This place blows the competition out of the water! Always clean, always stocked and always quick even when they are busy! All of their products are constantly restocked and prices always updated with thier coupon books. These tools are cheap and have a great return policy if it doesnt work on you. I have seen the same tools at other hardware stores for 3x-4x the cost of this place its a no brained to stock your garage with tools from here. 10/10 shopping here forever.

This was the cleanest, neatest Harbor freight I have ever been in. The employees were most helpful and loved my dog. It felt like I was in an actual store instead of a goodwill with junk thrown everywhere. Shelves were well stocked and priced. The line at checkout got long fast and someone stepped right up to open another register. It was a great experience.

I love this store, am a member and frequently visit the location in my home town. I had the worst experience with a very persistently rude female cashier 8/28 @ 9:30am. I questioned a price of an item I had just bought because I remembered it being different, she asked me to show her so I did. I pointed to a slightly different model of the item which costed less and was located 1 row above the item I purchased. It ended up that I looked at one price and grabbed the one below it on accident. I said oh I see, ya youre right I must of made a mistake. She responded with yes, I know. Do you understand everything now? Or do I have to show you again? Very condescending and not a way to treat customers, no matter how upset you are with that ugly haircut. Will not come back.

Well i went to Harbor freight and tools in plano. I was excited because the closest one for me was Richardson. And when I got there there it was closed.. Not sure why but on the website it said it was open.

A decent tool at a fair price. I will say they certainly lacked having any customer service around other than the very nice lady at the front register and after she had called someone to help me the one employee that did show up was more than helpful and very polite. The store was very clean and so is the parking lot and in a very accessible location

I live this little place. The staff is friendly and amazing they know just what you need all the time. The store itself has a little of everything I could spend a fortune in there (I think my husband has. Haha)

The Plano store is clean, well organized, well stocked and service is very good. I have shopped at Harbor Freight for more than a decade. I was very pleased when the Plano store opened. Generally good products at reasonable prices. I recently had to return a purchase than did not work for my situation. The return was a very satisfactory experience. I a very pleased to have HF in our area.

Great pricing on tools that can be git or miss. All N all, you get what you pay for but this place has some great tools at a great price. I dont suggest purchasing long term investment tools unless theyre cheap enough to use as use and toss per job. Many products are priced accordingly and Id prefer it that way. I purchased a 9 dollar pneumatic cut off wheel like 9 years ago and it still runs strong with typical air tool oil

Harbor freight has all the specialty tools you need at a value price! Ive seen other big stores buy products from this store and upsell them. The customer service is superb is well!

Great prices but the guy insisted on helping me find my wheelbarrow wheel... And then gave me one that was too small and air filled. I had to wait for him to go away and then go back and get the larger foam one that I wanted 🤣

Harbor Freight is like a candy store if you use tools for a living or for a hobby. The longer I shop, the more things I realize I need. Mostly Chinese made, so you have to balance whether its worth financing a repressive regime to get tools for half (sometimes 1/4) the big-box price.

Harbor Freight is a great store for inexpensive tool and building supplies. This store is very clean and super quiet 🤫. (Wierd) The cashier I spoke with tried to be helpful but he did direct me to the wrong section of the store to find the item I was looking for. But it just so happened that I found it as I was making my way to the cashier. But I like Harbor Freight👍🏽. If you need inexpensive tools, knives, camping gear 🏕, and all kinds of other handyman supplies, I certainly recommend going to Harbor Freight before visiting their higher priced competitors.

You know that you should find a coupon, you know that the tools are cheap. You can often buy a tool for the price of renting one at the orange and blue stores. The tools are almost always good enough, dont confuse that with good. Their higher end tools (Hercules) are really quite good, but they are not as cheap. They are as good or better than some of the better name brand tools for an often substantially lower price.As I said at the start, dont forget your coupon!

This used to be one of my favorite shopping places. Over time, things have changed for the worse. They started implementing a restocking fee policy for some items (even for something that was sealed and never opened; and its not clear what items apply or not). And most recently, the 20% discount coupon got more and more limited. It went from applies to everything (even sale items), to everything except 3-day Parking Lot Sale, then excluding certain items or brands, and as of yesterday, it now no longer applies to sale items (eventhough the coupon doesnt exclude it in the detail print---at least not yet). What used to be a pretty good deal, is now just ok. So like other retailers that went extinct, they have begun to lose touch with their customer base and what made them attractive in the previous years. This is the beginning of the end.

Its perfect, reasonable tools at a great price and the people here are super friendly. Ive been to other locations that are either too large or too understaffed to get help. Ive never had a problem here - Ive consistently been able to get help finding those odd-ball tools that dont quite fit a category. I love HF for infrequent tools that I dont want to spend a fortune on.

The employees know their store and its contents very well. I asked a cashier and she directed me straight to the product row-area and shelf. If you know Harborfreight, you appreciate that. Im very impressed by this store, its employees, and Manager.

I bought a cordless drill. It came with a charger for the battery, but I didnt know that when I bought it. So I bought a separate battery and charger. I realized my mistake when I got home, but didnt return it right away. So I lost my receipt. I took the separate battery/charger back today and they would NOT refund it. It is CLEARLY one of their products, unopened, but unless I had a receipt or had given them my phone number when I checked out, they would not refund it. I talked to the store supervisor and asked for a store credit...no dice. I told him I dont give out my phone number to any store. And he replied, well thats what you get for not giving us your number. What a (fill in the blank). Will never shop there again.

Off brand names with off brand prices for the most part, just a wee bit cheaper than Northern Tool. Great selection of gloves and other similar items. Larger automotive section than I realized. If you need to outfit a shop on a budget this is your place.

Like their tools section. Few items were better than Home Depot and Lowes. Easy walk in through the aisle and quick check out. I got the tool what I wanted and that’s what it matters.Update:The tools 🛠 I have been using for a year now.. they are all good and sturdy. I am happy with my purchase.

If you need cheap Chinese made tools. This is where to buy them. For most tools if I need them once in a while for small jobs I will buy them cheap. If I used them every day for critical job, I would buy better brands. Just know what your buying is worth the price you pay.
