I went in for a oil change and they found that a sensor on the tires needed to be changed on two of them. Took a few hours because they were busy. When everything was done the light for the tire sensor was still on. Michael was absolutely amazing. He kept working with recalibrating them to get the light to turn off. I was concerned about the grease and with COVID. So he kept wiping everything down with Clorox to sanitize it for me. I greatly appreciate it. I hope his supervisor reads this.

Incredible service here and very professional. My car needed an inspection all around to include new brakes and rotors and Mike took care of me very fast. Got my car in at 830 and they had it diagnosed and parts ordered in 2 hours. Install took even less time. No games, straightforward, with a great price. Really appreciate the service. Mike is dialed in.

Ive been a customer of this location since 1992, and have seen many changes during those years. Tom C. gave us excellent service for the 4 vehicles we have in our family. Ronnie continued to offer the care and service that weve come to expect from Big O, as a former employee of store #5100, the bar has been set high for other locations to measure up to. Unfortunately our most recent experiences attempting to do business with this store werent positive ones.

On the way out of town to flee the smoke, we had a nail in our tire in a precarious spot. It was 5:30pm. Despite the fact they were busy with other jobs, Jeff and Steven jumped into action and patched the tire and topped off air in the other three. All by 6:00pm closing time.Thanks for the great service!!Truly superb!!

The assistant manager was very nice and helpful. The computer they hooked up to my car said a internal engine PROBLEM they said it was fixed $900.00 but when picked up it was worse then when we took it in. Mike the assistant Manager said to let him look at it. So we left it with them. Got a call a hour later to come get my car. It was a spark plug that was gapped wrong. Thank You Mike

The costs and quality of service are very fair and the teams seems very attentive to providing great service.I just got back from Big O after getting new snow tires for my truck. Didn’t even put the spare where it belongs… Telling me I won the alignment and then coping out with my truck is too big for the machine. Also that no one In the are has a machine big enough, well Toyota did it no problem on theirs and was surprised you couldn’t do it…

I came in for an alignment insisting that I did not currently have enough money for a diagnostic. They werent able to align due to some necessary repairs, but they were kind enough to take me into the garage and point out exactly which parts had play and give me a writeup estimate for repairs, FOR NO CHARGE. Thank you for your time and patience Big O. Youre great.

I had bought tires from big o and on installing them they had scratched up my rims . This had happened before the COVID-19 pandemic. They had said that they would replace the rims they scratched but the rims I had where out of stock . So I decided to go get a similar pair of rims this weekend and I contacted the manager Jeff and even after all this time he honored his word to make right and reimburse me for the two rims that they scratched. Will go back to the big o in placerville and really appreciate them making things right ...

I have always loved Big O Tires in Placerville. Today I had a flat so I got four new tires. My tires were old so it was time for a new set. Josh was so helpful and knowledgeable. He is so typical of the type of friendly and great customer service I always find at this tire store. I recommend Big O! Their service time is very reasonable, especially if you have to wait in the store.

We needed work quick, was able to bring our 4Runner aligned and tires rotated. Was able to bring it in, leave it, done same day. And they got it right - the other Big O down the hill wouldn’t work on our 86. Definitely recommend.

Went in for an alignment on my 08 GMC 1 ton pickup. Waited 1.5 hrs and was told their air compressor was down. They could not complete my alignment. No big deal….. they offered half off if I came back when their equipment was fixed. Then the tire delivery truck pulls in and blocks my truck in the shop for another 20 min. Finally I leave with nothing. I called a week later and the compressor still wasn’t fixed. Told me they’d call me when it was fixed. 2 weeks later…and nothing. Went to les shwab and had it done last week. Poor customer service to say the least.

Great customer service! Right as I entered the store to have a leak fixed I was greeted and helped right away. Not only did they get me squared away they also took the time to have a conversation with me to make my visit more personal. I would and am going to recommend them to my friends and family.

Manager severely misdiagnosed my vehicle and instead of accepting responsibility he decided to double down. Dont risk it, go somewhere else.On a separate note, they give a 10% discount if you give them a positive review so any positive review here has the potential to be biased.

A m a z i n g customer service.Fortunately this was not a daunting experience. I was helped by Josh and Michael who were both very communicative and specific about the inspection and services I needed. They werent pushy or impatient with my questions and were very accommodating on short notice..especially when I ended up working OT. Michael was kind enough to offer me a ride up the road back to my workplace (as my 30 min break was the only free time I had of the day) and drop off my vehicle, accompanied with Jeff, after hours.Im sure Thompsons couldve worked just as well with my truck, but I doubt the customer services wouldve been this welcoming and outstanding.Ill be back.

He was super nice and extremely helpful with my budget and did everything he possibly could to help. Came here originally because I had a discount I wanted to take advantage of and I’ve been back twice since then. These guys are absolute LEGENDS among men. We haven’t owned a car in about five years and as soon as we got one it broke down. We managed to get it into the Big O parking lot where Jeff and Josh stopped everything they were doing to assist my wife and I. These guys are the antithesis to the dodgy mechanic stereotypes that you hear about. Not only did they tell me what needed to be done but they told me why, they told me how, they told me how urgent it was, and most importantly they made sure that I understood the work that was going to be performed. As someone who is completely out of his element in an auto shop, these dudes know how to make you feel comfortable. Customer service is clearly a priority for these guys. Michael, always friendly. Jeff, super knowledgeable, and Josh is the multitasking god.

The guy at the counter helping people was NOT wearing a mask even when he got close to people. There were clear barriers at the counter but he wasnt behind it. Action like this is why this virus continues. I didnt like his attitude, felt like he was judging me from the moment I walked in. I went to les schwab and got my tires and much better service.

The young man that helped me, Michael, was extremely helpful and went out of his was to provide me with exceptional service (he wasnt aware of my opinion re: my last visit. Seem to have better staffing due to recent change in management. Many Groupon deals help with some costs. Not allowed to use a second deal I felt should apply, as oil change and new tires put on one work order instead of two. Lost $50 on expensive alignment. Good customer service from Frank, giving me as much discounting as he felt he could.

I had an issue with a set of tires with less than 7000 miles on them. Went in there not knowing what to expect as far as warranty servicing. The new manager and service writer stepped up and replaced all 4 tires with a prorated warranty. ( I did have to pay $300) I feel that I was treated in a very fair manner and will be going back to that store exclusively from now on.

Josh got me in from one call while on my lunch break took care of everything while I continued work and the tires and price were great.

I went in to get just an oil change and they charged me 82$ and took about an hour once my car got in. It takes me 30min by myself to do my own oil change once it’s going. They also tried to tell me about 10 different things needed to be repaired from my car. I will most likely never go back there again. New management is overpriced in my opinion

My wife went in this morning. We thought it may be a control arm or something expensive! It was $8.00 fix ! A bolt that is need for the brake pads to work! They fixed the car and got her back on the road safely!

I had the privilege of having my tires replaced by the Big O Tires in Placerville and they did a phenomenal job. This location has attentive employees that provide high level service and operate with a great sense of urgency. They made what would normally be a mundane task of getting tires replaced, pleasant and enjoyable.Look forward to continuing to do business here!

The service I received was phenomenal. Enzo was completely honest with me about pricing and what I needed done to my car. I informed him that I only wanted the tire replaced and he was very respectful and did not pressure me to have any other work done. I will NEVER go back. I went there after I called the store to see if they could assist with what was going on with my car. I felt confident that they would be able to help. The only thing that was completed was the alignment. They never even balanced the tires like they said they would do or completed any of the checks they were going to do as a courtesy. Checking the tires balance should have been one of the first things they did. Instead they pushed for services that were higher in cost that I needed, like new brakes and rotors. They went as far as to start higher in price and then continue to drop the price in hopes they could convince me to get the work done before I walked out the door. It was pathetic. They completed the alignment and nothing else. I ended up having to take my car somewhere else the next day. I confirmed from two separate companies that my brakes and rotors did not need to be replaced, even though the manager took me outside to show me and have me feel the rotors because they were so bad and a serious safety issue. They completely took advantage of the fact that the mechanics of a vehicle are not my area of expertise and tried to convince me to obtain unnecessary services. Complete distrust. They did the same thing to a family member a couple of years prior. I try to keep my business in town, so I thought Id give them a second chance. Absolutely not. I will never ever go back, nor will any of my friends or family.

Just moved to town. Got a coupon for a free oil change in the mail. Went today to try to use it and was told Id have to make an appointment and come back the next day. I live quite a ways away and that really wasnt an option. Theres also not one word about needing an appointment on the coupon. Ill find someplace else to have my oil changes done.
