Omg, this is the discovery of the year for me. I found produce that I didnt even think existed in US. Im originally from Azerbaijan and I found so many traditional food, diary products. All kinds of Turkish cheese, drinks jarred pickles, sunflower seeds even Turkish gum. Bakery section is another paradise to indulge in 👍🇹🇷🇦🇿♥️👍

Visited for the first time today to buy halal meat. Prices are quite reasonable and they have a lot of variety as well; especially halal brisket and turkey / beef bacon, which are generally not carried by any muslim store. Staff is also very cooperative.. Would definitely recommend to visit... 👍👍👍

Been going to Horizon for over one years now, never been disappointed. The store is always clean and well organized. The prices is equivalent or cheaper than comparable stores. The Staff is friendly yet professional. Bakery has good some selection. The bread is fresh morning you can get request to get warm. The butcher is very friendly their halal chicken and meat are always fresh and taste great when cooked.

I was recommended this market by a coworker, and it exceeded my expectation. I actually ended going twice in the first day, despite the 25 minute drive. The store is clean, immaculately zoned, and if you’re there on the weekend, you shouldn’t leave without ordering a gyro. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are great. I highly recommend this store.

So the place was very clean and very welcoming. We went in thinking we would get some okay meat,but we got amazing meat and meet the butcher who was very nice.

Mainly it serves the Turkish Muslim community..and secondarily other communities as well.. Good selection of lamb ...... They should include more indopak/ Bangladeshi items to make it more convenient one stop shopping...

We shopped in many middle east grocery stores in Dallas and I found Horizon Fresh Market remarkable. We often shop in there now. Store is clean and well organized all the time. They respect costumers by considering their needs and offer points to the amounts you spend in their store. Ones a while we use our saved points to plunge our total a bit down :). Wow … my new favorite store. Providing all the basic fresh necessities, the meats are excellent and second to none, not even the best butcher shops ….. although admittedly you aren’t going to find a slice of bacon in the whole place. On the other hand, the Halal Kofte (small seasoned meat patty) is to die for and makes an incredible replacement for a lean and flavorful breakfast sausage. The butcher will make up larger ones which makes for an incredible burger! (I haven’t missed the bacon in over 6 months.)Of the general fare, I always find something that has a slightly different twist (taste wise) that makes coming back and trying something new a better and usually healthier experience. A Really important note, the foreign products are usually not loaded with all the artificial sweeteners, flavorings, chemicals, and preservatives.A shopping trip is usually quick (because it is well organized), prices are very reasonable, and the staff and owners incredibly friendly…. making for an enjoyable experience! When was the last time you could say THAT about going to the grocery store?

What an amazing place to get best quality halal meat. Prices are very competitive, compared to other halal meat stores. I purchased a full goat and the quality to cutting to skimming was very good. The owner Vishal is an wonderful person, he was very professional and informative. This is a Turkish specialty grocery store, their bakery is also very good, we’re you get good baked items and Turkish sweets. Overall A+ I am very happy and will always go to horizon for all halal meat.

Its expensive but you can find many Turkish products. I dont buy meat there anymore due to ownership change. Its a clean store and most of their employees are very nice.

The meat department here is amazing, with actual butchers who are knowledgeable and experienced. Great organic Halal meat thats far more reasonable than non-organic meat at Kroger.. Lots of lamb and great advice about cooking it. Cheese and baklava are great. The place is spotless, and the staff is nice. The bakery is also very nice. Please support these folks! They are bringing a great product to Plano. I go there whenever I need what they have, and in addition to getting good quality stuff, I save money. Go see for yourself.

Last yeat I gave this store 1star!!!! Now, I am editing my review, since my last experience there after a year was totally different.Last year I went there several times to buy beef and lamb meat and fresh bread. Unfortunately they were out of bread always I went. Also, beef meat changed to green showing that it was spoiled. Additionally, most of the shelves were empty, cashier was rude and whatever I asked her she said I dont know!!!Now I am changing my review because I went there 2 weeks ago based on one of my friends recommendation. I went and I was surprised! The store was full of commodities, specially lovely turkish brands and sweets, turkish delicious foods, and best turkish chai (tea) brands. So many kind of beef, lamb and chicken meats and all fresh.Cashier was a kind gentleman who was so welcoming and taking care of the customers.Now I am looking to go there and buy fresh Turkish Simit with Nutella as a breakfast habit that we used to buy when were in Turkey!Thanks to whom that changed the store to a lovely one now!!!

I came here looking for Bastirma (Turkish/Egyptian cured beef) and they had it! Plus so much more. Really great selection of imported groceries (mainly Turkish, some Middle Eastern). They also have a great meat and a very nice bakery, with delicious baklava and breads! Their service is amazing - it really stood out. And they are exceptionally clean, unlike many other stores. I already sent the store info to other friends and will be back soon.

Organized place and have a variety of products (Turkish, Persian, Arabic, Indian and Pakistani) for reasonable prices. Very well maintained grocery store and Fresh halal meat they have good cuts of meats. Bone in ribeye is perfect. The guy behind the counter really knows his meat.

Im amazed at how much attention to detail and thought goes into this market. The entire store is immaculately well maintained and clean, and I even saw streak marks on their refrigeration windows from being cleaned during the middle of the day (which NEVER happens at most other stores). Their prices never have me thinking about price hunting at other stores, especially when it comes to its halal meat department. Not only that, but their selections of what items to offer on their shelves all seem like quality products and I wouldnt doubt there were some sort of product testing before stocking it on their shelves. There are lots of problems that occur in other stores; namely having old stock, damaged goods, disorganized shelves, and other small dings that are simply not present at this store. The bakery section offers an ample selection of sweet and savory options that are all delicious and reasonably priced. Everybody working there was also very knowledgeable about what their department offers, and were very kind and helpful. Overall 10/10 in terms of quality this place is up there with central market without their exorbant prices.

We come all the way from McKinney to see how the pida is made in the oven and to buy the fresh meat it is one of the cleanest international grocery stores in the area. I would recommend this place to anybody. It is some of the freshest meat we have found in DFW.

When you first enter looks expensive. But found my rice bag for cheaper than other store. Other frozen items are reasonably price. Produce is limited but the person working in produce got me fresh parsley from the back. Good bakery food, prices, and service.

They carry different types of cheese & butter from Europe. The unique aspect is that they also offer seasonal specialty products from Europe. It gives me a feeling as if I walked into a store in Germany 🇩🇪! They carry “Turkish Delight” a special sweet treat quite famous in the Mediterranean & Middle East. I have noticed the Horizon Market just driving past and have always wanted to stop by and check it out. Very focused on ethic middle eastern food and grocery. I’m glad I found this mediterranean market. We bought some bakery made hummus and some rolled pistachio baklavas. Healthy foods, drinks, meats and cheeses, mostly Turkish other international brands. There is also a nice little sitting area inside of the bakery and produce area. Overall it was a wonderful experience, great clean atmosphere and the cashier was so helpful and pleasant. She gave us one warm bread for free first time customer. They make you feel like you belong to the community. Thank you!

Friend told me about this store and we visited this place is clean. From outside does not look mediterranean market. Halal Meat department is reasonably price and better quality compared to others. Please dont raise your prices.

For some reason I didnt have the good experience most people have. The groceries food is pricey, we ordered chicken gyro and it was dry and its not pricey, but it was not tasty. The store is clean and organized though.

Went by for the first time this morning based on the great reviews. This store has no organic produce, and the regular produce is old and wilted. The cilantro, in particular, was so dry it had turned brown on the ends. The meat cooler contained no meat - none at all. I was there around 9 am. There is a good selection of pantry goods, but it’s all overpriced. Their bulk good selection is significantly higher per lb than Sprouts. I was disappointed - this is the closest grocery store to our home, but I probably won’t go back.

I like they have good Zereske and Alo bokhara and dates sultan brand very good price. Horizon has good fresh barbari bread.

It was so savory. had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. the place has a cool atmosphere. similar to a cafe in las vegas i loved.

One place for all your needs: Groceries, Vegatables, Halal Meat....All (I mean it) products are Kosher and Halal besides well priced products. Pay and go save you extra time not like other markets waiting you on the line. I wish they keep this market clean because it is an issue in such local markets especially the halal ones.
