Located in a particularly busy location and being the only and closest Best Buy for Martinez, Walnut Creek, Concord, and Pleasant Hill this store can get very busy. However, the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their departments purpose, products, and its audience.I often come here looking to buy computer storage and car audio products. Ive not once had any issues with buying a DOA (Dead On Arrival) product or had any issues returning products that werent exactly what I was looking for.All in all its close proximity to Bart, other shopping centers, and particularly great good make this a very doable experience where I know I can count on their employees to have good insights and helpful advice.Give it a visit, also, you can order online and they have curbside pickup!

I bought an open box TV that was picked up at a different location. While installing, I realized it came with 2 LEFT legs and ended up visiting this location for help since the store I picked up initially was almost a 2hr drive from my place. The customer care personnel didnt even try to help on explaining my situation, they simply asked me to go visit the other store. I felt not valued as a customer. If this is how a customer is treated when asked for help, not sure what else one could say about service here.

Upgraded my son’s keyboard as part of his birthday gift. Now that Fry’s finally died, where else could I go and try keyboards out? Selection of the gaming keyboards was good. Salesperson help was available, but knowledge of the various keyboards was limited to… “I’ve always have used only that brand, so that’s the only one I am familiar with” Price was good and they do price match major retailers, so that helps.

I called best buy national call center to confirmed there are multiple 3080 TI in stock before i went there. The girl in the customer service claimed they dont have any GPU without me even providing the SKU. She said their inventory system is malfunctioning, they dont have it. And she said I can ask for manger as well. This is one of those store people reported online that would not sell GPU to customers before holiday. Inventory system in retailer stores simply does not malfunction, period, it is the heart of the business. This behavior is clearly instructed by the manger chain. I will report this to BB corporate.

Typical retail store. You go there to look for something and all of a sudden you have a pack of wolves around you. Lol I know. Their just doing their job. But if they were good at their job then they would listen to the customers answers on what they want instead of trying to sell the most expensive item in the store.

Had to get a new phone. Ended up switching from Apple to Android. Was confused at the use at 1st. Didnt take long to get used to Android. Seems so far a very friendly platform. And feel much more freedom with Android o er Apple and so far love this Samsung Note 20 Ultra. As for Best Buy, Im happy they are around and still a store one can put their hands on things and with GREAT prices.

Great place to try before you buy. Ive found most of the prices to be competitive. They have lots of smart home products and are a little thin on stock in some other areas. Not sure if its a result of the pandemic. Otherwise great place to see and try things out before you buy.

The salesperson we dealt with was great, but calling their customer service, because you cannot call the stores anymore, told us they had something on display at the store we were going to which of course when we got there they did not, but again the salesperson was very good we bought the phone anyway Google OnePlus without seeing it until it was activated it was $50 more than their customer service said it would be and it was very frustrating that management, customer service center, and stores are not on the same wavelength. But the staff there was very friendly and very helpful

I arrived to the bestbuy and went to checkout to ask a worker if they had any 30 series in stock. The worker was a really nice guy and checked for me and told me it was available and to go to the computer area and ask a blue shirt. I went over there and asked a big worker, and he told me it wasnt available and made all of these lies said it wasnt available. I went to ask another worker to double check, but he gave me attitude and said didnt he tell you there is no more? what is wrong with you? All I did was ask a question to double check and they gave me attitude and spoke to me very rudely. I will not be coming back to this bestbuy again. Horrible customer service from some of the workers.

Best Buy has all the new technology. Anything electronic, music, phones, television, laptops. Everything you need. The staff is very professional and friendly. They know everything about their section. Ask them a question, if they happen not to know the answer or what you are looking for, they will take you to the section of the store where another staff member will be able to answer the question or questions or help you find what you are looking for. Good prices.

Ready to buy a $2000+ laptop and unfortunately do not have internet yet. Not wanting to connect a brand new computer to unsecured wifi at a coffee shop asked if they would help download office. Sure thy will for I think $59. So I left without purchasing the computer, mouse, memory stick, office, anti virus and other accessories I might have bought. Guess Ill buy directly from HP and Amazon!

Pleasant Hill store shut down its entire installation department, so wasted trip. Furthermore, they only had a couple of dash cam products in a totally messy locked cabinet - nothing on display! At least a fairly knowledgeable employee approached me and answered some questions...

Keep in mind Im not a frequent customer. But my two experiences in the last two years have been really positive. The first experience was when I, a longtime AT&T customer, ran out of the att store because they wouldnt sell me a new smartphone unless I agreed to pay for it monthly. The att guy said under his breath go to Best Buy. So I did and was amazed to walk out of the store with a new phone, activated and fully paid for! Second experience this past weekend, purchased an iPad pro and Apple pencil to go further with my art projects. Informative and easy transaction, everything I needed was in stock. Helps to visit the store early before it gets super busy.

Had a experience customer service was extremely helpful and speedy. Although I didnt make a purchase they ask if I need help finding some and even the busy employee the stop called someone over to help who showed up really quickly. Help get a open box items for the upper rack and even help answer all my questions. The reason the purchase didnt happen was because of a offered I had at a different location and I was going to purchase the item there instead. Now looking back I should have made my purchase here because the other location is a such a let down every time Im in there. But over all a pleasant experience and would shop here moving forward.

Best Buy is a sad reminder of brick and mortar retail. This store is consistently understaffed with rude teenagers who know very little about the products on hand. I’ve been in several times for things the website says should be in stock in the store, and been told that I should just order it online. Save yourself the gas and frustration, and find what you need on Amazon or eBay.

**Advise against order pick up at this location**My friend and I ordered an in-stock T.V. from this location, drove out to pick it up only for it to have of been sold 30 minutes before we arrived after we waited an hour and a half to get an email that never came either way. Once we arrived and learned of the situation, the service employee went to grab the store manager to see if they could help us out. Once the store manager, Aaron Carpenter, came to talk to us he completely did not care at all. No apology, no alternatives, no offer to help in anyway, blamed us for their stock inventory, said theres nothing for me to do, your money is tied up for 3-5 business days. Then, we were in the middle of asking if there was a similar T.V. to purchase when the manager, Aaron, walked away mid sentence.

I have been shopping for a laptop for the last 2 years and as new technology items come on the market I knew I had to focus on the essential items I desired and not be drawn astray by some new cosmetic item. My search was beginning to get tiresome since I was searching all physical stores with an electronic department and online websites. I went into Best Buy to purchase a HDMI splitter and found the one I had seen on their app. While I was there I saw this open box laptop that was perfect and I had the best customer service experience because the associate gave me tons of knowledge about what I was purchasing.

I was pleasantly surprised by the experience of shopping in store. It was not horribly crowded, masks were required but it was not bad. My salesperson very knowledgeable and took just enough time to explain the nuances of the latest technology. I didnt feel pressured to buy anything. I got what I wanted and took it home. I would usually shop online but I wanted to see the difference in the TV pictures. I am glad I did. I brought in the middle upper range and I am very pleased. No stress. No regrets.

The right foot doesnt know what the left foot is doing at Best Buy. My mother and I made an appt to get a printer repaired in Pleasant Hill, CA. The gentleman at the Geek Squad was nice and told us how they would proceed with repairs but when my mother arrived for her appt to drop it off, another store employee was rude to her and said they dont repair printers. He didnt provide any further details. The lack of accurate information was frustrating. After I was persistent with asking questions, come to find out Best Buy doesnt repair printers inhouse...they ship them out which in turn will most likely exceed the cost of the printer. Had this been communicated at the beginning we would not have made the appt. My mother left in tears and this is clearly unacceptable. The only reason for two star rating is because the gentleman at the Geek Squad counter was very pleasant. The other employees should take note. Customer service doesnt exist at Best Buy.

This is actually a 4.5 stars rating. The manager found the cable I was looking for right at closing time but I needed coupling connector something like that.He went in the back found the part and handed it to me. Ive had good customer experiences before but this one way above and beyond. If Xfinity could take this lesson and train all of their narcissistic holyer than thou employees that will barely lift a finger only if its to help collect money.Best Buy you just gained a customer for life. As far as appearances go this Best Buy is no different than any other. Parking and traffic in the area can get a bit hairy at peak shopping times but again this is true of just about every Best Buy Ive been to in the Bay Area. What sets this Best Buy apart is the friendly and helpful people who work here.

TLDR: DO NOT choose CURBSIDE pickup.You will end up waiting for up to ONE HOUR in your car. Even more interesting: when you arrive and use Best Buy app, it’ll say the wait is only “4 minutes”. Well, 4 minutes is not equal to 60 minutes.It’s better to just go inside the store or order from Amazon.What’s the point for Best Buy to offer curbside pickup when you have to wait that long?

All of these people are waiting in a really long line next to a sign that says “Skip the line-shop online!” Uhhhhhhh, I think you may need more staff to keep that skipping the line promise.
