What I love about Mattywags is its intergenerational flair. It is both delightfully nostalgic and contemporary artisan. I always find that unique treasure that is sure to please at a price point I can afford. Every time I come in - it is different - with new attractively displayed items. Another plus is that the charming owner will instantly put you at ease.

Such a cute shop! Debbie is super kind and energetic which brings a great vib to the shop. She helped me pick out my mother gift for mothers day. And even wrapped it super nicely!!! Cant wait to come back.

What a great little shop! Expertly curated. Mix of vintage housewares and new cards, candles, and trinkets. Creative and unique gifts. I walked out with some small, patterned gift boxes. Looking forward to visiting again next time Im in Placerville.

Owner would not get off of the phone in order to help customers. She was extremely unprofessional and kept on a personal conversation even though she had multiple people waiting on her to be rang up. She was so busy on the phone that she forgot to even give us back our credit card! Will never come back, and will warn others to do the same.
