Wow. If I could give 0 stars I would. My wife brought in her car to get her brakes changed and to fix her headlight that was out. I dropped her off by the time they said it would be done. No she had to wait another half hour to hour afterwards. She leaves and she has grinding within a mile of leaving. She calls John to tell him and he responds oh it’s normal it’ll go away. Never did. Oh and they never fixed the headlight. Then John tries to make it right and says bring it back and I’ll take care of it if it didn’t go away. Well we decided to trust him once again... Mistake. My pregnant wife on her one day off schedules a day to go drop her car back off a second time by 9 am and kill sometime nearby cause she reiterated I have no ride elsewhere and will be waiting nearby cause she has no vehicle. And let me state again it was to fix the brakes he didn’t fix correctly and to fix the headlight they also didn’t fix the first time. She waited and waited and finally they said it would be done by 3 pm. She walks over at the time to go pick up her car. Yet again they did NOT fix her brakes, did NOT fix her headlight and never ordered a part or tried to make any mends to fix it. John said give me a couple days notice then I’ll order some parts and fix it. What a piece of trash. The good reviews must be only from friends or family because I don’t know how he could ever be in business. Now my wife has 4 flashing lights on her dashboard. Never did prior. Every time my wife brought her car into John Sines it left worse than arrival. Again if I could give 0 stars I would. You’ll have better luck anywhere else!

I have gone to John almost 9 years now. I have taken every car to him that I have owned and he has always been honest with me and extremely generous. He doesnt cut corners and he doesnt add services that arent needed at the moment. He beats all prices when I compare them- I shop around even when I know I am going to him to see what I will save. The work of his team is high quality and they are reliable. I even ask for car advice from him when I am on the market for a new vehicles. He has become a friend over this time and I will always support this business.

After seeming like they had my interest in mind, they quickly were more interested in buying my car after it was deemed from insurance to be totaled. They towed it to another location with all my belonging inside and with insurance asking for the vehicle, I did eventually get my stuff and the car back but it was a major hassle. Also they left my stuff in a box outside where anyone could come and grab it. Ill never go back when I thought maybe I found somewhere I would go forever. Not good customer service.

Fast friendly service. They have repaired 2 cars for me that were involved in collisions. The work was amazing and the prices were fair. I highly suggest this place to anyone

John is the reason I feel comfortable owning an Audi. What more can anyone ask for? His prices for repairs have always be less than 50% of any other mechanic Ive received quotes from, and that is no exaggeration! $600 for a timing belt service?! $900 for a new clutch?!?! It feels like Im getting away with stealing! Ill gladly trust that hes taking care of himself and enjoy the benefit of saving thousands of dollars on repairs for as long as hes willing to keep accepting my business.If every industry had the equivalent of a John Sines, the world would be a better place.

Im not from the state of Minnesota originally, and when I first moved here I unfortunately found myself in need of some mechanical work on my Kia. When you have an unplanned need for repair work, its a bit disheartening to say the least, and I hate searching for new service providers. Im fairly handy with a wrench and always grimace at the need to pay someone to do maintenance on my vehicles.I called due to other reviews I read and John got me in right away. The problem was something I had misdiagnosed, and he kept me updated. I expected quite a bill since I saw Maseratis, Bentleys and other high dollar import vehicles when I dropped it off. I was shocked on the final bill (in a good way). It was less than 20% of what I had expected.Needless to say, Ive brought in all of my vehicles to John Sines Import Repair since. They replaced my leaf springs on my truck for half of what the dealership quoted me, and most recently replaced some faulty engine and transmission sensors and had my new tires mounted at the same time. Once again I was expecting a fair bill, but was happy with the pricing.I felt comfortable purchasing an Italian import recently in part due to the service Ive received here. When I called this morning to schedule an inspection, John answered the phone with a Good Morning Dustin and then we proceeded to come up with a time that worked for us (Christmas week). That unheard of level of customer service is the reason I took the time to review this shop today.Ive recommended this location to friends who have had the exact same experience I did, and will be coming here as long as Im still in this state.

I have been going to his shop for two years. My family has always found that he always has the best prices out of all of the local shops. Just recently I dropped off my car after hitting a stop sign. All I said was that I needed it to be fixed asap and gave him my insurance papers and he just nodded and told me he would call the next day to give me information. I was told by the insurance adjuster that i totaled my car, and during that guys visit i called john asking him what to do. He promptly told me to bring it to him and he will take care of the rest. I would trust him with any imported car. He is fast, has amazing prices, and is customer friendly. Please go to him, it is totally worth your while!!!
