We came on Sunday after church the store said it would Open at 12 we waited for a hour outside with other customers and no one ever came. We ended up leaving

Go there at your peril. They are shady and downright scamming customers. They will inflate your bill and charge your extra $5 - $10. And if you were to forget your grocery, they will take it back to shelf and lie they saw other customer pick up the grocery that you paid for. Stay away!

I went to buy a pack of Vita Malt from this store (24 in one). On getting to the store, the cashier and I exchanged pleasantries per usual(I’m a regular at this store), then I asked how much the vita malt was to which he mentioned the amount. I asked him to please pick it up for me because it was too heavy for me. He readily agreed . After paying for the drink, I asked for his help to take it to my car because I couldn’t lift it . He immediately said no.I thought it was the regular friendly banter that we usually engaged in. After series of back and forth, I realized he was serious.I asked why he wouldn’t help me and he said and I quote “my job is to collect money, your job is to pay and consume it.”Then I asked how I’d carry it to my car since I couldn’t lift it and he was unwilling to help . To which this man said “maybe you should call someone to help you” I asked what exactly he meant and he said “maybe you should call someone from your house to help you.” Then I said, “I live 20 mins away and you’re saying I need to call someone to help me lift a pack of malt that you can readily do sir?” To which he shrugged in an I-don’t-care-kind-of-way.Then I asked if it was a company policy to not assist customers with their groceries but he couldn’t provide an answer.Then I asked what he’d do if it was an elderly customer that needed assistance to which he said “that’s a different case.”It was then it dawned on me that his refusal to help me as a CUSTOMER was solely because to him, I could easily pass for his daughter. Basically, the Nigerian mentality of how dare you ask your elder to help you! (Nigerians would very well understand what I mean) Would he act this way if he worked at Walmart? Would he act this way I was a customer from a different race? Probably not.Then I said I wasn’t interested in the drink anymore and asked for a reimbursement. He said that I should leave the drink and wait until his madam came and he’ll tel his madam to give me a transfer . I asked when she was coming and he said “in the afternoon.”At this point, the phone rang and without giving me so much as a glance, he picked up and said “hello African market!” I just stood there like a fool.Eventually I asked another lady who was in the store to help me with the drink and she did .Needless to stay, after 6 years of patronizing this place, I won’t be coming back to this store anymore.Shame!

Neat Grocery African store. You can get almost all your African foods there. Great! customer service.

Im definitely never going back. They sell expired baby food. It expired four months ago. They still had it on their shelves selling to people and they were aware its expired. My friends baby ate the baby food already before we realized. So sad what people do just to make money.

They give me all the goods I need at an amazing price. The workers are very kind and helpful on my journey through the store. Definitely coming back.

Will not buy anything else from this place again. My first and last visit here. Upon arrival and entering the store there was a strong smell of URINE! The store stinks and is very unclean. The man working behind the counter is very rude and very uncourteous! On their card they claim they have the cleanest store in Texas, you guys need to stop telling that lie. I don’t know what strong drink y’all are drinking, but you need to stop, because this store is a looooong way from being clean! The health department really need to pay you a visit!

Please stay away from this place! They sale expired Yam flour. I tried to return the flour within an hour of purchase and the owner named Vero refused to refund me my money and argued with me on the phone. VERY RUDE lady and she hang up on me as if my 32.99$ didn’t matter. I have the receipt and the bag is full but she said because it was opened she won’t take it. I’ve been their customer for a few years now but this behavior is unacceptable in America or anywhere if you are in the business industry. STAY AWAY from this PLACE. Don’t buy things that will make you sick! Zero star is what they deserve.

Friendly atmosphere. You can find whatever you need at this store and if they do not have it in stock, will graciously order the item for you at no extra cost to you. This is a well organized store indeed.

I do not recommend at all!! This is not my first neither will it be my 10th time of shopping here, Id bought snail before it was all spoilt, took it down there, the shop attendant said he would tell his boss, nothing happened, now i got another spoilt one, theyre telling me even if its Walmart they will not collect it and refund!! If this is the way we Africans are dealing with eachother,theb its good....probably when plano environmental services decides to pay a visit!! They will undestand better....

The store owner is the Nicest they have every thing from every country.it is very friendly you feel like you are in africa from African music to African posters.Sometimes she even plays African movies.She even has African clothes I almost forgot she has all the food she has all African food the best palm oil is there

This site hosts authentic African food. African food indistrulized as well. The price is not the cheapest but im sure quite worth it when you re a long way from home. The personal is very welcoming

This is a deadly store take your time to check the expiration date of what so ever you are buying I bought expired baby formula (08/2019) bought it 12/19 and noticed after two weeks and they still have it on the counter only God knows how many kids have been feed with that wicked people endangering people health because of her selfish interest
