We use trucks with a lot of custom hydraulics and accidentally broke a critical pressure hose on one of them during the morning, risking a lot of work during the day. Ben from PirTek came out and had us in perfect shape and back on the road in 30 minutes! Working on a motorcycle project, and I didnt want to wait the 2 weeks to have custom lines made from the big name brake line companies. Went here, and not only was the technician very knowledgeable about motorcycle brakes, but he had me in and out in about 30 minutes, with a new set of braided lines! They fit up perfectly, price was comparable to the other companies (minus the wait time), and Im back on the road.

I had a great experience Pirtek today. The banjo fitting on my CJ-5 brake line sprung a leak due to corrosion. I took the bum line into Pirtek and walked out 20 minutes later with a brand new one. They made it to order while I waited, and it cost about 1/3 the price of buying one from the auto parts store. I will definitely go here for my future hydraulic line needs.

I needed a full set of air conditioning hoses and fittings assembled for a 1935 Ford street rod project. I cut the hoses and pre-assembled them with my fittings. Pirtek assembled and crimped them exactly as per my instructions. This was a very complex project due to the limited space in the engine compartment, but it worked out perfectly.

I have two experiences with this location. First, they were extremely helpful with sourcing some hard to find early JIS brake line fittings for my restoration project. I went back for fuel line fittings, and the sales counter was not open, despite being within the advertised hours for the sales counter being open. 3 stars, because that is the average of my two experiences.

Outstanding craftsmanship! I have a modified Jeep Scrambler and was facing issues with having to either match aftermarket brake lines to the original Jeep hard-lines or to the upgraded GM 3/4 ton calipers. Mike at the Pirtek in Plano to the rescue. He fabricated a custom, braided steel brake line that had the correct fittings for the Jeep on the frame-side and the GM calipers at the wheel side. Whats more, he added swivel fittings to address a binding issue that I faced when off-roading! These custom lines are better than anything I could source from the aftermarket and were also a more economical solution. I would give 10 stars if possible.

I have an old zero turn mower that had old, worn out leaky weird hydraulic T hose. I took it in and they built up a custom one for me in 30 minutes. These are not cheap-, but the quality of the Pirtek hose is way better than the original OEM hose- I dont think I ever will need to replace this hose ever again. I have added them to my approved repair place vendor list- and they do hoses for brake lines, old cars and such so they advertise that they can sometimes save hose coupling ends for restoration work.
