Had my shocks replaced in the spring. After the repair work took me to Arizona, I noted that the shocks sounded very hard and loud anytime I would drive over the smallest bump on the road. Called the shop from Arizona to ask them if they would consider looking at them again since I was concerned something was wrong with them.Upon returning to Utah months later they told me to bring the car in. After test driving it and checking the shocks they decided they indeed needed to be replaced and did so within the same week.I was impressed with their professionalism and willingness to fix and repair an auto part even months from the date of installation. As a woman not very knowledgeable on auto parts I really appreciated not being talked down to or taken advantage of, as had happened to me at many other repair shops.I highly recommend them for that reason and wanting their customers to have quality work done.

Had I not gone to Wrenches for a pre-purchase inspection, I would have missed crucial information about this car that had not been provided to me by the dealership nor the vehicles history report.

Took my car in for a malfunctioning heater. They were able to order and install new parts that day! While my car has several other small or finicky problems, they did not push me to get them fixed as well. All in all, Wrenches is a very professional and ethical auto shop. I would not hesitate to bring my car to them in the future.

We took our car to Brent Brown Toyota for a recall notice in the mail and they charged us $112.00 to diagnose the problem without fixing anything. For the repair they quoted us an additional $700.00. I was fine paying for the repairs needed, but I wasnt happy paying for a recall notice they send in the mail. I decided to get a second opinion to make sure I wasnt getting ripped off because it sure seemed like it. We took our car to Wrenches in Pleasant Grove. We have a great experience. The staff is friendly, they fixed our car the same day we brought it in, and saved us a couple of hundred dollars. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a honest mechanic. If my car has anything wrong in the future, I will be bringing it here. Also, Evan was a dream to work with. Honest fair man.

I dont really recommend too many places, but I go out of my way to recommend Kristian and Wrenches. Always have a great experience here and I never feel like their trying to sneak in anything extra. Awesome experience again. I was initially quoted the worst case scenario. These guys took my truck, fixed her up, added an oil & filer change and the overall total was only half of what they quoted because they didnt need to replace some parts in the initial quote. If I took my truck to my previous Mechanic, he wouldve done the same work but probably still charge me the initial quote, and the sad part is I probably still wouldve paid the initial quote had they not have told me it was less. Im telling you guys, Christian and his crew is the only way to go..honest workers and very knowledgeable in their line of work...I wont even take my car to my dealership to get looked at because theyre so sketchy..Wrenches Auto in Pleasant Grove is the truth and the only shop I need!!

I have been to many car repair places and I would never give any of them 5 stars. Probably not even 3 stars as theyve only been a necessary evil when my vehicles need work - mostly because I almost always come away feeling like Ive been scammed or ripped off. Ive been to Wrenches 5-6 times now and they are seriously awesome! (cant believe I just said that about a car shop) 5+ stars easily. Ive had 3 vehicles worked on for various things and they consistently find ways to not charge me for things. I can typically get in and out quickly and the guys there are really nice and helpful. Definitely recommend.

These guys have become my go to. We take all of our cars here now. They fast, honest, and so easy to deal with. I recommend them to everyone. My only complaint is that they are slow replying to email. But we are always answered immediately when we call.

I dropped my car off without an appointment on Saturday expecting 2 things: 1. that theyd need it over the weekend because they wouldnt get to it on Saturday. 2. That it would be over 500 dollars.I was surprised on both points. The car was done in a few hours, and was less than I expected. Those working the front desk listened to the issue as I described and were very courteous.Im happy with all aspects of this repair and will be bringing my cars here for repairs for now on.

This was by far the best shop I’ve ever dealt with, I had a number of issues with my WRX and they went out of their way to get it in and fixed first thing, and even after hitting a couple speed bumps I had my car back quickly and running better than ever. Very fair pricing and friendly guys.

My mom and I have been using this shop for the last few years. They are quick but thorough with their work, and very good at explaining what repairs are needed or pressing, or which ones can wait for a little while. There rates have been fair, as far as mechanics shops go, and the guys are friendly too. Great shop to go to!

I previously gave a positive review but have to retract it. I paid about 500.00 for a brake job. New pads, rotors all around and there was a caliper sticking. I normally would have done this myself but didnt have time. Everything seemed fine but then within three months, a weird noise started coming from the brakes.About a month later I took the front wheels off and found that the rotors and the pads had not been changed as the brake pads were worn all theway down and the factory screws were still in the rotors. Now I just feel cheated.

I cant speak for all their services. I took a truck there to get a pre-purchase inspection. Im conflicted because they gave me a great deal on the inspection, but I dont think they were very thorough..maybe that was the reason for the deal?Prior to going I knew the shocks would need some work. As I test drove the truck it would occasionally very slighty veer right or left randomly. I did not know if it was just the truck and how it drives or something to do with the type of tires or just a coincidence.The inspection told me about the shocks and also a flange that leaked and some oil coolant lines, but nothing that was serious according to them.Fast forward two days to today when I take the truck to get a safety and emissions inspection done at a place closer to my house in salt lake. They tell me that the upper ball joints are loose and need to be replaced. Which makes sense and explains the occasional veering left and right that I felt during the test drive. So I am disappointed that this wasnt caught prior to purchase to at least know there will be a $400 repair in the immediate future. Safety inspections are $15, the listed price for the pre-purchase insoection I had done is $39.99. One could assume it would be a more intensive inspection.I would rather pay full price for a job well done than a discounted poorly done job.
