Giving a great big two thumbs up to BMW Motorcycles of FORT LAUDERDALE ! This place is truly great with a wonderful staff. Id give it 6 stars if I could. Jennifer (and everyone) is top notch, their professionalism is only eclipsed by their patience and winning attitude toward their customers. No pretense here, just very helpful and honest people! with an attention to detail that is sorely missing from many other shops.

Highly recommend! After looking all over the east coast for rare BMW, I found it at BMW Ft Lauderdale. I couldnt be happier. They were in competition with one other dealer that tried to inflate the advertised price by almost $3,000.BMW Ft Lauderdale, however, added $0 junk fees and performed a full service at no additional charge. And I was out the door in 30 mins.Mike was my representative and he was in constant communication even on his day off. I drove from NC to FL to purchase from them and I would do it again. Thank you for being an honest dealer from start to finish.

Horrible customer service. I called to service my BMW bike and not only was put on hold for a long time but then told that they need to send me a quote vía email. It took Karen several days to send me the quote and when I call to schedule they have a 2 week queue. I looked for other options because 2 weeks was too much and they happen to have the monopoly of service in the area so I called again to schedule and now the wait time is longer and the price of the job is more. UNBELEIVABLE!

I bought a BMW GS in Lake Worth from a private owner. I live in NJ. When I called the dealership where it was purchased. Karen was awesome. She took the time to check service records without hesitation. When I decided to have service, tires and a battery done prior to my ride home I went to Ft Lauderdale rather than a closer dealer just because Karen was so awesome. I was not disappointed! Service was great. The ten was knowledgeable, helpful and thorough. Great dealership!

In 1990 I was riding a Honda Shadow and needed a battery. Someone told me that a BMW dealer on 441 in Fort Lauderdale may have one. I stopped by and ended up purchasing a used BMW. The shop was very small and family owned and operated. I was impressed on how friendly and helpful everyone was. I was particular impressed with their mechanic (Raymond) who has since retired to North Carolina. His son Tyler still works there and is just as helpful as his Dad.Since then I have purchased several BMWs from them, At least eight including a 650 scooter. Presently I have the scooter and a 2015 RT. If anyone has not ridden one of the scooters I recommend you do. I love mine. This shop typifies what a small family business represents.Every time I go into the shop I fell like I am part of the family. I have all the confidence with the technicians and they have never let me down. A small example is today, I stopped by to check the air in my tires. Tyler was outside and he said let me do it for you. This is typical of the whole crewWhen I purchase a vehicle I not only purchase the vehicle, but the service department, and the camaraderie felt there. Thanks to the entire staff. I would never purchase a bike anywhere else.

I have been buying motorcycles from Fred and his great family at 441 Cycles since 1996. Probably bought at least ten bikes. I am always impressed by their professionalism, sense of caring and taking me in as a member of their larger family. They always take care of me, price reasonably, and follow up as necessary with excellent customer service. And when I call them, they say, Hi, Jonathan. Not because of caller ID but because they know me and that is the kind of people they are. I am very picky and dont write such positive reviews as this easily, by the way. So I mean every word I have written.

I was very warmly greeted when walking in for the first time off the street to this dealership. I had spoken to them on the phone before driving to there store to make sure that the S1000XR that I had my eye on for a couple weeks was still available. I asked for a test ride and was taken care of immediately. About 90 mins later, I was riding away on my new bike. They were super helpful, friendly, understanding and more than willing to go out of there way to make there customer happy. I spoke briefly to the service manager as well and I know that I will continue to visit this dealer for all my future service and bike needs. Dealers like this that are focused on BMW motorcycles are becoming harder to find. This is one of those gems still out there. A huge plus was the floor employee talked to me about a great local ride that is perfect to really test my new bike. Very cool people, relaxed atmosphere, top notch service, This is a GREAT dealership representing our beloved BMW EXTREMELY WELL. Thank you all, the bike is SUPERB and I love every minute I am riding it. This is my 4th BMW Motorcycle.

3/6/2016I want to extend my appreciation to Tyler and the team at BMW. I dropped my bike off for maintenance just before I went on a skiing trip. I subsequently broke my leg on that trip and the team held my bike for me with NO hassles. They really know how to support their customers.....THANKS A BUNCH !!!!!6/28/2015I got my K1200 back about a month ago. Tyler and his team stepped up and corrected the issues previously noted. Ive ridden it for approx 500 miles since with no issues. Thanks Tyler I really appreciate you getting this done.5/14/15I want to amend my review. Tyler the service manager contacted me after my earlier review and was genuinely concerned about my experience. He has agreed to rectify all issues. I dropped the bike off last Saturday so he can correct any short comings we had in our first attempt. After I get it back Ill update my review accordingly.===================================================================5/1/15I took my BMW K1200lt in for 36000 mile service. This is basically a $1000.00 fluid change and safety check. During the process they noted that my front tire was marginal and I had them do that as well. After the service, I found the following:Rear brake line is leakingFront brake pads were shot. I specifically asked them to check the brakes.2 recalls that they said needed to be done were never doneThe tire they installed was 15g out of balance and vigorously vibrated the front endI also have a fuel leakI contacted them via their contact page over 2 weeks ago and havent heard back yet.I would not recommend them to anyone.

Review №52

A year and a half ago I went to this dealership to find a good bike for some road trips to help a ailing family member. I purchased a used 2005 R1200RT with a little over 14,000 miles on it. My decision to purchase this particular bike came by a personal endorsement for the owner of the dealership as he stated it was the most reliable and WELL MAINTAINED bike there. He was childhood friends with the owner and was extremely meticulous about the care of his bike (warning bells should have been going off here).A month later on my first trip the bike had an issue and broke down on I-95. It was towed to the closest dealership in S.C. The problem was a recall on a fuel strip inside the tank. The recall was only to be repaired if an issue arose per BMW. So no fault on the Ft. Lauderdale dealership. However, since I was now going to now be there overnight I had them do a complete inspection on the bike to assure my safety. The next morning I was informed by this Authorized BMW dealership/service center that my tires are dry rotted, the Electronic Shock was gone, both front brake discs were warped and the 12,000 mile service had never been completed according to BMW records. To say I was shocked and upset is a marginalization of my feelings. That was the second bike I had purchased from this nice family owned business. I drove past the Miami dealership only 15 minutes from my house to support them. I have been so upset I have waited a year and a half to now put it in writing and not be so hostile. At the Authorized Dealer / Service Center I had the fuel strip and 12,000 mile service completed, new tires, front discs and shock replaced. There I was out of state and caught between a rock and a hard place. My family needed me so I had to pay over 50% of what I had just purchased the bike for. As a note, the bike was over priced by market value at the time but based on its appearance and the whole hearted endorsement from the second generation owner an authorized BMW dealer/service center I did not argue as my need/wanting safety and security over rode simple money issues at the time.So in my lengthy reflection of this event I have concluded that one of two possibilities occurred. Either, the Dealership owner is a total liars and thieves or completely incompetent. In either case I can not trust nor would I recommend them in any way positive to buy, sell, service or advise me or even an enemy in any matter. Especially anything regarding a motorcycle. So here I am today with a bike of street value (at absolute best) $7,000.00 and have $13,000.00 in to it. Yes, let the buyer beware. My bad for trusting him. So please learn from my EXTREMELY costly lesson and avoid any dealings with this dealership or service department.

First class operation being run here. I would give them 10 stars if Google plus allowed me too. Dont take your BMW motorcycle anywhere else in South Florida for service, parts or even to buy a new one!!! They are so friendly and knowledgable. I really enjoy going to this dealership to have my bike serviced. I have owned two BMWs both being GSs and I wouldnt take it anywhere else for service in South Florida. From Tyler (Service Manager) Julie (parts) Jennifer (sales) I have learned so much. Even there techs, Dalton & Justin have come out to explain certain things to me at times. I was a new BMW owner 8 years ago and they always answered my dumb questions without any hesitation or making me feel dumb. That meant a lot to me because I was trying to learn as much as possible about my new bike. I recently moved away and am going to miss dealing with these folks. Keep up the good work BMW Motorcycles of Fort Lauderdale!!! Thank you for being who you are in the industry.

For anyone thinking about going here, just dont do it.Im in Homestead and decided to skip the Miami dealer based on online reviews and head up to Ft. Lauderdale. I made an appointment for the 30,000 mile service and to have them look at what was causing my 04 r1150r to idle rough. I thought maybe the throttle bodies were out of sync and just need adjusting.First off, the place is a bit of a mess, the service managers counter had papers everywhere and while I was waiting and browsing the store there were little piles of debris swept behind clothing racks. Ok, not that big of a deal, but this is a BMW dealer and most of the ones Ive been in are nice, tidy, modern, organized and clean., But again, all that isnt really a deal breaker, Im not looking for champagne and la-z-boys while I wait.A guy shows up and wants a set a new tires, he has no appointment and was told on Wednesdays they only have one mechanic, the manager goes to check to see if they can squeeze him in. Suddenly my bike is ready, cool. They couldnt fix the idle issue, not cool. Im told it might be a throttle body going bad and they can be rebuilt. I ask how much is it to get that done and Im told they dont do that here, but I can google it. The manager tells me to bring it back when they can have more time to look at it, the time was about 4:00. They do load the guys bike in to get him a new set of tires.....I go home, work some google-fu, post to a message board and some folks tell me a couple of things to check. With nothing more than a flat head screw driver and about five minutes, I disconnect the ignition coil on one side and discover that is the issue.I pick up two new coils at the Miami dealership the next day, pop them in and she is purring like a kitten. Thanks 441 cycles, next time I need some work done Ill be going to Miami or all the way to Ft. Meyers, but you wont be getting any of my cash.

I dealt with this dealership on and off for over five years with 3 different late model BMW bikes. As much as I like to support family run businesses, I always felt that this was the least savvy bunch for such a technical machine. My fists encounter was to ask them to look for an 04 R1150RT. I never got a call and after buying one elsewhere, I went to the shop and there one was - and I would have bought it.My next encounter was sending them a qualified, very well off buyer who was looking to buy the new K1600GTL. They treated him terrible and he was really annoyed - and left. He bought a new Goldwing the following week.My experience was my K1200 GT was totaled, but I still had the top case. The bike was salvaged and I wanted to re-key the top case for my next K1200 GT. the young girl said it couldnt be done and Id have to buy another topcase (at $1000). Needless to say, I was pissed. Nothing like not knowing what youre doing. I had to show my salvage papers, that they wrote the estimate for, I paid for a master key at $65, they unlocked the topcase, threw the key away (because it wasnt my bike), and now I asked them to rekey it to the new key, at another $65. The mechanic said that he really didnt want to do this. I was horrified. I ended up taking the tumbler out myself. It was this dealer that convinced me to sell my third and last BMW. I figured if the dealership wasnt competent, and it was 40 miles away, why bother with having a BMW.I left the brand and have been a happy camper since, with a Concours 14.
