Visited the Shadyside location to pick up some wiring for a modest 5.1.2 setup I recently purchased in order to ditch an old sound bar and integrate some already-owned speakers into a 7.1.2 system with a Yamaha receiver. I called ahead of my visit and spoke with Gloria, who answered my questions satisfactorily and prompted my visit.I dealt with Joe, who was very patient and knowledgeable, and provided me with everything I needed--ample speaker wire, an rca splitter, several banana plugs...along with a brief tutorial and some weigh-in on my questions.I am quite pleased with my new setup, and very appreciative of the service I received! I am used to home system retailers having little patience with customers not flashing hundreds (or thousands!) of dollars when discussing their needs, and can confidently say that the experience I had here put many other locations to shame--especially in light of the modest purchase I made.If I decide to REALLY go all out with a home theater setup in the future, I will certainly put this company on my short list!

Tried to shop at this store and the parking lot attendant literally came in and interrupted my husband while he was talking to the salesperson to accuse him of parking in the lot illegally. This was AFTER the attendant had chased me down for walking out of the plaza to run into Schillers to pick up something for the severe anxiety attack I was in the middle of experiencing. The businesses in the Shadyside Village Plaza need to do something about this horrible attendant before he costs them any more business. We will NOT be back and won’t recommend anyone to any businesses in that plaza.

Listen Hear did a large scale installation of audio visual equipment, smart home technology and video surveillance in our residence. We have always been pleased by their work especially their professionalism and responsiveness. They are always available for support after the job is completed which is so important. Listen Hear has also wired two of our investment properties.

After reviewing several quotes for installation of home theatre systems in our basement, and media room, I was glad we went with Listen Hear. Mike Klein was exceptionally professional and resourceful. Always available even after hours. Worked around our schedules to get the job done. They worked through COVID with constant sanitizing and masks. The Atmos systems they installed (Paradigm/antem/ Samsung) in basement and media room (Yamaha / Klipsch / Samsung) sounds great. Very professional job. Highly recommended.

The folks at Listen Hear installed a Sonos system for me. I have wired ceiling Sonos in my first floor so this was not your average installation. The team was great to work with. The value I received is amazing. I listen to my system daily whether Im streaming talk radio or cranking up some old fashioned rock n roll. Great job. I highly recommend these folks.

It was Sunday morning and my wife was preparing for a Birthday celebration that evening. Wanting to put on some Christmas music she found that our Sonas connection was not working. After a period of time with no luck in making the system work she reluctantly called James from Listen Hear to solicit his help.With the voices of his kids in the background he took a half hour of his time on a Sunday morning to help fix the problem. I have worked with this company on many different large scale projects. They always find a way to realize the vision of the customer and commit themselves to the job until it is 100% flawless. I’ve had them install custom remote gate systems, security cameras, whole house audio, custom tv’s etc. etc.

The entire experience with Listen Hear was great. They mounted a wall TV, and installed a Sonos sound system and Netgear Orbi WiFi system. It was a pleasure dealing with project manager Michael Altieri, and programmer/project manager James Mayer. These guys are pros who know what they are doing. The TV installation was better than expected with no visible cords or cable box. I am very pleased with the Sonos sound system and I now have great WiFi throughout my house. James gave me a good tutorial on the Sonos, answered all my questions, and proactively adjusted everything that needed to be done on my iMac, iPhone, iPod, Netflix, Apple TV and Bose Wave Radio system.Everything was covered in a timely fashion without a hitch. Highly Recommend without reservation.
