they plugged it in for about 30 seconds then tried powering it on, of course it didnt work, then told me the charging port was dead. Unfortunately, the customer service I received was courteous, but the employees were clearly rushing through it all.

Always good stuff at the exchange. Went here and now my girlfriend can finally charge her old DS lite again after a few years. Go to this place if you want video games old and new, music and much more

Always a good time here. I find something great every time, and if I want it amd they dont have it, they make it happen! Shout to the liberty ave. Downtown location, the staff is awesome.

Went there the other day to get a used 3ds game, when I got home to try it out I come to find that the chipbored was visibly fried, I called and let them know and they were willing to give me a different copy. service was good just you would think they would of noticed that before they bought the game off of someone to resell

Shady. Took in an Xbox to sell. Worked the night before. Employee said it wouldntt boot up and couldn’t take it because of that.I live two blocks away. Came home plugged it in and works just fine. Called to inform them and he says yeah I still wouldn’t take it. Just give the real reason instead of making up lies. It’s never had an issue and still doesn’t. Will never patronize this places in any way shape or form! Go to Eides everyone!

Went today and traded a game. Customer service was outstanding. They worked with me, something gamestop would never do. If i could i would purchase any and all equioment and video game related anything from this company. 5 stars without thinking about it.

Although selection can at times be very limited they are always very willing to help and very willing to try and get supplies from other stores to assist you

Staff was friendly and I got exactly the help I needed when I was looking for a good price on a DS XL My girlfriend also recently purchased a gameboy advanced from another one of their locations and even though she may have gotten a slightly better price online, she chooses the exchange for the warmth of staff, and their ability to accurately represent their product.

Check out their record selection, they have a 50¢ part with decent vinyls to choose from

If youre selling stuff--CDs, DVDS/Blu-rays or collectibles--be very careful at Exchanges. They usually pay very little/a dollar or two for DVD series/season sets or 20¢ to $1 for DVD movies/CDs even worse--maybe 20¢ to $1 for CDs/25¢ to 50¢ for Blu-rays/then they usually re-sell the stuff@high prices in their stores/if they make an offer try and ask for more because they are allowed to go higher then the buy offers on their computer screens/Buyers are usually younger people/often they wont buy items if they have the same item(s) in their stores/check online buyers if you have time or several other independent stores in area, if possible, especially if you want fair market value cash offers/Liberty Avenue Exchange store has a friendlier staff than a lot of other area Exchanges/downtown Exchanges are closed on Sundays and close early afternoons on Saturday/open weekdays till 7PM

Dont ever buy a used PS4 controller from here..I paid $50.00 on Friday 7th 2018... and the controller wont even charge so pretty much useless guess i lost $50....
