Team Glass installed the three exterior glass doors on our new building in Scotts Valley, CA. The doors have never worked right and they are unable to fix them. The lock on the front door has fallen apart twice. The doors jammed shut periodically for no reason. They have been unable to fix the problems in four visits. The initial installation was faulty, and now we suspect that the doors are defective as well. If you need doors that work correctly you wont get them at Team Glass.I am adding this follow up 8 months after the first review. We hired a legitimate locksmith who was able to reinstall the doors correctly after 8 visits by team glass failed to resolve any of the problems. We hired him in frustration after several late night drives to the building after the burglar alarm was set off by the wind blowing the doors open. One morning the door was jammed shut and we couldnt open for business, this was second time this happened. After this we gave up and hired someone who actually knew their trade. We havent had a single problem since. On one of the doors, the wind blowing it open broke the pivots, and the locksmith said that the original installer should really fix that and even they should be able to do that without screwing it up. We did call Team Glass to replace the pivots and then had the locksmith out afterwards to check their work which after a few small adjustments (which he didnt charge for) was fine. We have just received a bill from Team Glass that the pivots were not covered under warranty and we owe them $237.38 for the consequences of their incompetence.AVOID THIS COMPANY!! They will doubtless be the lowest bid but you will pay many times more in the long run.
