Probably one of the most disappointing experiences I have had in many years. Bought a used motor from them on trade in and its a lemon. Worked great through the 30 day warranty period then nothing but problems. I have maybe 30 hours on this motor and Ive had to pull it twice because of major issues...ecu card, fuel pump now oil pump...they had my boat the entire summer this time to fix it and just emailed me the invoice...not even a call. I would suggest steering of this place...buyer beware

225 merc optimax. Diagnosed and repaired in less than 3 days. Constant communication w Ryan while he had my boat. Motor is running like a dream. They even kept my boat inside for 2 days after it was repaired during the march snowstorm. Wont bring my boat anywhere else.

We bought our 20 Whaler Outrage from Ron Cribbie in 1986 and weve had it serviced and worked on every season since then by Ron, Ryan and the team at Atlantic Boat. From routine maintenance to engine overhauls to new engine installs, electronics and too much custom design work to name here, Atlantic Boat has provided a level of service that has been opf the highest quality every single time. Nobody else has worked or will work on my boat, no matter what I need. If you need service, rebuilt engines, or virtually any custom work done on your power boat, Atlantic Boat should be your one and only call.

These guys are absolute thieves. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. I was charged $1,000 for replacing a 30$ key switch. They charged 3.5 hours to remove a small plastic storage box in my center console, that they must not have realized was screwed in on the inside, which left nice gouge marks on my center console. They also didn’t even mount a bracket to the new key switch, just glued it in. Then I realized they did more damage then they fixed; they knocked out a plastic accessory cover on my engine housing and lost it, knocked off my trailer bearing cover and lost it, and they broke the corners off my control panel when they removed the screws and never secured it. When I called and asked them about all the issues, they just denied they did any of it. Also they recommended replacing my control cables, thankfully I declined, once I got home my shifter wouldn’t work (it’s been perfectly fine for 10 yrs). Find another boat mechanic.

Well some of you who read my post know that I have had some issues with my boat this season! Well I highly recommend contacting Ryan Fontaine over at Atlantic Outboard Repair in PLYMOUTH, MA. They did a great job diagnosing my issue with my Fitch Evinrude and had me back on the water promptly! I have been running the boat the past few weeks and have not had a problem at all. As a side note it is quieter and I picked up a couple extra kph at the same RPM I was cruising at even with my banged up prop before installing their new one. If your having issues or looking for a boat in a limited budget and don’t want to deal with BS at other places give these guys a call! HIGHLY Recommend!!!!PS they have a beautiful restored 23’ Chawk CC for sale with a completely restored outboard!

**STAY AWAY**. This place is a lost cause. Make this your last destination next time you need boat repairs. Careless, trashy guys running the place. Got my boat repaired from this place, and found myself being towed by the coast guard two hours later.
