My 9 year old took violin at the Plano location and we had a wonderful experience. The staff answers emails and texts promptly and they are always extremely friendly and helpful. The two teachers we worked with were highly qualified. We ended up having to take a break from lessons but would not hesitate to return in the future.

My 8 year old son has been learning guitar with Mr.Kevin for the last 1 year in the Plano location. He is such an awesome teacher and very patient with kids. My son loves his classes and we love to see him happy :) Also the admin staff are awesome, they respond to emails/calls like flash and are always friendly.

Picking up an instrument as an adult has been quite fun. Ive been taking guitar lessons with Kevin for 2 1/2 years and he is able to help me make progress every week. I really appreciate his patience and help trying to become a musician. Additionally the staff has been very helpful helping schedule and re-schedule classes as needed.

We love 4/4! My daughter and I both take drum lessons from Eric and it’s been a challenging but fun experience! If you’re looking for a way to connect with your teen - this is a fun way to do it. Eric is incredibly patient (especially with an old, slow learner like me!) and is always positive and encouraging. Also, the administrative staff for 4/4 is outstanding- they respond so quickly to emails! Everyone is always so friendly, helpful and competent!

My kids have been learning piano and guitar at Plano location for more than a year (on and off due to our schedule change). Every teacher theyve been through is excellent. My approach to find a teacher is trying a few teachers before we finalize the candidate. It does take more time but we were able to find good fit always. 4/4 School of Music has amazing service. They reply emails fast and always call me back shortly when missing my call. They always accommodate our needs and offer multiple options. All my experiences with them are very positive. Highly recommend !

Great music school with excellent facility. The piano teacher Charlotte at Plano studio is just awesome. Her way of teaching is just exceptional. She teaches in such a way that it makes learning fun. My 5 year old daughter was super excited to go to her class every week. Highly recommend 4/4 school of music and especially Charlotte to others.

I wouldnt have thought that only 30 minutes a week would make such a difference, but it has. My 11 year old has been seeing Rebekah at that Plano location for piano for less than a year, but her skill set has improved dramatically. Rebekah is very enthusiastic and kind and has been a really good fit for my kid. My child went from knowing basically nothing to understanding fairly complex rhythms and melodies fairly quickly. Its been a joy to see my kid succeed on her own terms.

Our boys take piano classes at 4/4 School of Music in Plano and we are very happy! Their teacher (Mr Michael) is great! The customer service is excellent too, prompt communication and follow up. Highly recommend them!

4/4 in Plano has been a great experience for us. Eric teaches our son the drums, and he is fantastic. Our son is on the autism spectrum, and we werent sure if he could even make it through music lessons, but Eric has been so accommodating and shows him multiple different ways to learn so that he gets it. Hes so patient, and our son always enjoys his lesson time.

My son has been taking guitar lessons from Clay for more than 2 years, and I couldnt be any happier with the progress hes made. From tabulation to chord progression, and scales, both acoustic and electric, Clay really inspires my son to work hard at guitar. The administrative staff working behind the scenes are simply fantastic! If I need to cancel, reschedule, or change times, they respire almost immediately, and go above and beyond to always accommodate. I cant imagine ever leaving. My daughter will also go here once she decides on an instrument.

Chris is a great teacher. Very professional in his approach. Gives you the right mix of theory and practicals in every class and makes it interesting. Chooses the right kind of songs to suit your voice and teaches all the intricacies very patiently. Of course a wonderful singer too! :-)

Highly recommend Jordan. He has taught piano to my 7 year old for the last year. He’s great with her - he’s patient, funny, and progresses her learning at a comfortable pace for her level. The admin for 4/4 is fantastic too- super responsive and accommodating with our ever changing schedule. Overall, a wonderful experience for both parent and child.

This place is great! My son has been taking guitar lessons for a couple of years and Ive just signed my niece up for guitar lessons during the summer. Kevin their teacher is phenomenal!! Every encounter Ive had with them from emails to reschedule or calls as a reminder, EVERY single person is amazing!!

Highly recommend Ms. Alexis (Plano location) as a teacher, shes extremely patient with kids and is a top notch tutor. My 5 year old loved her lessons and we saw great improvement in her singing and her interest in music.

I went to 4/4 because I had zero singing experience and had never performed in front of anyone before and wanted to sing a song and play it on the piano at my wedding. I had very little time to prepare and 4/4 was super flexible with me! They fit me in with a bunch of lessons all in the last few weeks leading up to my wedding and when I performed the song, a lot of people cried and came up to me later to tell me how beautiful it was so, I’d say it was a success! Their staff is really sweet and their teachers are awesome!!

Weve had a great experience at 4/4 School of Music. My son has taken drumset lessons here for about 3 years now. The teachers are very good, and the staff is extremely responsive. I definitely recommend them.UPDATE: My daughter has now been taking piano lessons at 4/4 for a few years. She had two good teachers during that time. They listened to and responded to her interests and goals and had a great demeanor with her.

We have been really happy with 4/4 School of Music. My daughter takes piano from Ms. Simmons and I love how encouraging she is and how she makes the lesson fun. She not only teaches how to play piano but also about music and music theory. My daughter always looks forward to going to her lesson!

Outstanding school and overall experience. Kevin is my instructor and he has a very personal process I enjoy immensely. He got a list of my favorite music which he broke down in to basic instructions and we built our way up to them. I highly recommend it for anyone wishing to have a patient but challenging experience.

Mr Kevin taught my son for a few years now. He was great, encouraging and “fun” was always a word my son used to describe. 4/4 is great to work with as well. Highly recommend!

Clay is a great guitarist that wholeheartedly cares about our kid. He only started his guitar lessons but he loves going to 4/4 every week. I fully recommend 4/4 and Clay to anybody that wants to start with this instrument. You will love him and the classes!!

My two daughters went to Plano location and had Chris J as their teacher for voice and piano lessons for 3 yrs. I had to cancel their classes due to conflicts in schedules with other activities. They absolutely loved the classes. He is knowledgeable and professional and I recommend him to anyone who is interested in taking the lessons at 4/4 school of music.

My daughter has special needs, for years I could not find anybody willing to take her as a student for any kind of musical instrument. I came across 4/4 music school while browsing for something else online. When I called the school and told them what I was looking for, the excitement in Ms Bonnies voice when she told me that they do take kids with special needs, almost made me cry (the good kind of cry of course). Our teacher Ms Susan Taylor was like the best piano teacher ever. She was patient with my daughter and did not give up untill she found the best approach my daughter.

I enrolled both of my kids in piano at 4/4 School of Music. It has been a great experience. Their teacher, Sean Kim, has been very patient and creative in his instruction. We really like him. I would recommend this school to anyone!

I absolutely love this school! I’ve been taking lessons at 4/4 for 10 months now and Chris has helped me expand my voice tremendously! He’s a phenomenal teacher and is patient and passionate.

My son looks forward to his lessons with Charlotte every week. She is full of enthusiasm and takes an active interest in his progress. She picks music that she knows would appeal to him and digs into her own experiences to find songs he would like. I take guitar classes with Justin, in Clackamas, OR. My co-workers all know that Friday is Guitar Class Day because I look forward to class each week. Justin does a great job of teaching a mixture of theory, and practical/fun skills to always keep things interesting. I have been having so much fun learning guitar, that now my 77 yr old dad is taking classes with Justin too!

My 8 year old son has been talking guitar lessons at 4/4 in Plano for a little over a year now. His teacher, Kevin, does a great job! He connects well with him, keeps him interested, and is very patient. That is not always an easy thing to do with kids at that age. On top of that, 4/4 is always easy to work with, be it scheduling changes or whatever comes up. I would highly recommend them and Kevin in Plano.

His instructor is professional and organized, and does a great job keeping our son on task during the lesson, while still having fun.
