Almost always have what you, but you may have to look long and hard for it. Thankfully, you can go on their website and it will tell you the aisle and bay of what you seek. Its a real time saver for small items.
Staff is always helpful and prices are usually very competitive
My wife was in this store tonight, looking to solve an electrical issue on an unusual light fixture at a house built 80 years ago. Whoever helped her in the electrical department obviously knew WAY more than she did about her problem and proceeded to raise his voice and man-splain how he was an electrician for 20 years and my wife couldnt possibly know what the problem was ... my wife proceeded to walk out ... this type of stuff continues to happen at several Home Depots in the Metro ... unbelievable
The stores online information is incorrect. Instead of fixing the issue they gave me a bunch of insincere apologies. The two Assistant Managers at this location need to go back to customer service training before they interact with anymore customers. The Customer Service Associates were far more talented, and were the only positive aspect of my visit.
Where do I begin....I looked up what I needed online as my friend and I were planning on plumbing fix.I found the 2 DIFFERENT items needed and checked out.I did not look at the receipt. This was a mistake, NOT looking at the receipt. When I arrived at the job, my friend had already picked up the parts, so I went to return the items I purchased. When I get to the return area, the team member says, I can give you a refund for only one of the items since, the receipt show you purchased two units of a single item not two different items.I indicated that would not work. I asked to see the individual who did the checkout. The person was still there and after a discussion, the manager was called over and the sale voided.(It was revealed during the transaction this was not the first time this happened)Of course I had to keep a close watch on my credit card account to be sure the transaction did not show up.So far so good.Moral to the story - take a physical receipt and check it before you leave.
When we have questions about our repairs, Home Depot is where we go to find employees who have the knowledge to help answer our questions. It is easy to ask about what you need and they find someone to help you. They also take the time to tell you how to do something as well as the parts and materials you will need. We had a repair we needed a professional for and they gave us a referral. The company that did the repair was excellent and affordable compared to other companies we have used.
Clean, well organized and have very thing I need.
What a joke! The place has four self checkout lanes, of which only two are functional. The one guy that works there is completely clueless. The only thing he knows how to do is tell people that two of the lanes are out of order. It would be nice if they had some adults working there.
I was working on a plumbing project at my business. To speed things up, I placed an online order for over 40 in stock pipe fittings. during the time while I was waiting for the email saying my order was ready, we disassembled the plumbing to a hot tub so that when we picked up the parts we could complete the project. I kept 2 building engineers on overtime to complete this. I realized that I was going to need more of the same fittings that I ordered, so when the email came in saying my order was ready, I heading over to home depot, bought the extra fittings I needed and headed to the online counter. I was handed one little bag and the attendant took off. I quickly realized I was short on the order and asked the next attendant what happened to the rest of my order... He said I needed to get back in line. I waited my turn and he glanced at my order. He said one item must have caused it to be held out for home delivery. I told him ALL items were in stock. he was very bothered that I would question him on this and said, you have 2 choices, wait for the items (one week out) or purchase them again and return the shipment when it comes in. then he took the next person in line while I was still standing at his counter.I did not have time to run around the store to gather all the parts I had already purchased, so I left. I sent the staff home and the project wasnt completed on time. I reached out to the home depot main line and raised the question about what happened. I was told this is a glitch that happens quite often. I asked if they could just fill the order from the store so I could continue my project, the response was no... then she started to imply that it was my fault for not noticing that AFTER I placed the order that 3/4 of my items were scheduled to be shipped and I should have cancelled the order in the 45 minute window that they allow it to be cancelled. But at this time, they can not cancel it and offer no apology for their computer glitch or compensation for the major inconvenience or the fact that now I have to spend more than an hour to go purchase the items a second time to complete my project, then wait for the shipped items to show up so I can take more of my time to drive them back to home depot to return them!I received an email an hour after my visit to fill out a survey about this visit. of course I filled this out and at the end, it asked if I would like to be contacted. I filled out my phone number and now I wait... so far 3 days with no call or email...... I will be sure to update my review after seeing how home depot responds to THEIR glitch.
I purchased a Storm Door for my home.Kevin was awesome. His knowledge of the product was very helpful in making my purchase.Frpm his product knowledge to tips on installation he was great. Will look for him on my next trip to HD.
Came in today to exchange a power tool I had purchased a few days ago that I found out had already been used by someone else and sold to me as new since it was covered in dust... Had help from 2 younger guys who were actually nice and helpful. A third older and taller guy in the power tool section was literally no help and didn’t even attempt to listen or work with me. Not sure what was wrong with him but he was honestly an a** to me and also the other employee.
As a contractor this has been my big box store of choice for 21 years. I have always found that from the pro desk to the managers to the cashier and customer service, the employees have been friendly and reasonable. If I treat them respectfully they are always equally reasonable. Sometimes vendors are aggravating but Home Depot tries to make it right.
The surrounding infrastructure is heavily congested so I always factor in extra travel time. They have a nice variety of supplies and the staff is able to answer questions with a few exceptions. Ive had misguided help on the key duplicator and excellent suggestions in the lumber department.
I looked for a small parts organizer I saw on the Home Depot app. After much time looking, I asked for help. A real nice employee helped me search for it. We didnt find it but he was a great guy!
The Home Depot in the Midwest is slightly different than one in California, and thats probably due to the temperature/humidity differences. However, I do appreciate that HD usually has a similar floor pattern so that if you have been to one youve been to nearly all of them
Had a problem with the boom lift i rented but the manager Rob was so helpful and considerate to my plea. Much appreciation to this gentleman with his professionalism. Keep up the good work and the company needs to keep such people. SHALOM!
Door expert John Calvin is extremely knowledgeable and professional at his job. I highly recommend visiting John with any door related purchases or questions.
MY FAVORITE HOME DEPOT!!The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I can usually find what Im looking for quickly (because all of the aisles are labelled), but if I cant find something, there is always someone nearby, ready to assist. I have lived all over the country and been to dozens of Home Depots and this is my favorite one by far.
Snobby customer service .lady was very rude in the garden center.i was looking at ring chimes and honestly is there a no browse policy? honestly let people be and shop .she was like your not suppose to look at that way.well maybe you guys need to place things in a area where its easier for people to look at items of interests instead of hard to reach .no way was she nice and helpful .just snobby and un smiley person
Fantastic customer care.I bought a grill from this Home Depot and it was delivered slightly damaged and missing a few small pieces. I called customer service and talked to Mitchell and his manager Drew. They immediately mailed me the missing pieces and offered to replace the grill or give me a gift card. I took the gift card because the damage didn’t impact the usability of the grill.I go here often for my home project needs and will continue to go here based on the level of care Mitchell and Drew provided. Fantastic service and people who stand by their products.
The sales lady by fridges was so patient & friendly. Just wanted to let yall know. .All I have is the number SEV1FZ .. Sorry, I always forget names. . .She had a confident answer for every question and was not at all pushy. 😊 Thank you.
Love this home Depot, the employees are always helpful and upbeat. Dont forget to check the back for the wood thats on sale, you can always find a good deal for diy projects.
The employees at this location are rude and dont like helping people out. I always have trouble here with the workers. They always have snappy remarks when you ask for something or need help. And when you finally do find help they send you off to someone else. I hate this Plymouth location. Its the only store I have issues with. And I tried so many times to make it work. But ill just take my business to menards up the street. Or another home depot location.
This is a very busy location! Not that great of outdoor plant selection this year.Best to go later in the evening a couple hours before closing if you dont like busy.
Joshua Elliot helped me finalize purchasing new carpet for my home. He was great to work with. At the same time Elliot was also training in a new hire and was balancing both with ease. Joshua remained so nice and on task, despite numerous interruptions by other shoppers. Great job Joshua!
Ordered online, for some materials to be delivered from this store - through out the entire process it said, online, that my product would be delivered next day, from this store, if I paid for express delivery. I paid for express delivery and checked out - my order confirmation says the product will be delivered in 5 days. Frustrating as I wish I knew this on the front end when planning my project. It should say the correct delivery day before you check out so you can weigh that in your decision. No option to remedy the situation after reaching out, it just is what it is. Frustrating.
Guy in the plumbing aisle is fantastic. Made sure I had all the right stuff to replace my water heater on my own.
Came to rent a skid steer....after 30 minutes of getting it hooked up and signed out they realize they dont have keys for any of the skids steers....super frustrating. Especially when you have a crew waiting on and expecting the equipment
Got to meet 3 puppies in a basket! 🤣. The young gal monitoring the Self Checkout was so helpful and Davis helped me load my truck. So impressed by this Home Depot! Thank you!! 😳
Can I just live here forever I love home depot
A one stop store for all your home or business new, repairs or restoration constuction projects. They most likely have it all.
Very good selection of everything. Very knowledgeable employees.
This is my new favorite Home Depot. They have a great gardening center.
Very nice store. Employees were very helpful
This has to be one of my most favorite Home Depots around the twin cities just cause it usually has the best garden departments...Never find plants dead there.
Want to home Depot to get Windows it was a bad experience. They wasted my time having someone come out to measure my windows just to overpriced the guy was an hour late to come measure my windows at the end I just want to a lumber yard and got the windows and got exactly what I wanted for a 10th of the cost home Depot is a shady and Im happy that lumber yards are a lot better way to do your purchases and going to those boxes I love those lumber yards you get better wood better material better everything screw the box offices rubbish garbage I know a couple of my bodys only buy from the lumber yards and never go to the home depots or Menards or any of them because theyre just they dont trust them
Their customer service is terrible and almost non existent. All the lanes are now self check out now as well. Save your time & money and take your business elsewhere. Unless you like being ignored by employees & ringing up your own purchases.
Nice store with a lot of good merchandise
It was awesome..so many helpful people. Will go back!
Came in to make a return (something I bought online). Service was fast and friendly!
They are way better than Plymouth Lowes.
This Home Depot has a really good selection on about anything you can imagine I have never been a fan of Home Depot until I started coming to this store the staff is very helpful and theyre always willing to help in all of the Departments Thank You Home Depot keep up the good work.
Good place to find the right fittings for a bolt
The layout is trash, but they all are the same. Self checkouts need to be on either entrance. Otherwise great.
Great store! Not a fan of Menards and would rather fix a car outside in the rain than go to Lowes
The staff is very knowledgeable and helped me find my items very quickly. Everyone wore masks and the cashier area was partitioned off and it looked like they cleaned it regularly.
Although the stores large size can cause customers to have to search for an associate, but when you find one, they treat you very respectfully and help you work what you need. The stores wide inventory allows you to most of the time get exactly what you need. If the store is out, they will order the parts you need and ship them to the location, letting you pick it up for free, no delivery fee. The interior is vast, but the well choreographed signs and aisle markings get you exactly where you need to go.
The worst customer service of all the Home Depot stores in Minnesota. Writing a review would only be a waste of time. Not a single employee of that store gives a damn about customers-from management down.
Good customer service. A store helper was available in every department, and they were very helpful. No waiting in the check out line, which I think is a huge plus!
Very nice selection of products...easy to get too
It was fine. Found what I was looking for easily
Right off the freeway. Friendly staff
I like the organization of the store and when i need help its not to hard to find
Worst customer service experience. I ordered the product and they never delivered the product to home. And when I call them, they say file dispute with credit card company. That is complete nonsense. Never place the order with HOmeDepot online again. You will suffer like anything. Customer service just waste your time and not resolve the issue.
This particular home depot is placed well, right off the highway. However, the staff needs some training, to put it gently.
Always find great flowers and great staff in nursery
Very helpful people and fast service!
Very helpful employees, found the material we needed and cut it to the size I needed.
I have never had more issues with returns than at this location. Staff seems uninterested in helping the customer.
Love home depot and any hardware store really they have so much neat stuff to look at.
-Great place.-Enables quick in & out.-Large assortment of relevant.building and home supplies.-
Helpful people and they love my dog. The service has been so poor lately though.I cant take much more of this place.
Nice enough location. But that guy that walks around and tries to sell everyone an air conditioner, is annoying as hell.
A great place to shop with Great employees
Staff here is always great. We stopped by tonight to purchase a small refrigerator and the gentleman greeting at the door was super helpful. So were the 2 other employees we spoke to. Cashier was smiling and friendly. Weve never had a bad experience at this store. And everything we go for is always in stock.
Its home depot.... you can usually find what youre looking for or someone will ask if you need help. Store is clean and maintained. Sometimes you can find something cool that you werent looking for. I do like that they cut wood for you. I still prefer going to Menards though.
A little bit disappointed on the website of the different home depot on depot its said that this location has what we needed and we got there and they didnt have it
Very helpful staff (they have helped me decide on paint to carrying a vanity to my car)! They have everything you need for all sorts of home projects.
Its Home Depot, so what needs to be said? However, I was once a regular customer. Then I had the paint department assist with selecting a stain color for my deck based on the current color. The swatch looked identical to my deck, so I purchased a couple gallons of stain. Then I tested it on a piece of wood and it looked nothing like the swatch. I brought the wood in and Home Depot made me feel bad about it, blamed me, and shrugged as if theres nothing they could do. It was an all-around bad experience. The least they could have done is sympathize and offer to refund my money, since they couldnt match the swatch. Nothing. What is the purpose of a swatch if the stain looks nothing like it? I would have kept the stain anyway, because I needed something and whats the point of wasting one stain for another stain that doesnt match anyway? At the end of the day, its Home Depots loss, because I built a new home nearby and have purchased and installed all the fixtures, appliances, sunroom, deck, basement framing/electrical/plumbing, landscaping, etc. from the Lowes in town. Decent customer service is cheap. Tens of thousands in lost sales for one store...
I have found what I was looking for.
I had a priced a patio set on the web. I called 2 days and talked to someone. The price showed 899.00. I called before driving 50 miles to ensure still available. When we got to the store the set was marked 1090.00. They initially refused to honor the price. They said online prices are not the same as the store prices. After much conversation they did finally honor it.
This review is centered around the tool rental amenity at Home Depot. In terms of hardware stores in the Plymouth area, this definitely gives Home Depot a leg up over Lowes. They have everything from power washers to cement mixers and floor sanders and even outdoor landscaping equipment available. At Lowes none of this is available, I am personally a much bigger fan of Home Depot over Lowes now because of this function, its so great to be able to use some tools that you will likely only need for one day in a year or so without having to buy them and then have them sit in your garage for eternity. I will definitely be coming back to rent more tools should I need to. There are 24 hour and four hour rental periods available and the costs for 24 hours is extremely reasonable when compared to 4 hour rentals. For example, the electric power washer I rented was $28 for four hours but $40 for 24 hours and so it was a no-brainer to get the 24 hour option and knock out my garage, porch, and deck in one day. Overall, very satisfied.
Excellent customer service
Sandy was amazing, gentle and super helpful! She was kind ! I found everything I needed it! Thanks to Sandy!
Best store to get what you want because the workers are actually helpful unlike menards, the store layout is the same from one location to the next. The lumber is generally terrible and the online inventory is never accurate.
Clean and organized store. There were employees available to give directions and advice. Self checkout was fast and easy!
Its often the things I need here are out of stock or theres a full pallet sitting nearby, but completely wrapped, rendering it useless. They take way longer to fulfill online orders than other stores. The employees I have interacted with seem to be kids who dont really have a desire to do much else than stand around. I avoid this Home Depot when possible.
Hello - Saturday my wife called 3 different home depots to look for a grill for me for fathers day. Found two in stock at the Plymouth Minnesota store. She asked if she could buy it and was they couldnt take a credit card over the phone, but told her she should buy it online and pick it up as that would be the best way of guaranteeing we secured it.We did that. $749 spent. Later we got a call asking if we wanted it put together or not. I said Id prefer the one in the box.We were excited to drive down and get it (it was a 30 minute drive!) We went to the store, went inside and were told they never had any in stock. I asked to talk to the manager, Mason. He was less than helpful and was actually, I felt, extremely disrespectful and indifferent. Didnt apologize, didnt offer to help, nothing. Just gave a refund and, as we walked away, went on to laugh with other associates. It was unbelievable!I purchase so much from home depot (can tell by all the tools I have registered), but Ill tell you I will never go back to that location. No customer should ever be laughed at, especially by a manager.Needless to say, we went to Fleet farm and spent over $1000 with them and will continue to give them my service. I have never felt so disrespected in my life especially by an organization who told us what to do and we did it.I just thought others should know.
Its a good place to get your home improvement fix and has nearly everything a do-it-yourselfer would need to fix a f#¢k up or build anything from a deck to a dock, a display for a rock or even a clock!. The lumber isnt always the straightest and sometimes definitely not the greatest, but if you lookblong and gard enough youll probably find one or two that will do. But from timr to time the sticks will be fine, you just never know.... Until you go. Hope you dont mind the color orange because its everywhere, and plan your next trip to the Home Depot
Just left the store, they are horrible, they are bait and switch the snow blowers. The manger said that their is nothing they can do about it. I will never purchase anything from Home Depot, again. I like menards better anyway.
Called to see if specific item was in stock before driving 30 miles. I called at 6:30pm. They close at 8pm. After two unanswered calls to hardware, I was instructed to call earlier, like by 4pm, in the future, because they start weaning out associates. There is no one here to help you. Huh?! So, riddle me this, if the product I wanted was under a locked area, would I be able to purchase it as there is no one to help?In the end, I ended up trusting the .com website which stated there were two of this item in stock. There was indeed two. I didnt need an associates help, thankfully. Strangely enough, lots of associates were around. So, call before 4pm to make sure you get helped before they close at 8pm.
We were in need of an exhaust cap for the exhaust fans. We have an account with The Home Depot. Find the parts and give them the name of our company. Install the parts and we are back doing other tasks!
Train the crew members and let the know that customers react to the attitude and energy they give.
Incredibly rude and potentially misogynistic. When asking genuine questions because I am new to the area and the store, I was treated like I was a little girl and was expected to do things that they should have done. Terrible service and I will never be returning again.
Fun to shop here.
Completely stocked with plenty of help available. Cutting wood is also available such as sheets of plywood.
Dont really know what to say about this place. Has everything youd expect to find at home depot, and every employee Ive interacted with there has been very friendly and helpful.
The people were helpful.
Every one was very helpful
Good and helpful employees
I had help looking for what I needed and found what I needed. Everything went smooth and the Customer Service was excellent!
Steve in flooring is absolutely phenomenal! Best customer service Ive had in a very long time! He went way above and beyond to help me save money on flooring. He called around other stores to confirm they had the product I needed, assisted with online ordering and helped me find the best deals. I was super impressed!
It’s Home Depot. What more do I need to say. It’s hard to find what your looking for as product placement doesn’t quite make sense a lot of times. Ie., why would you out moving boxes with “bathroom fixtures”??
Very helpful staff! They allowed me to exchange an item that had broken (sliding screen door roller), without bringing the packaging or the receipt. I was quite impressed. Thank you Home Depot.
