She introduced me to a something I wasnt expecting, we test drove it, and I ended up liking that car. Helped me get my loan and insurance too. Great dealership!

My wife & I were looking at upgrading to a vehicle with 3rd row seating. I emailed Rick Hess, and addressed any questions that came to mind. Rick emailed me back rather quickly, and we set up an appointment to come look at a pilot (EX-L). Rick had one sitting out front, ready for us to look at and test drive. Rick went over all the main features, and safety features (which is a lot, and most standard across the board). I was blown away with all the features. He got us a plate, and sent us on our way for a test drive. The quality of Honda is remarkable, I couldn’t believe how smooth the pilot was. Of course, we did talk numbers after the test drive, and honestly didn’t have any intentions on buying the same day. Rick came through with upfront pricing, no hidden fees/costs, and it was a no brainer. This was absolutely the most wonderful experience I’ve encountered at a dealership. Absolutely no pressure, and strong professionalism. I strongly recommend Dean Honda, and Rick Hess!

Took a RTL this morning . Very Satisfied for all services, careful, detailed, fast. I visit Dean Honda last Thursday and got the car this week, unbelievable in now shortage situation. I drove 1 hour with my family to this showroom day before yesterday after taking an appointment, reached on time but we did not get any help from these guys. Just got the keys to see the vehicle. We were just waiting for somebody to provide some information on availability and features. Nobody shown up, we were just roaming inside to get help. Its was so embarrassing. Handed over the keys at reception and came back. Wasted almost 3 hours and the evening for nothing. Not recommended.

Being more than 400 miles from home, having a car emergency is the last thing anyone wants to deal with. Dean Honda contacted us before we even got to the dealership on Monday morning (our car was towed to them Saturday night after hours). We explained our situation and the Service Department could not have been more accommodating. They took care of us immediately and we were back on the road in 2 hours. Thankfully it was an easy fix. I did not get the names of the gentlemen who helped us but Im sure everyone in the Service Department would be as professional and helpful as those with whom we dealt. Very much appreciated!

Dean Honda is the best place to shop for your next vehicle. Louis, from the sales department made this experience a pleasant one, by making me feel comfortable, unlike the experience I had at a different dealership. Louis was patient, friendly and helpful, demonstrating all of the car features and didn’t pressure me which further made me feel I was choosing the right dealership and car for me. Additionally, the manager and finance department worked with me to get best price, interest rate and monthly payment that I was looking for. I highly recommend Dean Honda to anyone who is looking to purchase a car, they are friendly, understanding and patient. Finding a better dealership than Dean Honda will be difficult to do.

BE INFORMED - AT LEAST ONE MANAGER USES STEREOTYPICAL HIDE-THE-BALL TACTICSIn short, a manager and salesman at this dealership did not inform me of the Honda Loyalty Appreciation Offer I was eligible to receive and tried to pocket it as profit without disclosing this to me.Although there are several Honda dealerships in our area, what brought me there was their participation in the Costco Auto Buying program, where in exchange for leads they had agreed to fixed pricing in relation to invoice cost of vehicles. I had sent an inquiry regarding a 2022 Pilot and had been in contact with one of their salesmen.Prior to visiting, I had submitted information to value and receive offers on my potential trade, independent of my purchase interest. In response, someone different from Dean Honda’s purchase department contacted me interested in purchasing my vehicle at the KBB estimated value of $26,300 (this included my submitting photos and disclosing some door dings/scratches).When visiting the dealership to test drive the 2022 Pilot and allowing them to inspect my vehicle, the salesman handed me a KBB form offering me $26,195 for my vehicle, assuring me that Dean Honda was giving me the fair market value for my vehicle. When I asked about the reduction from the original $26,300 offered by the dealership, he said that the value was slightly reduced based on the cost to repair some of the dings/scratches (fair enough - had no problem with that).I then asked the salesman for the Costco program price for the Honda Pilot. Instead of providing the pricing sheet in accordance with the Costco program rules, he showed me a page in a binder showing the amount over invoice his dealership had committed to under the Costco program (not how it should be presented, but not a huge deal).While he was getting a write-up from the manager, I then asked if my understanding was correct that Honda manufacturer incentives were independent of the Costco pricing. He confirmed that they were. I then asked if the Loyalty Appreciation Offer could be applied to the vehicle price, as well, as I met the criteria. The salesman said he wasnt sure if this incentive was applicable to the 2022 models but would check if the the vehicle I was interested in was eligible.When the salesman returned, with him was a manager. The manager sat down and said he had heard we were asking about the Loyalty Appreciation Offer and then informed us that he had “already given that to us in the trade-in offer.” I immediately expressed dismay and displeasure, telling him that he should have disclosed this and can’t ethically use such a tactic. He smugly responded by saying “we can do whatever we want with it . . . it is our money” (yes - that is a direct quote). In both trade offers, they made no mention of this offer being subsidized by the Honda Loyalty Appreciation Offer, obviously keeping me unaware of it so they could keep it as profit. My wife and I immediately gathered my things and left, expressing my displeasure to the salesman as he handed me my keys on my way out. He told me he understood and was not going to defend the manager’s tactic.This whole experience has me reluctant to go back to any Honda dealership if this is what Honda allows managers to do with what Honda advertises as customer loyalty rebate, rather than a dealer incentive. Im hoping this is not the case and that this dealership did not act in accordance with Hondas intent and instructions. I would have thought that such tactics would no longer be tried in an age of transparency and information readily available to consumers, especially at a Honda dealership.

Went out today at 6pm based on good reviews and 2 referrals. Girlfriend and I were interested in a Pilot. Walked around the lot twice. Then went inside and walked around. 1st time in a dealership that no one approached us. With only 1 other couple inside we figured one of the other 3-4 salesman would ask us if we had any questions. (We had many). They just continued to chat w/each other, so we grabbed a brochure on the Pilot and left. Also whats the point of having a receptionist at the front desk if she is just going to keep her head down and do her crossword puzzle?I fully understand if it was a busy day. They just came off like they were just hoping the day would end. Based on our experience today, well just take our business elsewhere. Its unfortunate because of the positive reviews and our 2 referrals who highly recommended this dealership.

We travel round trip 800 miles after having some issues with the dealership they were corrected through our local Honda dealership and Dean Honda paid for the repairs as they said they would.UPDATE Thank you Dean Honda for standing by your word the truck looks great and you did as you said you would. I recently purchased a new CR-V from Dean Honda and had an overall great experience! Bob S. in sales and Dan in finance made sure I was informed about both aspects of the car buying process. There was no pressure and they were very helpful. Every employee that I came into contact with during my visit was courteous. Just bought a 2020 Honda Ridgeline from Dean Honda in Pleasant Hills, PA. Dealt with Rick Hess. Ive purchased a number of cars and motorcycles over the years, and Rick made this the easiest experience to date. I had been to numerous Honda dealerships over the course of the year trying to find this specific truck, and talked with at least four other sales people. They were either too pushy, or showed no enthusiasm at all. Rick was perfect. Finally, there were some questions I had post-purchase, and Rick replied to my texts within minutes. Go get yourself a Honda and ask for Rick!

We just purchased our 2021 Honda Pilot from Deans Honda and can’t say enough great things!! Bob Poroda is a fantastic guy and he took his time helping us decide which trim would be best for us, we weren’t rushed and nothing about the process was pushy. We were able to take all pricing with us to help with our purchasing decision too. No hiding the numbers, he was very upfront with us and not once but twice walked us through all the features of the car to make sure we were completely comfortable with our purchase before leaving the lot. Deans also has several perks when you buy a car with them like lifetime inspections, free car washes, one free oil change, etc.

I purchased a 2020 awd-e Prius from Dean Hondas pre-owned lot in Pittsburgh, and had a very positive experience with the staff there, particularly Mohammed Khaleel, my salesperson. But once I drove home (3 hours away), the tire pressure light was on, and when I took the car to my local Toyota dealer, they indicated that the tire pressure sensors were incompatible with the car, and needed to be replaced. That was a big expense, and I contacted Dean Honda to see if they would cover the cost. I anticipated a protracted conflict, but instead they handled the situation in spectacular fashion. Once they ascertained that the problem was legitimate, they agreed to cover the replacement cost, and they followed through by sending a check as soon as I verified the work was complete. Thats the kind of customer service that makes me want to continue doing business with an organization, and I want to publicly thank Dean Honda for their attentiveness and professionalism.

I bought my Honda CRV at Dean’s at the end of 2019 because a poor deer hit my last one. The salesman was knowledgeable and courteous but down to earth and easy to talk to. I was very happy with my CRV and all went well. Then Covid-19 hit in 2020 and by the time I needed my first inspection things were serious. Because of preexisting conditions and my allergies to medication that I would have to take would I catch COVID I was petrified to go get my CRV inspected. So I called service and spoke with a manager that arranged for the Service department to pick up my vehicle at my home, inspected it and returned it to me. The service supervisor was so helpful and understanding. Unbelievable!!! With all the ugliness that at times surrounds us now a ray of light blessed me with this incredible gesture. I will be forever grateful for what they did for me and as I love my Hondas I will most definitely always shop here for my next one. I hope that I don’t have to ask again this year but even if they couldn’t do it again now I am still so very grateful. What a pleasant place to buy a vehicle, I’ve never said that before!!!

Went today July 19th for my scheduled appointment at 9 am.for an oil change WAS TOLD if I waited it would take about an hour and half. Ok I said. Well at 11 am I went to check on my vehicle and saw it parked in the lot, assuming it was finished and I was waiting on paperwork. WRONG! Not even started on it due to being short staffed and taking in a fleet of cars that they started to take care of Not once did they come to let me know. Personally I think they forgot about it I will NEVER GO BACK TO DEAN HONDA again. I used to tell people how great they where, well now I am saying how poor their service is.

My poor car Rosie Ralley Red 2001 Honda Civic EX was 19 years old. After Inspection things were not going right for her.Her Steering was losing fluid and when we thought that was fixed I turned on her engine to take her home but it quit.The Timing Belt got oil in it and the casing was cracked and so this Sunday we will give her THE BEST Car Funeral!NO ONE laughed! It wasnt treated as a joke.Everyone there knows me and my Dad and Rosie!We were offered 2 used cars a black 2 door and a 4 door Modern SteelDad liked the 4 door he wanted it for me.Its bitter sweet. Sad about Rosie but Happy for Modern Steel Grey Hawk!This car you can tell is a Guy Car!Rosie wanted to die among friends and her brothers and sisters. I am at Peace with that.

Lou was vigilant in answering any questions about the car I purchased, and provided me with information that I didn’t even know to ask for but was extremely useful. In addition, Fred—the individual who appraised my trade in—actually came out and talked to me and made sure I was comfortable with the amount. The whole experience from start to finish felt very personal. I genuinely think part of me just bought this car because I really appreciated the way the entire team treated me. Even the finance guy was personable; which I feel is quite uncommon. If you’re looking for a sales guy I HIGHLY recommend Lou! Bob Poroda was very helpful in finding my new used car. I was in a bind when my car broke down and couldnt get it fixed. So I found a car on Dean Honda website and called to inquire about the car. He said that it hadnt been certified yet but I could come to see the car anyway. So my mom and me went and looked at and took a test drive and ended up purchasing the car. He explained all that needed to be done to the car and the sorts to purchase the car. He was very through.

I had a great experience at Dean Honda. I had to get a safety recall taken care of, as well as state inspection. Matt was very helpful and didn’t push me to get any work done, but explained the important things to get done. It took 5 hours to get everything done, which was a lot less time than I expected, and it wasn’t too pricey.It was a little difficult to maintain social distancing as the waiting room got a little busier, but it was a nice waiting room.I’m definitely going to go back to Dean Honda for the service and inspections for my car from now on.

If you are looking at buying or leasing a car, go to Dean Honda and ask for Rick H. I just turned in my Toyota Camry for a brand new CRV and Ill never go back to Toyota. Rick was a great salesman, truly appreciate everything he did for me. He wasnt pushy, he talked me through the entire process and discussed what options I had available. It truly felt like Rick was working for me and not trying to sell me the most expensive car. I will certainly go back to Dean next time around.

Always a good experience at Dean getting my oil changed in my Honda Civic. I feel like they keep my car in great working order. Also send coupons which is a great perk. I also like getting the free car wash. Erica is awesome- very helpful!

I love the hrv sport it took 3 weeks to get it as during this time all dealerships are struggling to receive there inventory. I went back and forth with my decisions because I needed a vehicle but I had a great salesman Dave Holland kept me on track with my first decision the hrvsport was my first pick but I was becoming desperate looking at different trims and models Dave knew what car I wanted and he deliverd the minute he got the call that it landed it was a painful process but it was out of everyones control and I had to realize I was one of millions of people going through the same thing at the end of the day it was worth the wait Dave treats you like a friend and made it alot easier thank you Dave Holland and Dean Honda.
