They didnt have exactly what we were looking for on display in the showroom, but Chelsie took time to get to know our tastes and emailed a bunch of options to us. Her suggestions were spot on! Robinson Lighting has an incredible showroom. Great selection!!!! We began our Home Remodel in December 2020. This project went through June 2021. We made many purchases at Robinson. We had two incredible sales associates to assist us, Chelsie and Kelly-Jo. Chelsie is professional and knowledgeable on product. Chelsie was always happy to help in our adventure. This company can source any light on the market. The showroom is constantly being switch out to represent the latest styles and trends. They have an inspiration showroom and outdoor gallery in the back that is absolutely stunning! The associates who work there are very knowledgeable and friendly. Worked with a saleswoman named Jona, who was wonderful and patient with helping us find several chandeliers and lights for our home. The selection is great, and they have even more in their catalog. The prices were very good and ~10-20% lower than other lighting stores we visited. We will definitely be coming back to buy more.

We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and I decided to go to Robinson lighting in order to purchase lighting for over our island, table and above the sink. It was a horrible experience. When I entered the showroom, there were three women working. One woman asked if she could help me and when I told her what we were doing she just told me to look around the store. After perusing the main floor, I went up to the counter in order to show them a picture of a fixture I had seen on their website and asked if they might have it. The answer I received was cold and rude. I was told we dont carry everything in our showroom. Ok. Then I asked, do you have anything similar? You could look over here. Again, nothing. No offer to help, no questions about what I might be looking for, no. direction. whatsoever. I literally then said, I would like to buy something, could you help me at all. I was taken to a table which contained several, enormous lighting catalogs. She then started to talk a bit more - but offered hardly any direction or advice. I needed help and direction. I felt like I was standing there willing to give them money if someone would just help me!!!! We found a couple pages of some things that might work- although - no advice, little questions. I took some pictures, etc. I then had to go to the desk again and inquire about the prices since none of that information was offered to me. They made two copies from the catalog. You seriously need to improve your customer service. I am not confident buying from you and you showed no interest in wanting my business. I am going elsewhere where I will be treated with respect and will be given good advice and direction.

This is a showroom that I visit frequently and consider it to be a real find! The lighting selections are incredible, beautifully displayed and organized! Every time I go back, I see something new. This includes other items like lamps, mirrors, art, ceiling fans and other home furnishings like small tables, unique candle sticks and trays. Many treasures to be found, experienced staff and customer friendly!

Cartier Lighting has been our source of lighting and home accessories for nearly twenty years – during the course of remodeling two homes and building a new one. Their selection of fixtures is the best in the Twin Cities and their knowledgeable, friendly sales people have always gone the extra mile to help us find exactly what we were looking for. We stop at Cartier Lighting regularly to see their ever-changing selection of lighting, mirrors and exquisite home accessories.

My designer who I worked with on my indoor remodel loved this place so I got all my indoor lighting there. However, when I returned recently on my own to shop for outdoor lighting, I didnt have a good experience. They have a relatively small selection of outdoor lighting in their showroom, and the sales staff was not attentive. The place wasnt busy, and there were a number of staff walking around, so I didnt understand why I was not greeted for a while. The person who eventually helped me did not seem very interested in my project. I went into the store hoping for helpful suggestions on what would look good on my house, and I did not get what I was looking for. Left empty-handed and bought my lighting elsewhere.

Ordered some kitchen lights sales person said well get them in 6 weeks, 4 months later no show no call and theyre indifferent about it actually snobby!

Be prepared to be ignored in this place unless you are dressed very nicely and look like you have money- or you are obviously a contractor. Selection is limited. Prices are high. We were offered a builders discount but still found the same light for less elsewhere. The salesperson who finally helped us (after I followed her around awhile) was very pleasant, but did not offer much knowledge on the lighting we were interested in. The location of this store is easy to get to and very close to other home improvement type of stores. The store was very clean and well organized with the exception of the clearance room. If you order something and dont like it, you may return it, but it will have to pay a 50% restocking fee. Yes, 50%! Unbelievable!
