Lennon the store Manager is disrespectful and rude. Lennon would not honor the advertised price and was a nasty person to deal with. With the corporate office called him he didnt care and refused to honor the advertised price which absolutely does NOT say online exclusive. I spoke to their corporate office and they also tried to communicate that information to Lennon but Lennons reply was he wasnt calling anyone and if anyone wanted to speak with him then to call him. Lennon is an Assistant Manager with a poor attitude and horrible disposition. Richard is the District Manager who in turn supported this disgusting display of behavior from over the phone. In addition he did no research himself to verify that it was in fact not an online exclusive. The customer service representative issued a case number and sent screen shots to support that the advertised price was exactly as stated but both refused to view or revisit their decision. I would encourage anyone and everyone to not support stores that do not have integrity nor do they honor advertised pricing, ESPECIALLY when customer service from their company ask them to. Lennon and Richard shame on you for being horrible customer service representatives.

*This particular BigLots store on Yorba Linda Blvd./Rose Dr. in Placentia far exceeded our expectations. The staff was super friendly. When asked about the locations of stationary and toaster ovens, she stopped immediately what she was doing to take us to those separate aisles. We got the highlighters right away but lingered quite a while as there were so many different kinds (brands, functions, sizes, and pricings) of toaster ovens [regular, digital, w/ convection, w/ air-fryer & convection] on display to choose from! It was indeed a very pleasant shopping experience!! Highly recommended!!

Terrible, they show the furniture but when I wanted to buy it, they didnt have it in stock.They only good thing was the assitant manager, he was nice trying to find stores with the furniture that we wanted.

Customer service was lacking. I didnt know how far it actually was so, by the time I arrived it was too late for curbside. I went in and stood in line waiting for the customer in front of me (because there was only two other people in line and maybe five people total in the store) who was having credit card processing issues. A woman who had been waiting before I arrived, had gotten out of line and was wondering through the store. When she saw me, she approached and asked if I was awaiting a price check. With numerous employees in the store, why was there a line for so long behind the lady? I told the clerk that I was there for pick up and he said, just a minute and Ill help you after Im done with this customer. He wasnt helping her either. He was waiting for someone else to come help her while my package was less than 10 feet from where we were standing. The gentleman ahead of me put his items down and walked out of the store. The clerk called someone after another five minutes or so to aide him with the customer having credit card issue. Then that person called me over to help me at another check out. He asked my name twice even though I had the email with the barcode on it. Another person came to assist him handing me my package that was arms reach from me.A twenty minute wait for one item. That was on a rack near the next check out desk while ppl stood around helping no one.The 3 stars is because they had the item that I had been searching for and it was a good quality item.

If you like bargains, you will LOVE this place. There are some brands youve never heard of, but for the most part, these prices on brand-name items are insane! You cant always get what you want, but I can usually find things I didnt know I needed. Highly recommended. : -)

Not as good as it used to be!! A lot of their stuff is of inferior quality.I E I was looking for an ice tea pitcher. They offered a no name brand with a flimsy lid for $6.00. Target offers a larger Rubbermaid with a nice lid for less than $4.00. Their prices on coffee and candy are also higher than what you can find anywhere else.

Big lots....what can I say. Formerly pic n save in the 80s. U gotta love it man, their own toilet paper brand is legit! Love their outdoor garden dept, lots of great seasonal items.

I love the Big Lots corner of rose and Yorba Linda Boulevard. Its huge and theyre always well-stocked. I go in there for a few things and never fails, I come out with an entire cart full as theres so many good bargains whether its household needs or gift and super great deals on pet items, everything from outfits to potty pads to toys. Ive just always learned with clearance items to check expiration dates especially with edibles. This particular location also has a nice display of furniture and rolled up rugs.

My girlfriend has an irrational hatred of this business for some strange reason and I cannot explain it.

This place is clean and fully stocked. They have everything for a good price. They dont cary much organic or vegan products but no surprise their. The staff is so nice and welcoming. Every employee I passed by said hello and offered to help. Everything is so clean and put in place. Its the 1st big lots I been were its not run down and messy. I would definitely come back to shop for more things for my house. They have a lit of cute and inexpensive home decor. Stuff you would find at home goods for half the price.

Ive always liked Big Lots. I always find good deals on food, drinks, toiletries, and garden tools and decorations. Occasionally they have a 20% discount day on most items. Worth a look.

The place looked dirty. The bathroom did not have paper towels to dry your hand. And the guy at the check out was all coughing. And we couldnt fine anything we went in for.

I like this Big Lots out of most locations I have been to. I know where things are and the shelves are stocked well. Pick and choose what is a deal and what isnt...just like their name used to be Pic n Save.....some items are a good deal, some they compare to other places with little discount.I love to get the 96 count Box of coffee Kcups there because it is 29.99 or less for them. It is the best price and the coffee is great!

Its not bad. the aisles are abnormally narrow here, but its everything you need in a hurry and on the cheap... occasionally you find a nice gem of a buy there, and always great for seasonal decor.

This Big Lots is across the street and down-the-way just a bit from a 99c Only Store. That 99c Store has a really well-stocked toy section. I like to go there and get s beer off the shelf. I put the beer into a freezer then go peruse the toys for a while. There are two toy sections - one at the right side of the store, the other in the center.By the time I finish with the toys I retrieve my beer which is usually a bit colder than not. I then go tail gate in the parking lot before I walk over to Big Lots to see what they have going on.

Was not impressed with this Big Lots. Its very old, the whole thing does not fit in with the area at all. Needs a total face lift and alot of help inside. It seemed like it had less merchandise inside than other big lots, leaving you without as many options. I did like the items I found, and could have spent a couple hundred dollars easily, as I could just about anywhere. The people that work there were not very helpful or accomodating, and I wasnt expecting great service but they barely served a purpose of being there. I just was not impressed with any of it.

It seemed a bit messy but looked like one guy was restocking. I checked out, the lady seemed a bit rude. I couldnt hear her and I said excuse me, she answered back with some attitude. But oddly, as I was walking out, I heard her speak Spanish loud and clear. So why couldnt she speak up in English. I dont make much money but amazing customer service goes a long way.

That store is very dated and not well stocked, but employees are friendly and helpful. I rarely find anything good at Big Lots, but stop by to check it out whenever I see one.

Wow! I did not realize how many deals I could get here! Shower gel, hand soap, deodorant, dryer sheets, brand name dog food, bird seed, pillows, towels, sheets and so much more....all at super bargain prices.

I want to give a shout-out to both Hamie and Manny in the furniture department. They both provided excellent customer service to me when I purchased my furniture. They were extremely helpful when I had any questions about the items I was thinking to purchase. I was not sure if a sectional I liked was going to fit in my living room? They were able to provide me with the dimensions and I was able to confirm with the apartment manager it would fit. I now have a nice sectional, dresser and table that I can enjoy. Thanks again for all your help and providing excellent customer service! Keep up tbe good work! Oh by the way the store is organized and very clean! 😊 One happy customer.

The store looked pretty thrashed. Shelfson one side of the store, the shelfs were totally thrown all over. The store over all sloppy.

What can I say about Big Lots? Sometimes you find some really great stuff. Sometimes you find stuff at a higher price than you find in the regular store. You have to be a Savvy Shopper but, when you are Big Lots is a great place to shop.

There arent any deals at Big Lots. They charge as much as some of your better stores charge.

But I overheard a Manager named Jose speaking rudely/belittling/degrading to one of his employees. That is a bad customer service and a horrific experience to see how low-paying employees are treated. Managers should be respectful and courteous to all vendors, customers and employees. If this continues, I would tell my family members and friends not to shop there at Big Lots in Placentia off Yorba Linda due to this bad experience. I am very disgusted by his ride behavior. Needed to find something quickly and Victoria was extremely helpful and even carried my purchase to my car, which was waiting for flat tire repair.

Workers were pretty rude to me. I live close to the store so its convenient for me but if I get one more bad look or another rude checker Im not going back.

I paid a fair price for a couch here. Helpful staff. Inventory is hit and miss.

I dont know why I even walk in to this store anymore. Well really, Ive only gone in twice in the last two years. Both times I left empty handed.I loved Pic n Save, but big lots is over priced junk, in my option. I can find comparabley priced items on sale at Kohls. And even the cleaning products are better bought at the 99c store. just my 2cents

Over the years, this corporation has changed its business plan. No longer for the bargain hunter, most overruns and unsold lots of name brand merchandise are slowly being replaced with goods made for Big Lots in China. Sometimes you may find a deal, but the prices are about the same as Walmarts and seem to be climbing all the time. Usually I walk away disappointed.

This store has horrible customer service. The so called manager made me wait on the phone over ten minutes two different times, first time I hung up second time he sounded annoyed and made me wait just admitted Long for item availability.
