Justin and Thomas did a Fantastic job with install. Looks great, works great, and you wouldnt know they were working. Everything was clean and Justin gave me a tour of the equipment and explained the operation and remote of the Fujitsu unit. Too bad they stopped doing solar. Gareth was great as well, again. Knowledgeable and professional.

John was friendly, courteous, clean, articulate, knowledgeable, quick. He had to do a routine maintenances arrived on time asked if he parked his van in a good spot. The BEST for value and professionalism! From Brad, my salesman to David M and his crew. Professional all the way through. Not only did they install an AC unit on my furnace and existing ducting, but also added slimline circuit breakers to make room for the AC power without having to add a new power panel. Then they built a stand for my outside compressor and fan unit. Not just flat on the ground but they took into consideration the snow fall potential in my area and made a raised platform to keep it out of the snow. They installed the entire system in 6 hours. I purchased solar from Gilmore 3 years ago. Over $50,000!!! I wanted to go with a one stop shop kind of company. Establish a relationship for home upgrade, was I wrong. Now they do not do solar anymore. I am having issues with my system now and I am out of luck. I now have to find a new company to pick up their work. So much for a 10 year warranty. That was only good for a few things. Now after the fact I find out. Definitely not how that was communicated during the sales appointment. Funny how that works.
Raul, was very thorough checking our AC system and cleaned the coils very well. I am impressed with Rauls professional service, especially with how he took his time to answer all of my questions from a customers perspective and the explanations were easy for me to grasp what he was talking about.
The reps for Gilmore were very professional! We had a 2day project and everyone involved was very polite and respectful of our property. Joe, Wyatt, Carlos, and one other gentleman worked very hard to get our new AC/heating unit installed. They walked us through all necessary details when needed, helped us understand our new thermostat, and answered any and all questions we had. For the most part we have been happy with Gilmore until we discovered that a special allergy filter was never installed 5 years ago. We paid for it and did not receive the filter. Joe was wonderful as he gave us a newer and better filter just yesterday at no charge. For 5 years we never knew there wasnt an allergy filter in our system. How do these things ever happen?

Jacob G. and David did a thorough job of removing our 17 year old, 5 ton air/heat unit and did a marvelous installation of a new 5 ton Heating and Air unit. Jacob explained the process and pointed out some code changes that had to be adhered in advance. They had to dismantle the old unit in the cramped attic and reassembled the new unit in its place. They had to build a new platform in the attic in place of the old inadequate, damaged one. I was amazed at the care both men took in quietly going about their business without marring any surfaces below. They were unable to finish in one day, so they left two portable air units so we could sleep comfortably overnight before an early start the next morning (grateful). They were neat, and cleaned up after the job. Great service is important to Jacob and he certainly walks the walk in that respect. We have, and continue to, recommend Gilmore to our friends and family. Cooling....Thank you Jacob and David.

All the technicians were very polite, on time, professional and cleaned up. The system they put in works great. They came out twice, once to install the system and 3 days later they came back to make a little tweak to the ducts. Now it works excellent. Also I had some empty boxes in my hall that need to go to recycle. They asked if they could take them for me. Wow, very good customer service. I will recommend Gilmore to my friend’s.
DO NOT USE THEIR PLUMBING SERVICE. They woman that does all the scheduling is super helpful and very nice and understanding. Plumbers suck! Expect to need to follow up constantly with them. They ended up coming out 3 time total. Initially failed the inspection for the water heater and after I called them 4 times trying to figure out when they were going to fix the issues they finally came out and fixed the. Expect a lot of excuses and a an unwillingness to do anything the way you want. For example, we had them install a new kitchen faucet. After installation we noticed it what hitting the tile. When they came out a second time I pointed it out the response was That will take a a couple of hours. When they came out a 3rd time it took him 15 minutes and now isnt hitting the tile but is at a strange angle.
We have had wonderful interaction and service from everyone at Gillmore. Today Jon W. was our Tech, he was very knowledgeable, respectful, personable and efficient at finding the issue we had. I would give him a 6 star rating, out of 5, over and beyond a good worker and all round good guy. Thanks BG

Gilmore was here to install a new water heater. They were very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend Gilmore. They also came about a week later to do a tune up on our air conditioner. While we werent thrilled with the results (need new unit), we were very happy with the service that was done. When we decide to purchase our new unit we will be giving Gilmore a call!

I was a regular Gilmore customer. So I called them when my heat pump started making loud noises. At that time, they charged $50 just to diagnose. The technician arrived. The heat pump was running. Without even seeing it, he heard it from a distance and said, Yep, its the compressor, and charged me $50! He didnt look at the unit and didnt have to lift a finger! Yes, he had the right to charge me but Gilmore advertises that they strive to Do whats right for the customer., no matter what it takes. In this case, doing the right thing wouldve been to waive the charge since no work was involved -- to promote good customer relationships. Ive not used them since.

Recently had these clowns out to my house to perform a seasonal tuneup. I kept seeing the commercials online and figured they seemed like a good family values kind of company. The initial interaction over the phone was pleasant, the technician that arrived at my home seem to be a nice guy. After trying to hard sell me a new piece of equipment knowing full well I didn’t need one, him and I got to talking for quite a while and he let me in on quite a few interesting tidbits about the Gilmore family and business.What a sad state of affairs this place is in, ever since the sun Darren took over, the place has gone completely downhill. Apparently he’s in and out of rehab constantly and an absentee owner. The entire place is dysfunctional and employees are leaving left and right. The technician advised me that they are only interested in selling people new equipment, they don’t really care about maintaining things, all they care about is the greed aspect of replacing a system. The technician told me that they were losing employees at an incredible rate, that the quality of their installs was so substandard that he was embarrassed to work there. I truly hope people read these reviews and look past the flashy commercials, and see what this company is really about. Avoid at all costs
It was hard to pull the trigger and purchase a whole new HVAC system but choosing Gilmore was effortless. From the very start we felt well taken care of. Our installers Justin and Tyler were true professionals. Friendly, prompt, clean and respectful of our home and time. I was glad to see the installation portion finished but sad that I will not be seeing Justin and Tyler! Gilmore they do your company proud!
Larry was scheduled to come out and do any drywall repair etc needed to make it all pretty. He had not been advised about what the job entailed, and didnt have his usual truck, so didnt have needed materials.This is the second time (out of four visits, total) that service personnel has come out not knowing what was needed or having sufficient materials on hand.Everyone is pleasant and professional, but Gilmore would benefit by better internal communication.

Excellent and timely service. Great post review with pictures. One of my primary needs was to better understand the air side economizing capabilities of my system. Unfortunately, after inspection I was informed that they don’t service or have any expertise with the operation of these systems. Their recommendation was to contact the installer. So, the overall service was good but did not meet my one of my primary needs. I wil certainly use them again.

We just had a Tankless waterheater installed by Gilmore Heating • Air • Plumbing. This is one of the most Professional companies I have had the pleasure of working with. It started out with contacting the very helpful office staff! Melissa was quick in scheduling an estimate right away. Cory came out and I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of his craft! Although I got a cheaper estimate, it was Corys knowledge, explanation and listening to our need that helps us choose Gilmore. They also provide a great work Gaurantee which makes all the difference. Melissa, again helped to schedule the work as soon as possible (this week). The crew arrived Wednesday ready to go to work. This was a complex and involved job. With installation of the new tankless and removal of the old electric unit, it was going to be a 2 day job. The best thing was that we were not out of hot water for almost the entire time. Anthony & Matt were professional, true craftsmen and a great reflection of their work ethics! The finished work was not only functional but looks beautiful and clean! They took the time to explain the progress of their work as they completed each step. They also help with the App to have control and monitoring of our unit remotely if necessary. They left the worksite clean and ready for use. Finally but not lastly, Melissa came in and took care of business! Melissa was able to schedule a Final Inspection for first thing next week. This is very important to us because my vacation is ending next week. From start to finish, this was one of the best experience Ive had in a while. We had them come out to do a tune up. Very nice technician but we felt that they tried to up sell on us on updating the AC unit. Then after they left we heard that the unit was making a different noise. Called an hour after they left to let them know. Unfortunately they couldnt come back until two days later. Once they came back, they tried to charge us a $129 diagnostic fee but we just had them out. We got it squared away but again tried to up sell. Not sure we will use them again

New system installed about 1 year ago. Recently, the system just shut down on a 100 degree Sacto day. Jon came out, diagnosed and repaired an emergency sensor that by design will shut the system down in the event of an error. Technician was on time, worked efficiently, explained what was being done and was courteous. Couldnt ask for better response time and service. Thank you Gilmore!
The technician Robert was professional and most informative. He conducted the Spring HVAC test tuneUp and happily reported that our system is in stellarShape. He also educated us to Gilmore’s filter program which appears to be a great price on 12 packs. Bottom line, would I recommend and use again, you bet.
Jason m of Gilmore Air arrived within the time frame agreed upon. He was very courteous and personable. More importantly he had ample HVAC experience and laid out the issues with our 20+ year old system and options. We ended up having him replace a bad capacitor to get us thru the hot weather which will give us time to decide which path forward: continue with our existing system with higher operating costs and increasing maintenance costs or investing in a new system.

Our tech Carson came out to perform a system tune up. He was on time and incredibly professional. He explained everything he did and what he found. He was able to identify a part on the A/C that was failing and repaired it before it had a chance to die in the heat of summer. He also made recommendations for some other services that may be of interest to us based on our conversation while he was walking through the his visit today. Highly recommend using Gilmore, we will have them back again next season and hopefully get Carson again.

Was quoted 1400.00 dollars for a cleaning and was charged 130.00 dollars for the tec to tell me there was nothing he could do but tear apart the unit to chemically clean the unit.I went to harbor freight spent 6.00 dollars on a mask and goggles and cleaned the unit in five minutes. Works better then it has ever had now.I will never recommend Gilmore to anyone.

These are not repairmen. They come to your home and try up sell on un needed maintenance and or the purchase of a new system. Never using again.
Expensive!!! They do have good processes and did arrive as scheduled and did fix my ac. However they charged me $430 for a part which costs $30. When I complained and spoke to a manager, they said that’s the same amount there competition charges. Sounds like price fixing. They also tried to sell me a new system for $20,000 because there we’re supposedly numerous problems with my system. No thank you.

We called gilmore when our HVAC was leaking and creating an issue with our ceiling. Craig was dispatched the day after my call and was phenomenal. He carefully fixed the leak, explained everything in great detail, and even helped clean up the leak! He stayed quite a while to make sure things were right before he went to his next job.Gilmores good reputation is well earned.
I had a horrendous experience with a contractor that works with American Home Shield. I called Gilmore (with whom we have the Emperor program) and we were able to get our plumbing problem fixed not in three, not in two, but ONE VISIT!In sharp contrast to the incompetent contractor from AT Appliances, Gilmore troubleshooted everything (the dishwasher, the stopgap, the garbage disposal, etc.) to be thorough. Jeremy was incredibly attentive and he was very informative - a night and day difference between the last people we had come and look at our plumbing issues.Dont be like me and pay $150 for an incompetent contractor, HIRE Gilmore and their competent staff, and enroll in their emperor program. A little bit each month MORE than makes up in savings during the year for all of various needs (AC, Heater, Plumbing, etc.).

Phil showed up fairly early on the morning of or appointment. He was friendly and quickly found the problem with our HVAC -- a blown capacitor for the compressor motor. He replaced the capacitor and proceeded to re-balance a number of parameters in our AC system. He also recalibrated our thermostat which appeared to be 2-degrees off. He also plugged a hole behind the thermostat which possibly contributed to the thermostat error. He was very through and carefully explained all the things that he did. Phil appears to be a very experienced and knowledgeable HVAC tech. Glad he came to our rescue.
