I wanted to get a birthday bear for my daughter, but they were out. I put my new down and the store really reserved one for me. I came a couple weeks after they called and it was still reserved for my daughter. She was very happy. Her first build a bear and she loves it. She brings it every where.

Never worked with a more professional group of builders. My offspring, Baron, simply loved his Umbreon buddy! They put the fun in the fluff!

Extremely sad to come here at this time. My daughter couldnt stuff her bear or wash it or anything. So now its basically just buying a really overpriced stuffed animal and clothes/accessories for it.

I came to the mall with the intention of spending money and making purchases. This store I guess prefers kicking out customers instead of letting them shop. I cant drink water out of my cup in there apparently because if my mask if off for 3 secs theyll ask me to leave jesus, relax.

Great fun place for kids 3+ pricey stuffs to build or customize your own favourite Teddy bear. Great experience for kids. They are are all so cute to build.. bears and other flurry animals. Lots to choose fashions and accessorries. Kids will love it and wouldnt want to leave the store with out building one for experience. This one located in the Mall is a great one. Staffs are kids friendly!

Thank to the lovely workers at built-a-bear workshop for my daughter first experience to build her own bear. Well come back for accessories for her Skye, shes so excited.

Came in to get an old stuffed animal repaired and the associate helped me right away with no problem. Didnt cost me a cent and great workmanship to boot.

Had a blast spent $100 bucks on purpose because making my kids happy means alot

I went here to make some bears for my kids and the process was way more fun than anything else. I would go back just for the little placing the heart in the bear ritual. Very adorable.

Absolutely adorable place to let your child, grandchild in my case, create their own personal teddy bear friend. My grandson named his Teddy bear Marvin and got a skateboard for him to ride. Every child had a favorite stuffed animal and at build a bear they are made to order. Reasonably priced, very well made, fun to do, charming staff, busy but little wait time. So many choices, hard to decide.

Julia at Build-A-Bear (Stoneridge Mall, Pleasanton CA) is AMAZING! We commemorated our recently deceased cat with a Build-A-Bear and Julia not only went above and beyond for us, her bedside manner is unrivaled. It was a delightful experience from the moment we walked in, to recording our kittys purrs and chirps to the heart ceremony. Thank you Julia!

Benjamin MAKES Build-A-Bear ...Benjamin makes it a place I desire to come to. Benjamin helped my two boys build their bear. He is very kind, personable and professional. Id say more but out of time...

A little disappointed. Every year I come here and buy my nieces stuffed animals and they love it. I buy the floor models so I dont give them an unfilled stuffed animal for christmas. Brought 2 of them up to the counter and they would not allow me to purchase them. They said I have to fill them myself in order to get one. But for the past 4-5 years Ive came every christmas season and bought them? Extremely disappointing. Wont be coming back now.

Every one was really nice and friendly. Very helpful, and wished us a Happy Birthday when they found out it was my Mothers birthday. Unfortunately, the birth certificate computer was not working, so we have to write in the information on our narwhal bear. But otherwise, it was a good visit.

Lindsey was an amazing staff member who was so pleasant and professional when helping my daughter create her bear. She has a great personality for working with children and is an asset to your Pleasanton location. We very much enjoyed creating the bear there and recommend this location to anyone wanting to try it.

So much fun, but pricy when you start to equip you bear with fun outfits.

The kids seem to enjoy this place, although the novelty seems to wear off pretty quick. It also gets expensive fairly quick as all the add one add up. Lastly, if you plan to come here, make sure they do not have a birthday party. The process is slow as is, but with a herd of kids in front of you, it will eat up your whole day...

We went here without our daughter to surprise her with a bear. Monica was so sweet she talked to us like we were old friends. May be back again this week to make another one!

Fun place for kids. You can browse and juds can play with the bears. Spent 30mins and the kid had a blast even without buying anything 🤩

My child had never had a build a bear, so when she had her own money, she wanted to buy the light fury. She even opted to buy the voice box with dragon sound effects. Much to our disappointment, not even 6 hours after purchase, the voice box is totally dead. The $7 for the voice is not the issue, the driving a half hour out there and back and having it die within 6 hours is the issue. Considering that she paid with her own money, she was really bummed. The staff and experience was alright.

Interesting place for kids to pick a bear or animal they have and the shop will build the bear and get it all stuffed up. It’s too expensive though, any little item you pickup is expensive.

Its great to bring young ones here for a treat or special occasion.

Kids loved it. There are a lot of choices. Maybe a bit too many for the kids to be confused. But overall it is fun.

Its B-a-B. The kids like it, so I like it for that aspect. Pricing isnt bad for the base bears/characters, especially with a coupon, but the accessories are murder on the wallet.
