Beautiful setup and excellent customer service! I’ve already been there 5+ times for more books!

This is my first (and usually only) stop for books and birthday gifts. The staff are all great, and they go above and beyond to be helpful. The store also carries a large variety of gift products, so even if you cant find the right book for the recipient, you can browse mugs, stuffed animals, jewelry, games and even socks! The turn-around time on book orders is quick too. This are a gem of a store and Im so grateful to have them right downtown.

The best place to get any book and support a local business. Beautiful vibe, excellent customer service, amazing events. A bit on the expensive side, but still far better than Amazon!

I just went in there with my baby in a stroller, it is not stroller or handicapped friendly by the way, and I did not enjoy my time there. I struggled to get up the steps and into the door and once I made it to the children book section, it was a total mess with boxes blocking the picture books I wanted to look at. As I made my way out the door, an employee stood at the door decorating a window without even helping me open the door. Instead she said goodbye as I struggled for a second time to open the door and guide my stroller down steps. I will not be going back.

I came here two times and I loved the place!! The books are amazing they have them for all ages! I got a bunch of good books!! But, the stuff there are a little overpriced but I love the place!! :))

The bookstore was very nice ........but Do Not take the book recommendations from the staff....!! No taste in books at all... I was told by an older woman that worked there (I didnt get her name) that a book titled The Lager Queen of Minnesota was a great light and funny read. Based her recommendation I bought the book and have never felt so cheated on wasting my time in reading a book so BAD!!!

Down in Pleasanton for an outing today with my kid and a friend. We decided to stop in here and were very impressed by this store. Ended up buying several things but my favorite part of this store was that they had demo games in their game section so you could try games before buying them. I did end up buying a game as well as two books and a toy.

Everyone here was so nice and attentive and the process are great. I drove 2 and a half hours to come meet Scott Westerfeld, Fonda Lee, Eliot Schrefer, and Justina Chen and it is the most fun I have ever had.

Good selection especially kids books and games. Bought my nieces birthday gifts here and very convenient that they provide free, good quality gift wrapping here! Feels good to support this local business as there are very few independent bookstores left. They also host several book clubs and have visiting authors regularly.

Such a unique and eclectic book store. I really liked their selection, easy going attitudes and that they rotate the books in the window displays often.Definitely a book store that I want to support.

My daughter and I have been shopping at this book store for years. The staff always have excellent recommendations for both of us, and seeing the excitement of my daughter discovering new authors is a huge bonus. It’s absolutely one of my favorite places in Pleasanton.

The is my absolute favorite bookstore! Everytime Im in Pleasanton, I go here, and Everytime I buy something. They have a fantastic childrens section compeyte with unique toys too! Its seriously the best. It feels like home
