RMD Drones staff is polite and pleasant. However, my experience was a little less desirable due to the lack of business organization and respect of my time. Upon dropping my drone off, I filled out a customers intake form which includes name, phone number, and email address. The form also includes make and model of drone and a list of items you are dropping off.I filled all that information out. However, the form did not ask for any information on the problems the customer is having with the drone. So, I asked the very polite front desk lady Erika I believe is her name, if I could speak with a technician so I can discuss the repairs needed. I spoke face to face with a technician about the repairs needed. After a week, I had not received a call with an update, so I called, only for them to tell me they had no notes on this drone so they did not know what was wrong with it.Im not sure why RMD did not contact me to get some information from me. I can only assume from the lack of organization that my paperwork was misplaced. Thats why I say RMD has some business organization issues. I understand mistakes happen and paperwork can get lost, however, I was met with excuses and no accountability. My receipt had all my correct contact info. The senior engineer PATRICK JANKOWIAK is a liar. They never diagnosed my drone, I guess I paid for a consultation. I basically paid nonrefundable diagnostic fee of $32.46 for RMD DRONES to tell me to send my drone to the manufacturer. RMD DRONES took my MONEY.I would have liked to give my business to local businesses like RMD Drones, however RDM Drones was unable to repair my drone. I called another drone shop in Grand Prairie which was not as polite as RMD, but they did not give me much confidence that they could do the repairs. So I took RMDs advice and shipped my drone to the manufacturer DJI and they were able to repair my drone with surprisingly affordable rates and quick turnaround. Not to mention guaranteed warranty on repair parts. Having the manufacturer do repairs is a no brainer from here on out!!
Very nice, knowledgeable staff at this drone store. They do full video production and DVD backups, etc also. Great deals on some of their drones. There is a DJI Phantom (used but in great shape) right now for $175 I think. You cant beat that! Will definitely be coming here for my next drone purchase.
I met with Daniel and I was thoroughly impressed with his company. Hes been doing this type of work for many years. Daniel provided me with a really nice tip regarding the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification. As a result, I passed the test and now certified. Thank you Daniel!
Great quality drone repair. Very friendly. But a bit weak on attention to detail (had to bring my drone back twice to get it repaired and get all my parts.)
