My first time at NY pizza on main. I worked late and was extremely Happy they were open!! I ordered of their special board. Organic chicken dinner with a yummy side of Greek style pasta a 2 small slices of cheesy garlic bread. Food was delicious! I also got a small tub of their tiramisu. The chicken was on special $9.99 and the dessert was $4.75. add 9% tax should have been around $17.00. But I was charged $23. I also ALWAYS tip threw $4 in the tip jar so $27. I have read on other reviews this is a common practice here. Bummer! Food was good though.
Amazing. Everything i loved the food. The service was.excellent the woman Diva who took my order was so warm & kind and attention for detail excellent.I felt i was the one who lucked out finding a great place to deliver Diva was the person who delivered so appreciative so genuine and the kindest person. It was Old school & you dont see that anymore.Definitely going back & soon. Thanks Diva ( hope i have your name correct. You brought a nice lift to my past few days. Such an asset to your Restaurant. ( who were terrific also) & to the Industry .
I had high expectations, but very disappointed. I ordered the two slices of the pepperoni pizza and it took me back to my days in the elementary hotline lunch. My pizza looked completely different from the other pizzas that were being served. I couldnt even take a picture because it was so bad. I did take a picture of my brothers BBQ chicken pizza that looked and tasted pretty good. If you decide to come here, dont get a pepperoni slice.
My favorite pizza spot in Pleasanton. They have a great selection of toppings, to make a custom pizza. The crust is the best in the area. And their hot wings are also pretty tasty.
Extraordinary environment and super affable service. The meals were fresh and yummy. Will surely recommend this spot to anyone. Affordable prices and large portions. Keep up the great work.
They still do not have the beef ribs...but the pizza is tasty
I love pizza. Not impressed. Maybe something simple like pepperoni might be ok. Sausage is preformed like dominos. Too many better options to go back.
Digorno is better they cut corners on quality now but used to be great
Great food and they were very nice to us!
I really love this pizza restaurant! They never fail me on my high expectations. I ordered everything and in minutes, everything was done. They served all at my table outstandingly. Highly recommended for both meetings and friends!.
The pizza was amazing. I bought 2 slices and they are huge!
Awesome place very clean, the employees are so friendly, food is really good and prices are cheap definitely recommend it.
I didn’t like the fries were old
Awesome Pizza, great portions and delicious taste!
Pricy pizza and for what? It aint nothing special
Love the slices to go.
Good Halal pizza in Pleasanton
It was horrible. Waste of money. Had to add toppings to the pizza. Not worth money or time. Will not return. My Wal Mart pizza was better
I had a BOGO coupon. I told them I had a BOGO coupon but when I showed up they said they didnt have a BOGO coupon and there was a language barrier. In the end they did give me a discount however the pizza wasnt very good. It was pretty bland especially since two pizzas cost $70 after tax! They were very busy. Guy at the front was nice and tried to help.
Really good pizza
Good not great
Great customer service. Good with the kids and very patient while they decided flavors and toppings.
I was not expecting to as good as it was !! Love the pizza and they might be one of the best around . Hope they keep the same recipes
Service was great.pizza was extremely delicious.i and my boys will definetly revisit.
Yummy pizza.
The wings was burn and they are dry and tasteless 😡😡😡
Love the pizza great amazing brings me nyc memories lol my boyfriend loved it
Oh my god that chicken is so good 👌👌👌👌👌
We had a superb time in this spot. We loved the excellent ambience and the menu. The staff are very affable. I’m happy we eventually decided to visit this place.
The BEST pizza in town. Great selection of options, variety of topping and sizes, and amazing BBQ wings.
Great location and I loved the atmosphere. The pizza was great and was served hot. Staffs were nice and the service was fast.
The cheese pizza was really good! Good flop and taste. The oil was little bit more so eat it when it is still warm!
Like their pizza. Nice service. Good location as well.
Good sandwich. Good pizza. Open late during Covid-19
One of the very very few well designed and Exclusive Fitness Centers
Very authentic! Love everything on their menu!! My go-to Italian place ❤️🌸
This is one of our faves. Thick crust or thin its always top drawer.
Great pizza and great ice cream! we were on the road and my pregnant was craving pizza late in the night.... so we stopped by here and she was very happy with the taste! the pizza was amazing and the ice cream tastes delicious.... best part... theyre open late, very late! There should be more places like this around the bay area!
Best pizza and friendly people
Pizza by the slice made to order. Good price for a slice. But theres plenty of options there; to include ice cream
The service is always good here, friendly staff, good pizza for a good price. Serve yourself drinks, good selection of ice cream for dessert. They also have burgers (baked), which are quite tasty also.
Good for a late night eat. You can select from a number of menu items or build your own. Theres a nice antique galaga arcade table while you wait.
We tried vegetarian Pizza and it was so delicious. This this is the first time in my life I finished such a large Pizza. Either I was so hungry or the pizza was delicious :p
Great service. Always delicious.
Very great customer service, pizza baking skills are just amazing and I love the atmosphere and location right downtown on main street. Pizza cant get better than this
Love the big menu and Custer service . the food is pretty good too defiantly recommend when ur not try Im to cook for your family n wanna good deal with a better quality meal...
Good crust and sauce. Tasty by far
Great, affordable pizza sold by the slice. I loved that they were open late and had good to-go salads. One slice is as big as your head and they cut it in half for you, so no need to order more than one unless you want to eat half a pizza.
We came in for a quick bite. Ordered a pizza and they had complementary fruit and cookies. They threw in a free appetizer since our pizza took a little longer than expected. Good pizza. Garlic bread appetizer wasnt my thing, but I appreciate the gesture.
Been coming here since 1999. LOVE this place. I live in Utah now, but come here whenever I’m in town. Johnny is awesome and the pizza is great.
Amazing pizza.. kinda expensive but best is thin crust customized pizza!
My family moved to Pleasanton in 1993 & from what I can remember this was one of the first pizza places we tried. Weve been hooked ever since!!Any type of pizza you order will be good. But, for me a classic cheese or pepperoni is my FAVORITE!! They have the perfected the combination of flavors... from the crust is which is ALWAYS my favorite, the cheesy is delicious & cheesy, the sauce is just right NEVER too much (just the way I like it) & the pepperoni isnt too spicy. Oh ya & the slices are huge. This is what pizza is supposed to taste like!! This pizza reminds of the pizza the Ninja Turtles would eat & it would always look soo good. If you havent tried it, you need to try it, or youll never know what good pizza is!!
Ordered wings and they were disgusting. My friends and i all threw up last night after eating those wings. The guy working was really rude too. Very surprising. I used to love going here but now i will find somewhere else to get wings and pizza.
The whole pizzas are delicious, but a little pricey. Check their website for some coupons. Pizza by the slice is a little less impressive, I think they may just have some remade cheese pizza and add whatever toppings you want then put it back in the oven. Asking for extra cheese makes it much better for the slice. Open late too.
Slices are great. Thats their forte! but in my opinion whole pizzas can be overly greasy / soggy. Others i spoke with agree. Updating my negative post from 2 years ago. Some of the The Old staff and atmosphere is back and attitude towards youth customers like my now 14 year old son has improved.
Good NY Style pizza
Four stars for offering gluten free crust on any pizza - first place I’ve seen to do so. Like this review if you think wheat is overrated! Now I didn’t say it was the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had, but it did the job for sure. Also, NYP is one of the only places I’ve seen that distinguishes between “jalepeños” and “green HOT jalepeños” on their menu, which made me so happy I almost cried. Nothing against canned peppers... I just don’t like mildly spicy briny pickles on my food. Keep up the good work!
Best Pizza in Pleasanton by Far and I love their oven baked beef wrap. The beef wrap I tried for the first time today and it was great. The beef wrap was huge I even have enough for dinner. To truly enjoy a New York Style pizza you have to go here and dine at the restaurant. The pizza is so thin and crispy it is like eating a pizza in New York.
Pretty good pizza. I live in livermore and they deliver to me for a reasonable fee. Fresh ingredients. You can also get pizza by slice when youre there. Highly recommended
The pizza slices here are so big! It was a lot of food for me but the pizza was nice especially with chicken pieces. You can choose your own toppings and condiments.
Expensive and just generally not nice. I wont come back .
I dont know if pizza place with better pizza. But theyre mobile ordering experience is not good. I have to memorize the in order to figure out which buttons to press on the mobile browser. I pay by credit card online but every time I come to pick up my pizza they try to charge me again.
I sometimes go to this place for lunch. I cant comment on the authenticity of the pizza here as Ive never had am authentic one before, but it is good! You get an okay value for your money. Only complaint I have is the place is a bit run down and the bathrooms arent in top shape either. The owners are very nice at this place. I used to eat here pretty frequently and the owners recognized me and threw in some free food once with my order. I dont come here as often as I like due to my lactose intolerance, but I still highly recommend this restaurant.
Not great. Very generic. Mostly heated up catering food. Salad felt like a McDonalds ready made salad, and pizza was mediocre at best
I rarely rarely review places, because Im too lazy, but this place has the best pizza ever. The crust was on point. Crunch in every bite, and they are open till 2 am. The cheesy garlic bread was amazing. If Im ever in Pleasanton again or near by Im definitely stopping by for another slice.
Been coming here for 15 plus years, the employees are hit or miss...... The older gentleman in a hat who is a cashier is extremely rude. Told my father (who is a senior citizen) and I “Dont be lazy” when we were waiting for him to bring us our pizza to our table. This wasnt the first time he angered us. Another time he yelled at the little boy in front of me in line for taking too long to count his change. The ownership should do something about this...
Great pizza. Nice place overall. Plates, colored lamps. ice cream.
When you appetizer order of garlic bread comes in a form of freshly baked delicious pizza with herbs (without tomato sauce), you know, you are for a treat. Rack of ribs did not disappoint ether - smoked to perfection.
Pretty good calizone & salad. Soda fountain was out of service after we filled our drinks so we couldnt get any refills. Inexpensive for Pleasanton
Waited 45 minutes (we didnt hear our ordered called out, but it was late at night and loud and they should be used to this) and the owner gave us attitude when we went up and asked about the status of our order.Pizza was good but dont be so rude to customers.
Sauce meat were a little too spicy but great crust and cheesy garlic bread
Been coming here for probably 20 years or so. The pizzas amazing and their delivery range is pretty far.
I literally repeated myself 3 times to cashier and one time with one of the managers regarding what kind of very specific Pizza I wanted, THEY STILL GOT MY FKN ORDER WRONG, CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE WORST AND THE DUMBEST.They are very rude. Will never go there again. I am done.
I was nit satisfied with the customer service mir my food. The elder gentle man was not to friendly, or was just upset.
Cool ambiance, friendly staff, fast service! One slice is two whole pizza slices.
I guess its harder than I think to create a better pizza, or more likely cost effective good pizza lousy dough.
15$ for a slice of pizza and horrible wings. The wings are breaded, greasy, and baked(horrible combo). Papa Johns or pizza hut quality wings and pizza. Reviews must be a lie, owner has to be giving free stuff away for a great review.
It is amazing you get these amazing pizzas and I love it totally recommend!!!
Pizza by the slice should mean fast service. But not here.
Great pizza and ice cream. Fast and friendly service. Check for coupons online!
Great pizza and nice to have a local place thats open late (2am on a Saturday night!)!
The pizzas not bad but it is overpriced. The meatball sandwich was just like the meatballs you get in a jumbo bag in the grocery store microwaved. The staff was super friendly and theres cookies but it was disappointing
I got a slice of pizza and the price was great in the food was right
This is what I call REAL PIZZA! I only bought 2 slices, and it was delicious 👍
Great taste. Two pieces of large and I am stuffed. The ice cream is good too.
