I purchased 2 of the Ashley Alliston Grey couches from you in the spring of 2019 they were delivered in June 2019 and both are falling apart at the same location. I just posted a poor review and added pictures on google reviews. First when they were promised (yes promised) to come in time and they did not come in your I could live with that all that said I am shocked at the quality or should I say the lack of quality of this product the way it is put together is horrible and I am not shocked both are falling apart in the same place after taking a closer look, I have even had to cut a few of my own 2x4s to make a prop to hold one of the couches up. We do not have young children it is not like they are abused in any fashion.

I wouldn’t buy furniture anywhere else! My bedroom set is just what we were looking for and the staff were wonderful to deal with. I’d recommend this store to all of my family and friends. They have a great selection and good quality furniture at fair prices! They owner Jen was great!

I just purchased a rocker and footstool from Wayside. The store seems to carry a different line of furnature than the big box stores I visited. The staff was helpful, but let you look at the furnature without hanging over your shoulder. I chose a fabric that is special order so Im waiting for delivery, but if it is like the floor model it should be very comfortable.

We purchased a king size Beautyrest from Bill and he helped us find the most comfortable mattress I think I have ever laid on . We have purchased from Allen’s before and will continue to purchase from them . Great family business!

The furniture there is incredibly expensive, and if you buy something, make sure its EXACTLY what you want, because they dont accept returns. No returns!! Are you kidding me?! I even offered to exchange for different furniture that equaled the same amount and it was still a no. JOKE of a place. I wish I saw the reviews before shopping there. Please do not give these people business.

Unethical, threatening business practices by the owner of Wayside Furniture My Mom ordered a chair from Allen Wayside Furniture on 8/12, put $850 on her credit card on the order, got home realized the color ordered was incorrect and went back next day to cancel order. She asked to speak with order as she was told no exchanges/no refunds. Owner was rude threatening and told my mom he would not cancel the order and that the distributor where the chair was ordered would not accept a cancel at this point. My mother asked for the name of the distributor so she could call herself and he refused to give it to her. Told her to go look it up online. My mom is 72 so i am assuming he would think she had no idea how to do this. He then said that he would credit her $650 back but keep $200 and she would need to come back and buy the chair by Oct. What makes this worse is my mom had bought the exact same chair one year before from this very store and was buying another because she loved the chair so much so clearly she intended to by the chair she just needed to wait on the color choice as they are in the midst of selling thier home of 43yrs and moving to a new town house in Hampton. She at this point was not comfortable with his offer due to his behavior towards her and had no interest in shopping at this store in the future due to how she was being treated. He told her this was his only offer and if she did not like it she could take her paperwork and leave. My mom felt threatened and that this was the best she was going to get from this man. She went home Googled the distributor after looking at the tag on her current chair, called them direct and they told her that they had not even received her order yet from the store and that their policy is that they accept cancels up to 24hrs of the chair being shipped and told my mom that the owner of Allan Wayside Furniture William Abrams was choosing to not cancel the order. The woman my mom talked to at the distributor was pretty horrified. My mom has lived in the seacoast for 43 yrs and has never been treated in such a way by a local business. His treatment of a customer was disgusting and his choice to not put a halt on a chair that my mom order 1 day before *he had not even placed the order* and my mom was a repeat customer of this store. i would like to see my mother fully refunded the remaining $200 so she can find another store that carries that brand. She has no interest in ever doing business with Allen Wayside Furniture

Ill give one star for the star that works in this store. Kimberly Richards is a hard working lady. We were just in there on Saturday of the Memorial day weekend. She was by herself and was helping 4 sets of customers at once. The owners attitude (Jen) is atrocious and unprofessional. Here is the quick story:I had already priced furniture for 3-4 months and knew roughly what i wanted to spend. I wanted to give the business to a place in my hometown and liked Kimberly when I previously visited. The pub table and chairs, and two sofas came to approx $3900. Higher than Bernie and phylls. Being the holiday weekend and most places were 10-12.5% off I offered to write a check for $3500 plus I would pay delivery. Kimberly called an owner and he said no thanks. I thanked Kimberly for her time and off we went. I called the Portsmouth store and Got an owner Jen. Explained that I already had a quote from a competitor and that I worked and lived in town and what my intentions were with future business and referrals. Her brilliant statement thats the difference between us, I would never ask for a discount!!! obviously I was flabbergasted that a business owner would be that oblivious to how rude the statement was. I told her how rude it was to even make the statement and she was so clueless she repeated it! A statement from the guy that answered the phone in Portsmouth...our prices are already as low as they can go, so we dont discount. ummmm. no they are higher than the competition thats why you have a price match policy.Be sure to read the policies on their board. STORE CREDIT ONLY EVEN IF PRODUCT IS DAMAGED. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS.

My wife ordered a 80 dollar clock in jan 14, it showed up broken. she brought it back and they told her 2 weeks tops to replace it, then 3, then 4, then at 5 weeks they called us to inform us its on back order and it would be june. i told the woman we would like our money back and she told us they dont give refunds, store credit only sooo, they have our merchandise and our money and wont give us either. no bull people, dont shop here

Do your self a favor, do not shop this place, placed an in store order. Decided to get something else in store 10 minutes later and they would not cancel my original order.The furniture I bought was 400 dollars less know instead of refunding the money back to my account I have a 400 dollar store credit because I didnt read the fine print.

IF YOUR IN THE NEED OF FURNITURE THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO.UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF WITH ATTITUDES THAT ACT LIKE YOUR INFRINGING ON THEIR TIME.THE PRODUCTS THAT ARE SOLD THERE CAN BE GOT AT OTHER PLACES SO MY ADVICE IS SHOP AROUND BECAUSE THESE CLOWNS ARENT THE ONLY GAME AROUND!!!
