Must be buzzed in due to covid but very nice, small selection of tile. Perfect for my small project needs. There was an extremely helpful saleswoman who assisted me in buying the perfect color of complimentary grout, and recommended a sealant so the grout wouldnt change the color of my natural stone tile. Will definitely check here for my next small tile project

My boyfriend and I just bought a house and with that, came a whole slew of hidden problems that were not caught until after the purchase. Our largest one being the master bathroom, to the tune of $27,000. Now our bathroom is not overly large, so the damage caused by the leaking was wide spread and we were not prepared to have this huge expense right after buying this house.That is where Kate-lo came in. I had a friend that recommended them based on fair prices and having a great experience with Mike. My boyfriend and I went over to look at tile and waited patiently while Mike was helping another couple with some tile choices. We spoke a little with a woman named Karen, she seemed nice enough but not very knowledgeable. As Mike was finishing up, he asked Karen if she could order a sample tile for the couple and that was when her whole demeanor changed. She got very snappy and very loudly exclaimed yes, Id love to even though I already shut my computer down and Im supposed to be clocking out in 4 minutes.Now Ive worked in customer service for over 25 years, management and non-management positions and to say something like that in ear shot of customers is so unacceptable to me. Not only does it look completely unprofessional, but it makes the customer feel unwelcome or causing an imposition. Not a good feeling at all. What was even more unsettling, was to hear Mike is in fact the manager... and Karen spoke to him, like this... in front of customers. Not just my boyfriend and I, but two other couples.All in all, I would recommend Kate-lo based on our interactions with Mike and the product alone. If Mike is busy, wait... or come back when hes free. Dont bother with Karen at. I would have rated 5 stars, but rated 4 stars based on the attitude I witnessed from Karen.

Great prices for tile under 200 sf. Didnt like their grout, tho...hard to work with. Customer service was excellent! Would recommend over big box stores all day long.

Typically I dont write reviews, but due to my outstanding experience with Mike Bull and the Kate Lo Tile & Stone center I had to write. My experience began when we heard about Kate Lo from friends and stopped in to look around. Kate Lo has a huge selection of discounted tile and we picked out different tile for two bathrooms and a large kitchen/dining room area. For the bathrooms we picked out room floor tile, shower tile, and various highlight tiles. For the Kitchen/dining are we picked floor tile and a matching sink backsplash. All the rooms were color coordinated including custom grout colors. I am very impressed by Mike Bulls attention to detail, polite professionalism, easy going demeanor, and his ability to multitask with other customers & phone-in business. Mike gently asked questions and helped us determine our needs based on our dimensions and descriptions of what we were trying to accomplish. Mike is a former floor installer and very knowledgeable regarding the best way to prepare the space, what products are available, and what products would work best for the situation at hand. Additionally Mike promptly takes care of problems as they arise. My wife and I used an installer based upon a friends referral who made basic mistakes which he was unwilling to fix. He pretended to have expertise and experience, but after working over twice as long as his estimated completion time, he walked off the job and quit leaving us hanging with an incomplete remodel job. We had to re-do some of his work and find another contractor to finish the job. Mike Bull is a great resource for technical questions, he knows what he has in inventory, and he was able to quickly do add-on orders and advise us on the best way to correct errors of our former installer. Great place if you can handle very long wait. I used them often during my bathroom project. Often I would come in with no one at the front desk; I would call - no one answers. Once I waited for 10 minutes before going to the back. They were sitting there just chatting. But.. good prices, great inventory, and good products! Make sure you check the order (they made mistakes 2X) and dont wait - look for people.

I had been looking for the perfect tile for a kitchen renovation for a month. Stopped in and found it at Kate-Lo Outlet. The staff is fabulous.Very knowledgeable and helpful. Mike was kind enough to give me a sample to take to the cabinet/counter top shop. When I came back to purchase it, Mike and Nick were great - making sure I ordered enough but not too much; giving a great price on the bullnose too. I cant recommend them enough - and that says a lot.

A little more expensive than one of the mega stores but they were very helpful and spent the time to explain the whole process to us. We were able to file the whole kitchen with their instructions. The loading service is very slow though so dont be in a rush to .get out of there.

Have used Kate-Lo on a few tile projects in the past, but will be hard to trust moving forward. When ordering last tile (small job, one box), price did not include freight. When asked what freight cost would be, response was no more than 5-10 dollars. To my surprise, I was on the hook for $43 when told it was ready for pick up. When asked for an explanation, I received an apology for the mis-information but no resolution. Kate-Lo representatives were courteous and kind, but to leave a customer on the hook for a difference of $30+ is not acceptable. I could not return the tile either, so I was left hanging out to dry with no option but to pay the outstanding charge. Disappointing to say the least.

A friend recommended that I checkout the Kate-Lo Outlet for tile for our up north cabin. The selection was limited, but met my every need for a modern kitchen backsplash (glass subway tile) and a walk in shower. The best part was the staff. The manager helped me understand the difference between the tiles, including their quality and the types of tile that would work best in each environment. He helped me to understand how tile typically would be finished if there are visible edges. And he facilitated efforts to buy more of the discounted subway tile through the regular Kate-lo sales desk. The manager also helped me to understand the language of tile laying -- modified mastic, decoupler pads (and their purpose), modified mastic, trims. He noted that Kate-Lo offers great pricing on Schleuter products, which proved better than my up north contractor could secure. All in all, great service, a great education, and great pricing. I highly recommend!

This place is horrible. We received the wrong tile of course you are unable to put up pictures which we have showing wrong color. The manager told us to bad you signed a disclosure saying color may very. This place is extremely unprofessional and I would never ever recommend doing business with them.
