Office depot is a clean and pleasant place to be, the workers are willing to help you and that makes me feel comfortable. Thank you OFFICE DEPOT AND OFFICE MAX.
Ive been to the print center 4 times now. Every single time its a complete circus. Someone cant find my email. Someone cant log in to their employee account to use a computer. Someone cant get their printer to work. The self-service printers credit card reader is broken. The self-service machines are out of paper and they take over 5 minutes to figure out how to reload paper. Im really disappointed by the customer service and lack of employee knowledge, professionalism, and ability to complete basic tasks. I wont be returning any time soon. Youre probably better off doing your print jobs at FedEx or somewhere else where people can complete basic jobs with ease.
I’ve had a good experience with some of the employees at the print center however there is one employee that I’ve found to be very rude. He is an older gentleman. My wife went in to pick up a print job, she waited in line to ask for it because it wasn’t in the pick up section. He asked her if she pressed the call for help button and instead of getting her print job he made her walk over to find a call button after she pressed it he walked over and handed her the print. So unprofessional. The next day I returned because the scaling was wrong on the print (it was a clothes pattern). I asked about it and he said it could take awhile to figure out. I thought that meant he was going to help fix it, but he spent a large amount of time looking for evidence that it was my wives fault that it was printed wrong. I know she selected no scaling and to print as is and I could not believe the audacity he had to pretend like he was helping me just to prove it was our fault. I left and printed it out at FedEx. They took the time to measure it with me to check the scaling and were very patient. Much better experience.
Even though they were very busy the staff, especially the store manager, were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and personable!
Dont waste your time with their copy center. They lack customer service, courtesy, common sense and accountability. From the gross looking emo guy with leftover lunch on his shirt up to the equally unimpressive and clueless manager.Why waste words. Wont mince them either. This store sucks big balls
I had a terrible encounter with a cashier named Sarah, whining, holding up the line and telling me uneccesary stories. She seems incompetent and stupid, can’t believe they’re letting dummies work at the register
Went to this location two times for to get some print out and copies, an aged employee behind the counter didn’t provide service at all, gives priority to other customers behind me.A perfect bias.Will not go back to this store anymore.
Terrible service except for a employee named CHRIS, he was awesome!! He saved the day. In the future I will take my business to FEDEX! If you happen to encounter a elderly man named DANIEL And a young girl named ANA at the printing desk. Good luck!! They were extremely dismissive and extremely rude. Both acted as if I was bothering them. Keep in mind they are at work. I don’t usually write reviews but they’re rudeness was worth taking the time to write this review.
Alex and Chris in the Copy and Print department were awesome! They printed our urgent print job (200 color copies) literally 20 minutes before closing!!! AMAZING Customer Service!
There were many challenges to the print job that I brought in and needed a rush on. Linda did an outstanding job making sure she fully understood my requests and print them at the best quality possible. Shes an A+ manager, I appreciate her willingness to go above and beyond the job to make sure I got a great deal on my rush order as well. Thank you!
Customer service for curbside at this store is terrible! As instructed I hit the button for curbside in the order email I received plus in addtion to that I called the curbsite number listed. First no one answered the phone. I called again and they said they would bring my order out to me. I waited at least 10-15 minutes and then had to go inside to get it. That isnt curbside service. When inside, they said they had been really busy. There was NO ONE WAITING. It wasnt busy at all.
Not Professional & Not Concerned!1. I was not notified my online order was ready. 2. I came for a pick up and was not asked for a solid 10 minutes or so due to the Rep assisting a customer. I couldve been in and out! A male clerk finally came over to tend to the line of customers that were waiting, including myself.3. My online order specifically says global frosted for the top cover of my spiral binder. As you can see in the pic, they printed plain frosted. I expressed my concern and this is the response I got from the female clerk that made the order...I made exactly what she ordered.-_- The male clerk checked their stock and said they didnt have global frosted covers and that he cant make what they dont have appear.Keep in mind, I paid extra for this cover and didnt get it. There was no apology, no let us compensate you for that...nothing but an oh well attitude. They couldve even checked another stores inventory or gave me the option to pick up from a different store that could produce what I ordered. This order is for a BIG project at work that I spent a lot of time on. To just get something I didnt ask for is upsetting.If you are particular about your work...DONT GO TO THIS STORE! 6401 W. I went in for a simple task of having some binding done at the copy and print center, and had an exceptional experience! Laura helped me and she truly went above and beyond her call of duty to help me! She demonstrates great customer service with excitement, customization and personalization!!! Dont waste your time going here, the most incompetent people on earth work at this location. Not only do they lie to on the phone but when you drive 30 minutes to exchange an item they refused to return it for the amount you paid. Then they lie straight to your face when you ask them about said conversation. I wonder if theyre still in business, God forbid you accidentally buy the wrong thing because youll never get your full amount back.
The employees are courteous and polite. As for the selection, there are plenty of supplies to choose from at great prices. Make sure to sign up for Office Depots and Office Maxs coupons.

HORRIBLE customer service at the copy desk. Just walked out of the store for the FOURTH time and my (very small) order is STILL not correct. I have now invested in extra paper to reprint the book that they hole punched backwards and bound out of order. So frustrating to me. I have been kind and patient at every visit (they arent going to wait on me any quicker if Im nasty to them), but the amount of time they leave me waiting is unacceptable. I was in the store twenty minutes before closing and was told they would not do my project while I waited, despite the fact that there were FOUR employees at the registers doing absolutely nothing. So now I have to make a FIFTH trip back there tomorrow to pick up my book. I gave the girl my receipt and told her I absolutely expected to be reimbursed for my order and she told me she would ask the manager if it would be ok. WHAT????? It is always OK to give a customer their money back after you screw up their order FOUR TIMES, refuse to make it right on the spot, and force the customer to incur extra material costs. UNBELIEVABLE to me. I will never do business there again.
We ordered and paid for filing cabinets on Jan 4 to be picked up later; on Jan 7 we came to the store to pick them up but the cabinets were not in the front.A black shirt asked about the order, and I was explaining, when MR RED SHIRT (CB) interrupted me and said STOP, I DO NOT KNOW YOU BUT I DO KNOW YOU meaning my spouse. I explained that we were here together to pick up the order upon which MR RED SHIRT interrupted again saying I DO NOT KNOW YOU and would only talk to my spouse.A black shirt eventually found the cabinets in the back and helped us load them into our vehicle (hence two stars instead of one).BOTH my spouse and I have been to the Plano Pkwy store dozens of times in past years, and ordered many products, service and supplies.Is this the way you treat a repeat customer simply because you dont know them ??The rude disrespectful treatment I received from CB means that we will not likely be using this store in the future.

Went to this OfficeMax in the afternoon, found what I needed but they have a rat problem. A rat ran across the isle I was on and I noticed rat poop on and note book I almost picked up. I told the manager and he said, oh yeah we have a problem with them. Just FYI, Im giving 2 stars because they had what I needed and the price was good but come on call an exterminator please thats gross.

Ive been coming to this location for weekly and monthly print services for work since 2011. During that time Ive worked with some pretty amazing people that made getting orders processed easy and convenient. However, over the last few years Ive noticed increasing turnover and with that a serious decline in customer service. The errors in orders and false promises for pick up times have caused me to use Staples online ordering for a more reliable and consistent experience. This week I was in a bind to complete a small project. I dropped off my order on Tuesday morning and was given the guarantee it would be completed by 10:00am on Wednesday. My first red flag was when the lady helping had no clue how to make my legal size copies on legal paper. The whole ordeal to just get the correct copies took more than 5 minutes. I left with my fingers crossed that my order would be correct at pick up. I stopped in to pick up my order around noon on Wednesday (two hours after guaranteed time). After waiting several minutes I was informed by the same lady that I guess no one did it after I left. She then assured me that she would make sure the person after her completed it. Im sure the look on my face said everything so she said she could probably start it before she left. I told her Id be back at opening the next day (Thursday). You can probably guess what happened next...I walked in at 9:00am Thursday morning to an incomplete order and the same lady again responded I cant believe they didnt do it last night. I proceeded to walk around the store for the next fifteen minutes until my order was complete. I wont be back.
I purchased the same day business cards online.The guy at the printing center was nice and helpful as far as getting my order done in a timely manner, but I followed all of the bleed and trim rules the gave online and their machines still cut the cards off center and trimmed my graphic.Just go to a professional printer and pay the difference!
I understand its back to school but the signs for multiple items were incorrect and none of the employees could tell me prices or answer my questions about the items. The cashiers seemed too into themselves and their conversations to be of any use but they did get my purchases all rang up correct so...? The customer service here was pathetic, go to Target instead. Also, despite coupons I believe their prices are still higher than other big box stores.
I own and operate a local plumbing company and I have 4 young children, so to say my time is limited is an understatement. I continue to shop at this Office Max location primarily because of Richard, the store manager.Its rare to walk into a big chain store and have someone who remembers you, much less someone who takes the time to listen to the needs of your growing company.Richard has never tried to over-sell me, in fact, over the years Ive purchased everything you can imagine and his suggestions are always perfect for our companys size and needs.I dont have time to do all the research Id like to do before purchasing office supplies and equipment. I appreciate Richard as a behind the scenes resource that Ive been able to count on as our business has grown. Hes a huge asset to Office Max. I made a purchase at a different location yesterday afternoon, but used the wrong credit card because I have 2 that are identical so I stopped by this location, because it is near my house, to see if they would just refund the purchase to the first card and recharge it to my other card. Chris the customer service manager immediately had an attitude when I explained what I would like to do, saying he wanted to see my receipt. I handed it to him and he looked it over for a minute and said Im gonna send you back to the other store because Im not gonna do this for you. I said ok Im just curious why not and he said because he has the right not do it if he doesnt want to. I said ok, well Ill make sure not to me back here again thank you and walked away saying a good day over my shoulder as I went. He then yelled to me because I was walking around the registers to exit the store, I always do I dont know what a bad day is and I said thats great with a thumbs up. He told me to come back again to which I replied that that would not be happening and he said great we wont lose any sleep over it. I thought about it after I left that Id like to let the store manager know how their staff treats customers when they arent around, so my husband who was with me ran back inside and said Hey I need your name to which Chris rudely replied of course you do and then my husband asked for the store mangers name Chris says well Im a shift supervisor side stepping the question and my husband repeated again that he wanted the General Managers name... I myself am a manager working in customer service and I would never treat a paying customer with disrespect and an attitude like this gentleman did tonight. I wasnt asking for anything crazy, wasnt asking for a refund without a receipt or trying to get something for free, just wanted to switch the charge from one card to another with both cards and my ID ready there was no need for the attitude I received the moment I told him what I was hoping to do. Ill still go to office depot, just to the location off of Forest lane and highway 75 where I have never received anything but great customer service, even when processing a transaction just like the one I was hoping to do here tonight .

As a Business Select customer I have never been as disappointed at the customer service partially provide by the Print Center. The young lady working was rude, unenthusiastic, and definitely unhelpful. I hope that the next person OfficeMax employs to help with customer service, IN PERSON, will be a better choice.

This location has a TERRIBLE rat infestation. Theres droppings everywhere. I went to grab some m&Ms and several of the packages had been chewed through by rats and I even saw one run down the aisle as I was shopping. I highly suggest going to a different location until they get this problem taken care of.

Disappointing as we have previously ordered all of our printing needs through this location for the last several years. Get a call today that they cant print out my to go menus to a specific format that I have previously ordered before, for years and as recently just a couple of months ago. Frustrating, as I will be finding a new place for my printing needs.

I was their today shopping for office supplies and as I brought my stuff to the front register I walked up behind this store employee and as I got closer to this AA employee I said to him Hey Big Boy. I said it jokingly. He turns around and immediately says to me “Don’t call me boy.” Then he said “Address me as Chris, that’s the way it is in 2018.” I put my stuff back and will never be back. I’m a white guy and he totally turned nothing into a racist ordeal. He meant boy like I was saying he was my slave and calling him a boy. By saying it’s like this in 2018 he saying the days of racist slave holders are gone. Basically he turned a joking Hello phrase into a racial statement. I’ve herd this guy talking about marching in protest against the police and other marches where BLM attends. I’m telling you, this guy wreaks of Black Extremism Activism. It’s a shame people are racist.

Typically wouldnt put a review for a store like this, but the employees here were very kind to me, im the age where i should know how to use a usb in a printer but i dont, the older gentleman working the paper station was kind enough to help me and even when theusb didnt work on the printer machine printed for me at another station and was courteous the whole time!
