In general, we are loyal Best Buy customers, but this time was very frustrating. Be aware that when you buy a new, unlocked phone at Best Buy, there are some key features, WiFi calling for instance, that are disabled, at least on Verizon. That was not explained to me, and according to the manager, was news to him. So if you want the full feature set of a phone, buy a phone specific to that network. Dont buy an unlocked phone.
My home theater receiver unexpectedly quit after many years of use. I wanted to replace it with the new model from the same brand, but I found it to be out of stock everywhere I looked. Then I checked Best Buy and it was available to be shipped to my local store. Took only a few days and the process was easy and convenient.
Store was quite busy when we went but associate did a great job of taking care of us while also helping other customers and then following up with us and making sure we got all the help we needed all the way to checking out. His name was Jonathan, I believe. He helped us find something we weren’t even looking for that ended up being perfect for us.

Met with John in Electronics. He set me up with a great Sony CarPlay radio replacement for my Ford F-150. Mathan installed it for me the following week. Highly recommend meeting with them for your Car Stereo needs. Great service!
The guy who helped me was wonderful and when l sought out to compliment him to the manger, l found out from the other employees, he was the manager! Goes to show hes a great manager to work along side of everyone and never puff himself up. Good job, Best Buy!
Great selection. I dont know how they can compete with eBay and amazon with these prices. If you are the type who needs a lot of assistance with electronics or you just want to put your hands on the item you are buying and cant wait this is the place for you.
Always have a great experience when coming to this location. Staff is very friendly and more than willing to go out of their way to locate a product at another store if they dont have the item in stock. Will continue coming here in the future and would recommend this location anyone.
I buy most of my tech from a best buy, this is by far the worst customer service. Asked 5 employees for help and all said I will get someone to help. After 30 mins, told me product is unavailable yet I could clearly see the product in their locked cabinets. Then after, proceeded to give me the wrong model . If you do not like your job please dont work in customer service or where you will interact with people. Returning the product they gave me, I should have checked again before walking put, wrong model again but will be going to another branch. Never returning to this one.
Is Best Buy... I asked the cashier to apply my credit he said he did...he didnt. Doesnt hurt to double check for the customers sake.
After saving $500 an open box tv at a different best buy the night before I had mixed feelings then it wouldnt power on. Thankfully, Plano best buy did an exchange even though open box returns typically have to be returned where purchased. So, Im happy.
Best Buy is normally my favorite store. This is the first time I can say I genuinely had a bad experience. The layout is poor, it isnt properly stocked, displays are missing and broken, and the staff are having a grand old time laughing and talking throughout the store while ignoring customers.I ended up leaving and spending over $4k at a different electronic store. This was an impressively terrible experience.
Sometimes you might have to ask several employees to help you find a product.One will say they don’t have it in store, because in reality they’re ready to clock out but another will help you to the fullest.
The best experience Ive ever had at a Best Buy... I was in and out thanks to a helpful saleperson in less than 5 mins.

I went to Sams instead & purchased my 70 inch Tv & labtop & couldnt be more happier. I have never in my life experienced customer service that was this pitiful. I went online & purchased a 70 in TV & paid to have it delivered, mounted, & purchased some total text support plan. Missed the delivery and best buy had ridiculous redelivery dates that were not worth waiting to get an appointment for so I had decided I was just going to cancel the entire order and just go out and purchase another TV but instead have someone take it home for me. I called customer service today at exactly 1:15pm to cancel & get my refund, as of now its 8pm and Ive called 8 different times to only be placed on hold so I requested call backs so that Im not sitting on hold for 1hr 45 mins like I did the first phone call. During these multiple calls I have been Iied to about my order, had dates changed, told my order was canceled days ago when in fact it was just done today, told my refund had already been given when in fact it has not, told I needed to call a DIFFERENT department, OH OH WAIT had the phone mysteriously hang up while on hold waiting for answers WITHOUT no one calling me back when they have all my contact information to do so, & even told that the department I needed was already gone for the night @7:45pm when I know dam well they dont close until 8pm but was told oh they leave early. Mind you, I called at 1:15pm initially and was on the phone with them CONSISTENTLY unless I was at home waiting for the requested phone call return, but ended my calls at 7:55pm only because the phone mysterious hung up while they were looking into my issues and of course no return phone call. And as of right now my $1024.00 cancelation is still not complete. I wish like hell I was lying but Im so serious. PITIFUL. Sad part is even if I drove up there Im still going to be placed on hold because what I need done requires me to have to call even if I was in store. Best Buy can go straight to hell after I get my cancelation & refund

Customer service is awful looked for every possible reason to decline my return even though the $1000 monitor I purchased arrived broken and I reported it same day just a hassle bringing a huge 49” ultra wide back in store, was within the return window and customer service were awful not even apologizing for having to deal with this hassle when spending so much with them. Overall terrible customer service and the manager looked for every reason to decline a return not the first time this has happened AVOID and blamed me for breaking it even tho I told him I told bestbuy.com that it was broken and they approved it. Probably not wanting a return on their monthly budget.
I was trying to get a iPhone today. completely rude and dismissive employees didnt even offer me help. I guess the only willing to help out certain type of customers. Im taking my business elsewhere and never coming back.
Terrible Location. Customer Service is NONE. All they hire are a bunch of high school kids to work here. TV section is Terrible. Associates are not only rude, but very arrogant. I was there to buy a TV and the associate Cuong laughed when I wanted to buy a lower end TV. Im sorry but Im not going to buy a 1500$ tv for a Child. Associate would have known if they would have asked questions. On top of making it awkward he mutters cheapo under his breath when I left. LAST and ONLY time I will ever be in this store. Save yourself some time and go elsewhere.

Been here twice, two different sales persons. Both were impressively product knowledgeable (and we looked at many ranges and refrigerators both tmes). And both were very customer oriented.
Best buy used to be a good store. Employees are like robots, dont have the answers when you ask a different or unusual question about a product.

I will never spend a dime at this store ever again. They refuse to help me or check me out unless I where a face diaper i have medical reasons for not wearing a mask. In the state of Texas you dont have to give up your God given rights, and there is no mandate to were one. You need to move to Russia or China where you have no right.
The worst experience I have ever had.Sales associate Associates were not helpful at all and strongly discourage me from purchasing a laptop from them and recommended that Ill be way better off to purchasing a laptop from somewhere else or even a Amazon for each laptop that I had in mind he said that its unavailable and then. It will take for them to six weeks until well arrive at the store

Havent been in a Best Buy in a few years. I know people dont buy as much physical media now, but it was sad to see how small the movie and game sections have shrunk. I was expecting that, but not the lack of product. The videogame (what I came to look at) and merchandise sections were pathetic and sad looking. The shelves were mostly empty, and what they had were often not in their correct spots. The rest of the store was clean and employees made themselves available to help, but unless I need a new TV or something I probably wont come back.
Her eyes are like sunflowers blossoming in the spring, her skin conformed to her smile as bright as the sun, her twisted wool hair distinguished from all the rest. Pleasant, she gives you the giggles. She got the knowledge to sell you the best laptop. Ill be back.

I have been in this store so many times and I’m a big Best Buy fan/buyer. Today August 14 at about 4 PM me and my family visited this store like many other times to buy a coffee maker. Ours broke this week and we decided to come take a look at the ones available at the store. When we picked our machine and go to the register my wife proceed to redeem some American Express rewards for a e-gift card. We go to the register and the guy told us he cannot validate or use any e gift cards. The instructions for use at Amex is that you either print the card or show the barcode at the register. I have done this at the store so many times. He said he was instructed to not do so. He really had good intentions and asked his supervisor and she came and said, ” you see you have to print it? “. The instructions are very clear on either options. Then she just move on. This person was very anti- customer service and totally disoriented. We were given no other reason… just don’t wAnt to do it. We left the machine there and proceed to go home and print the card. I called to another store in Frisco and they said they do accept e-gift cards. Then we go to Allen store, buy the item and in fact redeem the card. No questions … just normal use and they scanned the barcode. To me the store in N Express has to do something. They lost just one sale but I’m not going back. Totally unprofessional from this lady. I’m also reporting this to AMEX Platinum program. AMEX stands out as a company of values and great service. They pick their providers and they need to listen to what happen. It’s was a huge waste of time to drive around for a coffee machine and there is no company policy on this as other Two stores confirmed these e-gift cards are use and valid.I’m way disappointed as a customer and honestly the service today was not just poor,,, it was ridiculous. Why having people in charge of an operation that can’t do the work? Why not bothering on asking and try to help.? We even showed her the instructions and she just turned away. The email from them said the order was ready for pick up but they didnt have all of my purchases ready for pick up and yet pretended as if I was provided all of my merchandise. I was lucky to check it out before leaving the store and to find out it.

Jessica helped me when I called for more receipt information on an order I placed online. I had been on hold and talking to 3 different people today trying to get someone who understood what I needed (more than the regular online receipt). She was the only one who really helped in a meaningful way. It wasnt everything I needed but thats not her fault. Please recognize her an others that make this kind of effort.Had I not received this kind of support, I likely would not have taken any future business back to this location.

The gal at the service desk was very helpful and knowledgeable.BEWARE I was told that my $200.00 Geek Squad contract would cover anything i need them to do (electronically) in my home for a flat 50 bucks. This sounded good to me. Yesterday I purchased 3 fire sticks and needed them hooked up along with a couple of other things.They tell me its going to be 50 to come out, and $50 for each (3) fire stick installation....NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD WHEN I PURCHASED MY 200.00 CONTACT. Second manager amazing, polite understood and helped me find exactly what I needed. Unfortunately will never go back to Best Buy in Plano. They must not want business.
Curbside pickup needs to be refined. Was the only person picking up, and it still took longer than they project. Further it was not explained that the employee was being held to special rules about how to load my item. I could have been better prepared if this was explained. I had to load my own order because of this confusion. The employee was otherwise polite and helpful.

Sales staff not very helpful at all. Basically went into store to shop for a cell phone case that the website said it had. Couldnt find it at first. Employee we asked just said it was on a shelf and pointed in a direction but never actually showed us. Then come to find out that its the wrong cell phone case. Bluray stock used to be way larger but this store was very small stock.
This store gives Best Buy an awful name. I had to walk away from a sale associate because she was being rude and ignorant. The manager was just as unhelpful. My company purchases serval thousand dollars of products from this store, and to be treated with disrespect from the staff was absolutely unacceptable. Best Buy you just lost a customer forever - Im going to Costco!
I visited another store and I was treated badly. I came to this store as a last resort, and I was about to stop visiting best buy. But, this stores customer service was AMAZING!! They restored my love to best buy.
DO NOT USE THIS STORE FOR SETUP & DELIVERY OF HOME THEATER. I had purchased an expensive tv and sound system to be setup and delivered. My instillation time was between 7:00 am & 1:00 pm on a weekday, so I had to take time off work. The installer even called to say he had to pickup the items from the store and he’d be to my house in 30. I then get a call from a (800) that I couldn’t call back, saying my items were out of stock, and I would need to reschedule. Since Best Buy stores aren’t excepting calls, and you have to go through a national hotline no one could tell me when I could be rescheduled. I had to drive to the store to get a full refund, after I was hung up on by the guy that worked for the national hotline. (i was being calm & polite) TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
Every time I go to Best Buy, I leave empty handed. Used to love the place, but they dont cater to boomers much anymore. Had sworn off going there at all for a long time. Then recently decided to give them a try as we needed a new dishwasher. We were interested in Bosch models and were ready to buy, but they had none in stock and didnt know when theyd get any. We just ordered what we wanted off Amazon and got it about 7 days later.
Had to go looking for employees to help me then the employee i found had to go find an employee to help me. As Im standing there looking around waiting the LP at front door staring at me all suspicious. Felt uncomfortable atmosphere.
I bought 4 items totaling over $1,000 worth of merchandise. One item was out of stock so they said theyd ship it to me for free. Our salesman was talking on and on about his personal life and used our old address instead of our new address. He didnt ask which address to use or if the address he chose was the right one.I called and they arent answering phones during covid? That seems off.I called customer service who then made it a point to tell me they dont speak spanish. Well, neither do I but way to racial profile me from my name. They then said It was my fault and I should contact the current people living at that location. Seriously? A free delivery apparently is costing me a lot more than just ordering it from Amazon. I then went to the store to ask if they could reorder one to the correct address and was told it was my fault and that I had to wait until a few days after delivery to request a new one. This is a gift so unfortunately they wont get it all on the day since I now have to wait through all of this. I wont ever buy anything from bestbuy again and its concerning how they are still in business.

We visited to buy a small freezer for son.The two store reps were very helpful with finding and purchasing the item.
Advertises same-day delivery then an hour prior to the end of that stated delivery window, texts their customer that the item they ordered is no longer available for same-day delivery. Cant update shipping method, cancel order, etc. but they provide you text on your order details as if you can, who does that? Then you cant even LEAVE FEEDBACK at their garbage website which makes sense given that you get placeholder text instead of actual hyperlinks regarding your order status. Commerce with them, do not.
