Pleasontons best cafe! I had the burger, side of hashbrown and a medium over egg. I would compare this style to Waffle House only without the drama or cigarette smell. Tasty burgers and the hashbrowns were divine. The egg was cooked to perfection, hard on the white and a stunning gooey yolk! Dont let the name off put you, this is a 3 in 1 stop. Venue is a combination gas station, diner and motel. There is a coin op washer and dryer you can use if u need to while u grab a delicious meal. Restrooms are older but as clean as you can hope for. Not the newest looking location but definitely worth the stop!

We stopped here on our way back home to OKC and were not disappointed. The anazing smell drew us from the convenient store side. They were short staffed but the food still came out quick and EVERYTHING was on point. My over medium eggs had a runny yolk but cooked whites, not burned. The bacon was crispy, but again, not burned. They had an amazing salsa to go with it that was spicy and tasted fresh and authentic. Hashbrowns were also perfectly cooked. The sw omelet was decent sized with great tasting peppers and wasnt dry. Biscuits and gravy were perfectly seasoned, great flavor, and had just the right amount of salt. Biscuits were also fluffy on the inside, not dry. Burger was juicy and you could tell it was made fresh to order, not just reheated. We have a chef in our group who can usually find something to comment on that could have been done better and she could find nothing. The food was so good and we are SO glad we decided to eat here. The duo that were working this morning were WONDERFUL!!! Absolutely would recommend stopping by, or driving out of the way for!!!

Excellent food! Hot and fresh, with big portions. I highly recommend the double bacon cheese burger w/ fries and a side of the homemade apple pie for dessert. Great place to stop on a long road trip!

Just stopped 4 gas....We end up ordering burgers fries & wings. Food was Awesome . No greasy fries or wings. They were perfectly crispy..As well as the burger couldnt stop eating it till it was done I would easily give more than 5 stars ...Glad we ordered food from here.

I come here every time Im in the area. Their eggs are large so you get plenty. Theyve always had my order correct and its always made to my satisfaction. The staff is friendly and efficient even when very busy.

Always stop by on the way to San Antonio cool little stop

On our way up to San Antonio, we decided to make a quick rest stop. We found this lovely little Steak and Eggs restaurant at the Kuntry Korner. Let me say, I loved everything about my experience here. The server was very sweet and patient, never bothered us but to make sure our needs were met. The lady I saw working the fry/grill station was very kind as well and even came up to ask us if we enjoyed the food. The food. My gosh, I really felt the love in every bite I took. I had the Lil Hunters Breakfast and my partner got the Mushroom Swiss Burger. We shared as well because from breakfast to lunch, every food was delicious and shared a similar consistency that made every bit melt in our mouthes. I rate this restaurant a 5/5 for excellent service

Heading to San Antonio stoped for coffee and ended up renting a room for a month wonderfull place to stay, foods great and nice people ty

Great service and a great cooking! Slyvia does an outstanding job as a waitress. She is always positive and upbeat. I always look forward to eating there when she is working because I know my meal will be prepared just as I ordered it. She is truly what makes this place so great.

I had a fine breakfast of steak and eggs, and pleasant conversation with the staff. Coffee from a machine, but it was tasty and they brought plenty of it. Will go again.

Absolutely astounding. The burgers, fries, and mexican platter blew me away. The burgers specifically blew almost every burger I have ever had right out of the water. Delicious, and I definitely would recommend.

Walked in. Got 0 acknowledgement, nobody interested into taking orders. One lady quickly looked at me and she looked away after i looked at her. So i walked out. No future service from me at this point.Whish i could give 0 stars because of the 0% of effort put in for a customer.

On my travels north from Corpus I always stop at the Kuntry Corner for breakfast. All homemade, biscuits and country gravy, eggs, patty sausage, and hash browns, nothing from a bag. Good food friendly service, lots of hot coffee!

I cant speak to the restaurant or motel, but the bathrooms are gross.𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: Public bathrooms are usually a fact of life on road trips, unless youre a diaper-wearing astronaut traveling from Houston to Florida. Im not, so I had to visit this one. This is where I must dock a star, because the bathroom is a 1 star affair at best. There was toilet paper strewn about the floor, and a note in the stall exhorting people to not flush it. There was a trash can provided for that purpose (gross!), but clearly there are many illiterates going up and down the highway. Even worse, there was a dead cockroach lying on the floor next to the toilet. I try not to look too closely at the floors in these places, but I had my little helpful, observant granddaughter with me who pointed out the offender. Disgusting!

I orderd grilled onions and grilled mushrooms with brown gravy smothered over my chopped steak like I always have in the past.she put straight out of the CAN mushrooms not even heated over the grilled onions how gross not even cooked very disgusting. get rid of this lazy wantaby cook Bring back or hire a good cook. I own a business in town and I will never send another customer your way while its there.Also you had no business in the restaurant tonight you might want to look back over the time shes been with you, you might have lost business because of it.

I was not expecting something like a five star hotel, just a clean and simple place to rest after a long day.The outside looked promising. Theyre small motel connected to a restaurant and small convenient store, great because I thought that it would be easy to get breakfast in the morning before we left.The girl was a little lost but she was new so I wrote it off. When we got into the room I was assaulted with the smell of cigarette smoke and not just a bit. It smelled like no one has bothered to give the room a good thorough cleaning in YEARS.The room had a lot of potential, two beds, a larger chest of drawers, a table with chairs, and a relatively new tv. The bathroom however was horrible. At first I just thought because it was old but once I really looked I noticed that the toilet seat had not been cleaned and the walls were dirty from all the hands that had touched it. Noticing that I made sure to keep my flip flops on at all times, not wanting to risk the stepping on something.Getting ready to sleep I was careful and pulled back the sheets a bit and sure enough the sheets smelled like smoke as well. The good thing was that my friend and I had both taken an extra blanket with us so we slept on top of the bed rather than surrounding ourselves further in eau de cigarette.In the morning we quickly got dressed, checked out and left, we didnt even bother to look into the restaurant. The only positive thing they had going for them were the lack of roaches.
