The process was quick and straightforward.When we came to the appointment, we were immediately greeted and taken back by a friendly associate. She gave us a quick tour and showed me the fitting room.The fitting room deserves a separate recognition. It is the most spacious and cleanest room I’ve seen, and that’s after visiting several other bridal shops in the Bay Area.I was asked to describe what I see myself in walking down the aisle. My description couldn’t be more vague, but the selection of dresses that were picked for me by the Blossom’s associate were absolutely perfect. In fact, the dress that I ended up choosing was suggested to me by the store’s associate.When I asked for a second try-on visit, the answer was “yes”. When I asked to try the same dress three more times, the answer was “yes”. When I asked to customize it with a belt, the answer was also “yes”. They really go above and beyond to ensure that your experience is pleasant and stress-free. Came here very last minute for a formal dress and there were no disappointments! She had a few for me to try on (my size 18w isn’t so easy to find when looking for formal dresses). Im so lucky I found Blossoms! They have an amazingly wide selection of dresses at their store! Im picky and I had a specific style I was looking for in mind, so even though they didnt have exactly what I was looking for, the store manager was able to order one for me that is exactly what I want. The best part is, they have in-store tailoring, so you dont have to go to 2 separate places to buy and tailor your dress. It also means they know what theyre talking about when it comes to tailoring and cost estimates. I just feel like their customer service was so great, I ordered my dress here and am super happy. I cant wait to get it in a few months and will update!

I found the wedding dress of my dreams here ! Krista was the consultant helping me find my dress and she was wonderful. Krista listened to all of my wants and brought me a dress that was everything I wanted and more. Even if a dress wasn’t perfect she suggested alterations that would make it perfect. We found the perfect dress for me and Katie took my measurements to assure that we ordered the right size for me. Katie made sure that I didn’t leave without ordering my beautiful dress. Went in recently to pick up my second wedding dress and it was great to see everyone wearing masks and gloves prioritizing safety, which made the shopping experience better during these unprecedented times. I scheduled an appointment to come in to to pick up my dress and happen to see a pretty dress on a mannequin and had to try it on....yups, they did it again! Where am I going? When will I wear it? Who cares! :)I love coming here and have been meaning to write this review for awhile now. Ive been here so many times to find dresses and accessories for all sorts of occasions and always come out satisfied with the service and with a very beautiful dress. I also like bringing my friends here for their special occasion needs too. We make the drive from San Jose because its worth it!I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a special occasion dress, bridal gown(s), bridesmaid dresses and beautiful accessories. Katie, the owner is the best! Shes always so sweet and very accommodating. If you dont see the style youre looking for, they can try to special order it for you and they offer alterations too (its a separate fee, but reasonable).

Hands down, Blossoms Bridal has the largest Bay Area selection for a stylish (by that I mean glam, wink, wink) Mother of the Bride look. I was very pleased that at my then size 12, I could try on an array of gowns. Everyone was very attentive.

I was so happy with the dress I found here and how it fit my body on the day of my wedding. I got so many compliments and it just went so well with the style and venue of my wedding. This store sells my favorite line of dresses, Pronovias, which is from Spain and very well made. I went a couple of times to try on dresses here, once before the trunk show when they had gotten in a few, and another time a few days later with more people to see. The people helping me out were very patient and we got to use the cute room in the back. I got the dress I wanted for a great price, since it was a trunk show.When the dress came in a few months later, the button loops on the back were loose, so they fixed them without a charge. Tentative move-in date is mid-October, 2020.***I literally cant say enough great things about Blossoms! Katie and all of the staff are absolutely fabulous! My parents live out of state and came to visit for a week during COVID. My mom and I had to plans to do my dress shopping in hopes of finding something before they left, but were hesitant and a little worried with all of the restrictions and werent sure what wed be getting ourselves into. Blossoms was able to accommodate us the same day with masks and gloves in hand. They were very prepared and we felt safe and welcomed despite the pandemic around us. Katie was incredibly kind, patient, understanding, and reassuring when it came to my uncertainty about trying on dresses (Im more of a tom-boy and cant even remember the last time I wore a dress..needless to say I was a little overwhelmed by it all). The store itself has a massive selection for EVERY budget. Katie was able to pull a simple, beautiful gown (that had been discontinued and marked down in price!) that ended up being just perfect for the beach wedding I had envisioned. My mom and I left with that dress in mind being the #1 contender. I had a few more appointments at other dress shops (Davids Bridal being one of them) over the next few days. Overall, my experience at every other dress shop pales in comparison to the experience I had at Blossoms. Other shops were very impersonal, had bad attitudes and bad selections, and lacked the professional experience that Katie and her staff have. After my other appointments, I knew my decision would be simple. I called Katie and asked if we could squeeze in one more appointment for my Dad to come see the dress before we said YES. Again, Katie was able to squeeze us in same day - AMAZING! Long story short-- I said YES to the dress and have never looked back! I had the loveliest experience picking out my wedding dress here. I wasnt too sure what I wanted but Stephanie was able to help me during the whole process to find what I wanted. (Spoiler alert, I found THE dress with her!!!)Stephanie had so much good energy and passion, I was laughing and enjoying the entire process. Each time I tried on a dress, she asked a few questions so she knew which direction she should take me next.I gave her super vague descriptions like: I want it to be sparkly and princessy (lolz) and she was able to bring dresses I absolutely loved!!!Also, I didnt know until I tried them on, but dresses are SO HEAVY. This is a great bridal shop with many beautiful gowns to try on for the special day! The owner worked with me for almost 2 hours to find a gown that I would love. Katy is so kind, patient and caring. Firstly Id like to say I normally dont leave bad reviews especially since we are in a pandemic and everyones business is struggling but I feel that my bad experience here warrants it. I had a wedding dress appointment last Saturday at 2:30pm. I brought my mother, mother in law. Sister in law and best friend. We live in sonoma county and drove over an hour to the appointment because of how highly my sister in law recommended this place. I was very upfront with them of my body type and that I wasnt sure what I wanted but was leaning toward something colorful and untraditional. The lady that was helping us started out friendly enough but her energy was super high, like drank 5 red bulls kinda hyper. She did not communicate well with me about how the appointment was going to go. It started off with her giving me dresses that were way to small ( Im a bigger gal). She didnt explain to me (until way later) that they didnt have my size and that I would be trying on smaller sizes to see if I liked the dress or not. After trying on a couple of size 4/6 dresses I asked her if I could get something closer to my size. I dont understand how I am able to really make any sort of decision on a dress when these were so extremely small on me ( at another place I was trying on size 12 to 20 and these were so ungodly small, not to mention trying to get in and out of them was a challenge). Once I asked if I could get dresses in my size she finally explained why I was given smaller dresses. Its fine if they dont have my size but she could have explained better to me and I honestly dont understand why I just couldnt try on dresses more in my size range. If those werent available, she should have been honest with me! I was unaware that I was only suppose to be trying on 5 dresses. If she would have explained this at the beginning I would have been more selective plus she pressured me to just try on some dresses that I had no interest in ( I said I didnt want a strapless and she told me to try on a strapless).  Later in the appointment she rudely mentioned I was trying on more than 5 dresses when I wasnt suppose to. If it was a timing issue I wish she would have told me. I would have completely understand. It was a very high pressure sales atmosphere, she was extremely hyper, talked very fast, talked over me, didnt size me correctly half the time, didnt explain things to me well, was very rude toward the end, doesnt know the difference between teal and midnight blue ( I asked to see teal dresses and she gave me a midnight blue dress saying it was teal!) She demanded to know what I thought of dresses right away ( even if she just brought them on a hanger ). I felt that she was over bearing and was hard for me to work with to the point where I started to mentally shut down due to how much she talked over/at me ( I have social anxiety).  By the end of it everyone could tell she was frustrated with me. She asked point blank if I was interesting in seeing more dresses with intention of buying or if we were done. I said Id like to see more dresses. ( I was in no way opposed to buying a dress that day). She talked over me and said we were done. There were 5 of us and all of us felt the same, that she was extremely rude! My sister in law felt so bad about recommending this place to me. But the worse part was that this was the first time my mother and mother in law met and to have such a bad/uncomfortable experience! Overall I didnt feel comfortable at all during my experience, I felt extremely rushed and pressured. I highly dont recommend this place!!!!

Two of my daughters purchased wedding gowns from this dress shop, and my third daughter plans to come here too when she gets engaged! My family has so much trust in this business. The experience was great as both a new customer and a returning customer. Katie, the owner, is so friendly and makes you feel like she really knows you. The tailors alterations were flawless every time.My second daughter to get married was a Covid bride, and Katie did not hesitate to make accommodations for her dress alteration timeline when we postponed her wedding. In fact, when shelter in place first started, Katie reached out directly to tell us not to worry and that we could still pickup the dress whenever we needed it.It also felt very safe to visit the store during these times. They provided clean gloves and plastic bags to wrap our belongings in at the entrance of the store (to prevent contamination from outside) and everyone wears masks. All you need to do is make an appointment to visit!

This has become our go-to place for formal wear. My daughter and I have shopped extensively in the bay area to find the perfect dress. Blossoms is by far the best place to get great quality and service. They have the best dresses and alteration service we have seen in the bay area. We have shopped around, but, the service you get here is far superior to any other shop, also, most places don’t offer alterations. Blossoms is a full service shop. They work to make certain you are happy with your purchase. If you need to order a different size, they can order and get the dress quickly. They also reserve your dress so that no one else can order and wear the same dress to your event. We have purchased several dresses from Blossoms and I’m glad we did.

Blossom’s has a HUGE selection of dresses for brides and prom. They also have a great range of prices for anyone’s budget. I ended up finding my wedding gown here and I am beyond excited! My experience was a little rocky after I said yes to the dress because there was a lack of communication, but Katie, the owner of the store has gone above and beyond to make things right. She has treated me and my family so kindly and has kept her word about everything she said she was going to do. I purchased my wedding dress from Blossom’s, and I am so glad I did! They made everything so easy! My first visit was when I was shopping for my dress. I called ahead and made an appointment, and I got really lucky that I got to work with Stephanie to find my dress. I looked around and tried on a few dresses that caught my eye, but hadn’t found anything I was truly happy with. I’m plus-sized so finding a dress that I felt comfortable in was my goal. Stephanie asked me 3 questions, listened carefully to my answers, and said she would be right back. A few minutes later she came back with my absolute dream dress!! I didn’t quite know what I wanted when I walked in, but as soon as I put on that dress I knew it was the one! I purchased the dress, a matching veil, and scheduled my first fitting.All of my fitting appointments were great, the staff is really good at what they do, and made sure the dress fit me perfectly! On my wedding day I felt like a princess, and my dress was a popular topic of conversation because it was so gorgeous. Lots of sparkle, just the right color, and it was very flattering on me. After the wedding, my dress was filthy, but Blossom’s came through for me again! I met with Katie to go over cleaning and preserving my dress, she was able to give me the info I needed and we ended up ordering the service right then and there. A few months later and my dress is back at home with me in its new preservation display box where I stare at it and think back to those happy memories from the best day of my life!Thank you Blossom’s for helping to make my wedding day so memorable and special! :)

Before you enter Blossoms Bridal and Formal, you notice the convenient location and plenty of parking. A side benefit is, special needs parking and easy view of the gowns being tried on.Once in the store, the Mother of the Bride/Groom gowns are set up by size. The employees were very friendly and helpful but they didn’t crowd us. Even though I only had a month to find my gown and have it altered, Katie and her team and the seamstress Jasmine were fantastic!!!!!!! I can recommend Blossoms as a great store for formal wear and Jasmine as a seamstress!!!👍

Fabulous customer service all around. The staff and owner worked with my daughter and we ended up getting a beautiful prom dress. They don’t let anyone from your school get the same dress so nobody else will show up with your dress. After 2 months of getting engaged, I finally decided to start looking for my dream wedding dress. Since the appointments I got were weeks ahead, here I am very eager and excited to try on some dresses. Went to yelp and found Blossoms Bridal & Formal, booked an appointment and they let me come in sooner than I was expecting! I wasn’t sure if they have the dress I want but guess what? There was a trunk show the day I came and my dream dress was there and available! Cancelled all the appointments with the other shops and Katie (the owner) helped me a lot and she was so great!! All the follow-ups, trials went very smoothly and their service was excellent! Katie is on top of everything and her staff are very helpful as well. When you walk in the store, Blossoms has the vibe of high school prom store (think Jessica McClintock!). It can feel intimidating to see how many dresses they have, but that’s where Katie comes in. Katie listened to what I wanted and helped pick out dresses that were not only what I wanted but also in my price range. I never felt like she was trying to upsell me or pressuring me to buy a dress that was genuinely unflattering. I ended up wanting a dress that wasn’t in stock in their store, but she was really great about ordering the dress for me. Katie has been so patient and flexible in this ongoing process (even more so with the fires and COVID) and is really here to make sure you find the right dress. While we were shopping, she told me not to be shy about communicating if I didn’t like some of her picks, and I really appreciated that, especially since she really did not take it personally when the dress wasn’t the right fit. Overall, don’t let the vibe fool you. Katie is a true gem, and I have truly enjoyed working with her.

Wow!! I cant say enough about our great experience at Blossoms. We were here to look at bridal gowns for my daughter. My sister had worked with the owner, Katie, a few years back on a photo shoot for Womens Health for the American Heart Association and highly recommended her. Katie was so helpful providing dresses for celebrities like Robin Wright and others, that I was confident we were in the right hands. And that we were!Our stylist Lola was very professional and attentive and brought out a wonderful variety of dresses. She was careful to work with our budget and helped my daughter find just what she was looking for. We were given excellent pricing on two gorgeous stock dresses. Blossoms made time for my daughter the very next day to try them both on again before she had to fly back home. That sealed the deal!There were hugs all around with Katie and the staff. We really appreciated the personalized service we received. I would highly recommend Blossoms to any bride! Thanks Katie for making this such a special experience for us.

I recently went wedding dress shopping . I had my heart set on a long sleeve dress but after my first couple of dresses, I quickly found out that they didnt look as great as I thought they would.Katie and Jessica helped me find the perfect dress that best fit my body type. They were great at pulling dresses that would flatter my body type and the type of wedding I wanted. Katie (owner) was great at making this experience a wonderful one for me. Any concerns or questions i had were answer promptly. Will definitely be coming back for any future occasions.

I had the best experience at my first bridal appointment. I had my own private dressing room for 1.5 hours for myself and 2 guests. (You could bring more guests if you want, I believe). The lighting was perfect and mirrors were all around to see each angle of the dress. I dont think the experience would have been as amazing without the private dressing room and the fact that our sales consultant, Alicia, gave me undivided attention.After taking a quick glance at photos of what I was looking for, Alicia came back with 5 dresses within 10 minutes! I already knew one of the first two I tried on would be the one, but just to be sure, Alicia continued to find ones that were worth trying on. She even involved my mom and sister with looking for more dresses and matching veils, allowing it to be an enjoyable, engaging experience for all.Alicia gauged my interest for each dress by asking how I felt about each one (and letting my guests and I talk about it as she left the room to find more), but she said the real giveaway was how bright my smile was for each of them. I really like that she paid attention to that! No matter which dress it was, she validated my opinions and made me feel so beautiful the entire time. In the end, when I retried on my favorite, all four of us were tearing up with how perfect it was. Dont worry they have tissues in the room. ;)As for pricing: Almost all of their wedding dresses are under $2000! Even my sister was able to find one in 2013 within her $1000 budget!Im excited to see how the rest of this process will go in future appointments!

The staff at Blossoms is very helpful and the owner, Katie, is extremely customer service oriented. We bought my daughters prom dresses for the last two years from Blossoms and will go there next year too. Katie has made sure that the dresses fit perfectly! There is a great selection of dresses also.

I love this store! First of all, there is a huge selection of dresses and sizes in store and online. There are also tons of gowns constantly going on sale, so you get them for a great price. The staff is wonderful and I got attention and help from the store owner Katie and a few more of the ladies working there. Also, I myself purchased a dress and needed some alterations to get it sized down (I lost weight) just a few days before my event. In under a week Van had my dress fitting perfectly, even better than it had fit prior to my weight loss! Getting a new dress would have been so expensive and the alterations at my usual would have been almost half the cost of the dress, but they quoted the alterations so much cheaper than my usual seamstress and it was done flawlessly. I got so many compliments, and I referred them all to this wonderful store. Will definitely be coming back!!

I came to Blossoms Bridal 3 weeks before my wedding to find the 2nd dress. I called to make an appointment to ensure I get the help when needed, but nobody attended the call. Since I was in a rush to find a second dress, I walked in to the store without making an appointment. I was greeted by the team, and although they were informed that I didn’t have an appointment, they still welcomed me and accommodated my needs. I still had someone attending to me and helping me pick the dresses. On top of that, they were respectful and willing to work with my budget to make me happy.I was also surprised to learn that they also offer in-house alterations. It made it so convenient that I didn’t have to drive elsewhere. I am very happy with the overall service. I stepped out of the door within 20-30 mins with the beautiful second dress.

Why Google keeps not putting through my review of this store is questionable.I have purchased a total of 3 dresses from this store, including my wedding gown that I will be wearing in December. My most recent purchase was my wedding gown, which was purchased at this store specifically. I called Blossoms about scheduling a bridal gown appointment, and the sales associate recommended that I send a list of gowns that I like to her ahead of time. I went on their website (which is a lot better than it used to be), and made a list that was all over the board in terms of styles. When I arrived with my entire family I was greeted very nicely, and there were already dresses waiting for me. Luckily, they had almost every gown on my list in stock, which was amazing to me. I quickly found the perfect dress (Casablanca), and decided to purchase based on my positive experience. My family was extremely pleased with the service, and they are some of the pickiest people I know. I will be purchasing my bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, and all tuxedo rentals through Blossoms.

Where do I start? Ive had nothing but a pleasant experience with Blossoms. I couldnt find the wedding dress I wanted anywhere. I was 3 months away from my big day and could not find the dress. Every store told me it would be 6+ months to get a dress ordered. When I contacted blossoms, it was a dream come true. Not because they had my dress but because I got to talk to Katie. She went above and beyond to be sure I had the dress I wanted. She had ordered same dress, size and color for a bride whos wedding isnt until next year and was able to get her to agree to give me her dress while she ordered a replacement for her. Not only that, being 100s of miles away from her store, she still managed to help me get my dress altered. Just a great person looking to make every bride look and feel their best. I would highly recommend them if youre still looking for the dress.

The experience we had at Blossoms was excellent, but the real star was their seamstress, Van! Her suggestions were the perfect additions to the brides and the bridesmaids dresses. She did a fabulous job...she is so talented...and so lovely and kind! She did all of this under significant time constraints...she is truly amazing! I highly recommend her!!

It was AMAZING!!! Daryn, Sophia, and the entire staff, was so welcoming, patient and just overall awesome. The selection of prom dresses was gigantic, and when I found the perfect dress, everyone was so supportive and really happy for me. I love this place so much!

I went to Blossoms one week before a formal gala event and found the PERFECT dress! In addition to getting the dress, the service I received from Katie and Sophie was top notch. Katie is flexible and caring which is hard to find out there when shopping for a special occasion. Katie went above and beyond to complete alterations within a short time frame. When you care about wearing an original and not showing up at an event with someone else wearing your dress, you MUST check out BLOSSOMS!

This was the third dress shop I visited and by far my worst experience. The consultant was late to the appointment, and, once I finally started trying on dresses, she wasnt having me try on any of the dresses I picked out. When I mentioned I didnt like a detail on a dress she had pulled, she would argue with me about it. She would leave for long stretches of time which led to me zipping up my own dress on one occasion and having my friend unzip me on another.She also wasnt always in the room when I would discuss the dress which explains why everything she pulled was the exact opposite of what I wanted. When she was there, she would insist on my friends taking pictures and even changed the settings on my friends phone without her permission. When trying on one dress, I mentioned that I loved the horsehair detailing on it. She told me thats not horsehair. Then when she took it out of the bag she said oh it is horsehair.I did find a dress I loved there, after my friend insisted the consultant let me try on one we had picked out, and I asked the consultant to write down the information for me. Since Id had such a poor experience at Blossoms, I hoped to find this same dress elsewhere and found out that it had been discontinued. The consultant at Blossoms did not tell me this and made it seem like Id be able to order it. Thankfully, another shop was still able to get it made for me and I will be buying through them instead.

I ordered my dress on the 1st was told that my dress will arrive within 2 weeks that period would have landed me before the shutdown I never received a call.Today April ninth I called to find out that my dress had arrived on the 8th 8 days before the shutdown. No one called to let me know and in light of all this and the fact that the dress cannot be used despite their policy they are not refunding the dress. These people act as if they cant hear you on the phone. An in light of me not receiving when it arrived an having to call a month later I should have a refund with no product. I will never use this shop again an I recommend you dont either6/10 - it took 4 days for you to contact me via Instagram at midnight for you to respond. And according to you you had the dress a week before the shutdown yet never informed me. No product no money, simple.11/30 - I got my refund, you folks need to learn about insurance instead of thinking your customers must foot the bill on a product NEVER RECEIVED. I WILL BE TELLING MY PEOPLE HOW RUDE YOU WERE ABOUT THIS!

My daughter chose Blossoms to create her dream look for her Prom. She tried on several dresses and after many tries (with the assistance of Maria) she finally found her perfect gown. The owner of the store was there and very helpful, she made slight alterations to make it perfect and even gifted my daughter a small piece of jewelry to make it perfect!

I have been to this store a handful of times, and each time I have gone in, I have received wonderful and genuinely warm customer service. A majority of times that I have been here were on weekdays, and have always been able to find what I need. Ive had minor alterations to hem as well, and all have come out perfectly fine. I was recently just there this past weekend in May to show my friend some bridal gowns - and if you knew, May is HEAVY prom season, so obviously the store was filled with teenagers looking for their prom dress. We didnt have an appointment, and were still able to get some help, and even try on a few dresses. The staff that usually help me are really pleasant. Were going to make an appointment to come back.

I thought I was in a dilemma looking for my perfect dress for my “50th” birthday party. I walked in and immediately felt like I was a PRINCESS!! Right away I went to Sofia (who was absolutely amazing) to tell her exactly what I was looking for. She went to work searching. We came out with 3 picks... I knew I would be leaving with my dress! I’m rating my experience 2 stars. Due to fact that I was unsatisfied with the customer service.my daughter found a dress that she loved but she wanted in red well the associate told us that they didn’t carry it in the store in red it would have to be special ordered .so k asked if they could . . Order it for me then I was told by them that there was not enough time and it would not arrive in time .granted there was 3 weeks before prom.so we purchased the dress in the jade green .we recommended this shop to a close friend and she was given the same dress my daughter has in red .so they did carry it the store .now our friend found her dress but wanted a different color and they told her yes and it would be in 5 days so in actuality I was lied to and it was very upsetting to find this out and it’s unfortunate we felt that we were not given 100% satisfaction as a customer .
