I only use Texas Pure products in my garden. I buy all of their products in bulk. I normally have it delivered to my house.I love their aged mulch and their compost in particular.

Good variety of Mulch and Mix Soil

Great quality products at a great prices. Only downside is there seems to always be a long line. I wish they could split the mulch buyer line from the brush drop off line so it could move faster. I made the mistake of going to Living Earth for compost one day when the line was long. Living Earth was a much lower quality compost. I regretted it.

Can get better deal for mulch and other product. Plus you can take all stuff sitting in garage collecting dust except paint and gasoline products for free disposal.

Crowded, rude employees and extremely long wait times. The lines overflow out into the street causing traffic.

Wow this place is busy!! Went to grab some mulch and compost. So far so good with the products though. Mixed some compost into some low spots in the lawn and the grass is filling in and looking really good!

Waiting pretty long nowadays. But everything else is good. Bulk mulch, compost. The place smells bad because of the dumpster near by.

This is the best place to go for compost, planting mix and mulch to buy in large quantities. there are times when no one is there to load if you buy bagged ones and you have to do it yourself. I hope they open one near Irving, Coppell area.

Adjacent to the Plano recycle center / dump. Great to see brush and clippings promptly mulched and recycled. The prices are mediocre for purchase which is odd considering this mulch all amounts to local mixed brush, mulched fresh (if you watch the best prices per cubic ft at Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot etc). But I applaud the fact they are helping recycle. Also where you can bring collapsed cardboard to ensure it is mulched and reused.

Just ordered four cubic yards of planting soil which I believe is 108 cubic feet of soil. The product is great however the delivery process was very unsatisfactory. We gave specific delivery instructions asking for the soil to be placed into our garden beds. We also specified that we would like to be called to give specific delivery instructions. Instead of placing the soil in our gardening beds it was dumped right on our driveway. We never recieved a phone call where we could further specify the drop off instructions, and even then we were very clear with our written instructions. We have been forced to shovel and move the soil for the past few days because of this. We spent over $200 dollars and now we have a lot of extra work to do. I attached a picture from our receipt showing our instructions, and the two pictures show about how much soil was left after shoveling for a few hours.

Great mulch and friendly people. Found a few pieces of non-organic material in mulch but very minimal and no problem especially for the price.

This place is a disaster! Long, slow lines of cars and trucks to get in. Not managed very well. If you need to buy bulk mulch, dont waste your time here...

Excellent products to purchase for you vegetables, plants and landscape! It is a drive thru where you pay at a building. There can be long lines due to just one line for ppl to purchase products as well as those dropping off cuttings.

Who knew you could get a truckload of mulch for an affordable price. Now I do. Highly recommend as an alternative to box home improvement stores. They even have bagged options if thats easier for you.

I purchase compost for my new raised bed gardens here after hearing about it from the Collin County Newcomer conference held in McKinney last year. I love the concept of recycling from citizens waste. I was blown away by the facility and the great work going on there to recycle. I wish my city of Parker would join in. The quality of the compost was excellent. My garden flourished and I will be back again year after year. Thank you for what you do.

Got a ton of bulk mulch for cheap (ok not an actual ton, just 3 cubic yards).Great price, very quality product, and they loaded it quickly.Signage at the place is a bit confusing and I had to wait in the line for people to dump all their brush and tree clippings, but the wait wasnt long.Ill be back for sure (or if the one in Melissa opens soon), always great to support the local community and a local business.

Waiting in line for 1:30 hours its unsafe for traffic poor service 1 cashiers isn’t enough we deserve a better service for buying products.

It is curious why they charge you to bring in dead bushes trees and leaves when they create mulch out of them that they sell back to you? Why do they charge us for bringing them the very things free of charge they use to sell back to us as much?

The traffic is very poorly managed. There were two lines with no labels. I waited 1hr in line and they said it was the wrong one and would not let me in. They were very rude about it.. Huge waste of time never going back.

I had a load of tree branches and clippings. This was by far the easiest drop off Ive done. Great customer service.

I always buy their mulch and garden soil In bulk. They are inexpensive and conveniently deliver to your house. Good use of recycling tree trimming.

Took branches and shrub trimmings there for recycling. As a Plano resident they let you take 2 loads a month, just show your water bill. Looks like they turn all the yard trimmings into mulch to sell. I didnt purchase any but looks good...

Building above ground garden. First time user from Rowlett. Wow I was impressed of the operation going on here. After four truck loads didnt see any trash in compost. What I read on comments other people wrote I was worried. Im glad I made choice coming to Texas pure products. Great product will use it again.

Excellent product at an excellent price!

I keep getting surprised and disappointed by their fees. Last year, the delivery fee was slightly more than I expected because they just went by my zip code and not my actual address to calculate the delivery fee. Wasnt much, so I got over it. I wasnt totally pleased with their compost because I picked out lots of little sippy straws (like a previous review mentioned), pieces of glass, plastic and other stuff. This year, I wanted lots more compost for starting a second bed, but this time it wanted to charge me double the delivery fee. When I called, apparently there is a 10 yard MAXIMUM that is not disclosed anywhere on their website. Enough is enough. Im getting my soil from Good Earth Soil this year. Its more expensive, but its much better quality soil, has a neutral pH, and delivery is way less.

Excellent to look for products like soil mulch

AVOID Texas Pure soil products. We purchased (x24) Bulk Pro-Bedding Mix to fill 3 3x5x20ft raised garden beds (~$1000 of bulk soil). This pro mix has high amounts of trash, so be prepared to sift it before you use it, or live with continually picking out trash as we have. Plastic forks, knives and straws, LOTS of stir-straws (?) bag remnants, wrappers, strings, metal and glass and all kinds of disgusting and unidentifiable scraps. And even if you do get the trash out, the soil is HIGHLY alkaline, leaving your plants stunted and struggling to survive. We have had to spend many weekends picking out trash, and almost another $1000 on amending and continuously testing the soil, and are still not to a point of neutral. We are almost to the point of paying someone to remove it as soon as we find an alternative.
