Please take this serious, Scammers number 1, the worst manager in that location, bad services in that place because lazy workers and the manager, she dont dont do her job at all, makes her worker lazy.That location should be close. I m going to contact the VP about Tha manager changing price from 60 to 400$. And I m going to dispute the charge I ready called the bank. I m working on vedio on Facebook and all other social media about the manager and that location. We will see scammers.
Line can get long. Layout is not great as you may have to enter through the do not enter area in the rear. Some equipment has seen better days [no more than any other UHaul]. Why the 5 stars? Johanna Pena. She was amazing with her attitude and knowledge. She was extremely helpful and kept up a good and helpful attitude even with the most frustrating customers. She was able to help us out and give us good tips on using the equipment.
Saturday morning. overall it was ok, the girl in the morning was excellent and took pride in her job. But when I returned the trailer in the evening at closing. The 3 employees could care less about helping me. I had to unhook and put trailer back myself
Make sure you check your paperwork carefully at the time of pickup, and verify that everything is correct. They handed me paperwork stating that the truck had 1/2 tank of gas at pickup, when in reality it had 3/8 of a tank. I returned it with slighly more than 3/8 of a tank, and they then billed me $13.50 for 3 gallons of gas. Thankfully I took pictures of the dashboard including the odometer and fuel gage at the time of pickup and return, and was able to get the charges removed. But it took four phone calls and a lot of wasted time on my end to fix a problem that shouldnt have occurred in the first place.

Happy they were located close to office. Seemed short staffed so had to wait to be serviced during pick up. The gentlemen that helped me during my return did not communicate the end process very well. He just walked away. I had to ask him if we were done. Did not leave me with a good impression. A thank you or have a nice day would have been nice. Just a little impersonal for someone to tell you a price then start walking away while entering information on the device.
I agree with the comments that Kimberly made. Whoever is in charge of running this place needs to make sure that their staff has customer service experience or be at least knowledgable of the services when asked a simple question. The guy that helped me (who must be new) was not very pleasant.
Ive used this location frequently. Equipment has always been newer and well maintained. Plan for long waits, they need more staff. One of the late day team is great to work with and is helpful resolving issues like your truck not being available for you due to a late return. That said, not all folks should be customer facing because they hurt your business.

Long lines due to covid. Well not even, theres one person checking in and out uhauls. So be ready to spend a good 30 minutes to rent a uhaul or more.

I rented an F-150 pick-up truck for a couple hours. There was a small line when I got there and didnt have a reservation. So I downloaded the UHAUL app and started the rental process on my phone. However, when it was my turn, Johanna (the manager) was able to complete my reservation in person quickly. They have ample moving supplies on site and a large selection on trucks and trailers to rent. The only bad, the F-150 is NOT 4 wheel drive. So, dont drive it on a soft, off road surface. It will get stuck!0⁰

Best place to rent, salesperson was great and very helpful Im upset I forgot herr name. She was there since 700 am I got there at 9am to rent and was very cheerful.
Made a reservation about 1 month prior to pick up (Going to another state 1200 miles away and 5 day rental) Received confirmation the day before by email that truck would be ready for pick up at 8 am. Called the store the evening before and told the store employee that I wouldn’t be able to pick up the truck until 11 am and asked if that would be a problem.Employee said no problem and just come in at that time.When I arrived at the store the next day, store employee told me that the reservation had been cancelled because I didn’t show up at 8 am.Asked employee what I’m supposed to do now, he said he didn’t know and only has trucks for daily rentals.Worst costumer service ever.This was a very frustrating experience.

Dont believe your reservation means anything. the day before our move we were called and told they wouldnt have a truck for us. we reserved a 24 truck, and we were told we could only get a 15 truck. what are we supposed to do, move 2 times? Do NOT count on a truck being there. Hire a moving company. If I could give zero stars I would.

Horrible experience with uhaul 24/7, took over an hour to get approved and access to the truck. The lady that called from uhaul was completely unprofessional, wouldn’t answer my question about how much longer it would take and just hung up on me. After dropping it off at night, and being told to lock up the back with the original lock, got a call the next morning saying I had to come back and open the lock or else I’d get charged a lock cutting fee even though it was their lock. On top of that, you have to wait on hold for at least 20 mins to talk to them.Update: 30 mins of holding and they just hung up and never even received a call back.
The most horrible experience I’ve ever had was at the Plainfield UHaul location, I returned the vehicle right after refueling at gas station and was still charged. Tried explaining to the clerk about the loud noises and growling near the gas tank but he was not concerned about the safety of customers. It was about the money. Review your invoice carefully. I will never use Plainfield U haul ever again.

I went to see the place today and ask a question and one of the employees inside, for not stopping to walk four feet and open the door, made me turn around. Of the two, the one with no beard was the one who didnt want to stop, not even telling me to wait a minute, because his partner, the beard, was out there. Those little details make a company well regarded. The attention to the public is essential for a business to prosper, instead this place works because it has a name that supports it, because if they depended on employees like this, they would go bankrupt. The other employees have treated me very well and that is why I make this comment, so that they can correct errors like these. You can reply in English if you wish, I put this message in Spanish, because there are many here and maybe even a majority.
