This review deals strictly with customer service, and not with quality of workmanship, as my project never got to that stage. Dropped off two decorative pillows in June/July for recovering. Pretty straightforward job; I even provided the fabric. Owner said he is always very busy, and I should check back in a couple of months. Summer ended, and in mid-October I stopped in to see where things stood. They literally were in the exact same place they were when I dropped them off over the summer. I asked him when I could expect them to be worked on, and he said hell put them on his list. Were they not on his list the entire time? I asked him if a month was enough time, and he said it should be. I said I would be back to pick them up November 15th, whether they were done or not. Of course, they werent done when I went in this evening. What upset me the most was his comment Well, now I have one less thing to worry about. Really? On top of that, he wasnt wearing a mask, and didnt put one on as he handed the pillows over to me. Im sure his work is excellent, otherwise he wouldnt have such a backlog, but his customer service skills could use a major reupholstering.
Over the last five years, we have had many pieces of furniture reupholstered by Lou at Best Impressions. We could not be more pleased. His work is amazing. Lou just rebuilt and recovered in leather four antique dining room chairs for us. They are absolutely beautiful!!!! I will never go anywhere else.
