Went with a friend and they were very nice and very thorough woth making sure everything worked right and would last. They have a dog in the office who was so sweet and well behaved. When i buy my next vehicle i will definitely be going here.
Dependable auto has discontinued business. Lot sold to Creekside auto. Good place to go for a reasonably priced used car.
Just moved to the area and was looking to buy a car. No one came to assist me when I pulled into the lot. When someone finally came out, he was very cold and clearly had no interest in helping me. Then I got told several lies, including that as a first time car buyer I had to put 20% of the payment down. The guy then told me since I hadnt been working at my job for more than 6 months it would be impossible for me to buy a car. I was confused and went to another dealership where they told me that I was lied to at Dependable Auto Sales. I was able to get a great deal on a car from that dealership that same week. Not sure what is going on at this place but it isnt good business. Do not go here!
They were really straightforward and willing to negotiate since we paid in cash and practically drove our vehicle off the lot. Only reason why they dont get 5 stars is because it took forever to get a refund - otherwise, top notch.
Great experience buying a pickup here. Tom and Paxton were especially helpful and made the entire experience enjoyable, which is hard to do for me. I don’t enjoy shopping for anything, but I needed a pickup, and they helped me find one for a great deal.Definitely returning for a future vehicle purchase.
Sold a truck to my friend that broke down a week after him having it. They lost my business and everyone i know.
Part of the “deal” in purchasing was that an oil leak that the truck had would be fixed. Not only was it not fixed, but their go to mechanics made it worse, broke the valve cover never put in a valve cover gasket but used silicone, and silicones the crack in the valve cover. They should have also replaced the o-rings on my coolant lines when they took my turbos off to “fix” my valve cover leak ( which was actually the vacuum pump going to the brake booster) so my coolant lines went bad, I had a never ending coolant leak, and an even worse oil leak... but $4387.01 out of pocket and I have a nice truck. Be careful with these guys.
If I could give Dependable Auto 10 stars I would!! Best customer service they have gone above and beyond! Bought a car from them 3days later it had some problems they stood behind it fixed it and let me drive a loaner car the entire time. I have never been treated so well they are nice and friendly and also helped me with bad credit I highly recommend them to everyone!!!
Great dealership to do business with. Paxton and Craig take care of there customers!
I would defiantly do business with Paxton at Dependable Auto Sales again! He gave us a fair trade price on our Dodge Ram. The Ford Expedition we bought had a few minor problem that we noticed at the time of purchase. Paxton promised he would have them looked at and repaired. Drove the SUV to Bear Lake over the weekend and had a great time in it. Delivered the vehicle Monday morning to the dealership, picked it up later that day with everything fixed as promised. Trustworthy car dealership if you ask me.
I rent ATVs they are lots of fun also good selection of cars and trucks less expensive than the Big Lots
Though we didnt buy anything i would recommend this place as a HONEST car sales and will keep them in mind when every im looking for a used dependable car. Because of the Honesty.
I have bought 10 plus cars from Paxton and his crew at Dependable. Always on top of things, and if he doesnt have it, he can get it for you! Highly recommend!
Bought a gti Volkswagen from here and it’s been a disaster. Oil spills, miss fires, headlights lights stopped working, engine blew out little over a year after I bought it. I tried to get them to trade it but they ignored me after they new the engine was blown so now I have to do car payments and just purchased a new engine. Do not buy a car from here you’ll end up regretting it and will cost you thousands of dollars I bought the car for $11,000 paid in repairs $6,300 comes out to a total of $17,300 which the car is not worth that much I can get a 2018 for that price. |Don’t purchase from here|
Small but decent dealership they seem to have a good selection of vehicles
Great customer service, and great owner. Does whatever it takes to get you qualified for a vehicle that meets your expectations
Not only have I bought a car here, but Ive sent friends here as well. Not a single one of them has had a bad thing to say! With a large connection network across the city and state, he can get anything youre looking for at a good price. And if something is wrong or needs fixed, he can help with that too!
I got a car from here they let me take it before because I was approved. They messed up on my paper work. And They still havent gave me my down payment back. Plus They cracked my windsheild and scratch my car that i traded in. Needless to say i will never go there again.
I would like to say both Sheldon and the boss of Pocatello dealer were nice guys but it doesn’t beat the point that I would never buy another vehicle or tell someone to go there to buy one. The reason for this is that in the last 5 months that I have had the truck, I’ve had to replace the break pads in the front myself and the just the past two weeks I had to replace the water pump which was only 112 plus my time. Which that wasn’t the big deal specially when you get a older vehicle with 170k miles on it, your going replace some things, and I had no problems with that. If there is signs when you just check the fluids and they’re all low. I would just walk away from it because I should of. After I bought it there was no signs of liquids underneath the truck so I Took it to mechanic because I was losing a lot of oil and I couldn’t see where it was going. So further into the checking of my truck they found where the leak was. Which was by the crankshaft and the seal was broken and also so was the crankshaft was, which made the seal leak oil, and my transfer case had several pinhole leaks. Once this was all found I even took to another machanic just to make sure of the findings, and guess what, It was all true. I got told by both machanics that you can fix those things but they will be close to just buying a brand new Longblock engine and a new transfer case. It cost me $6700 for everything to be fixed. I am not very happy about this and to give you a idea I bought the truck 8600 plus this $6700 of a grand total of $15300 that I am into this truck and that’s not including the brand new tires. I am keeping truck because I like the truck and I don’t want someone else to get shafted Like did. Buyers beware and if your going to buy from there, take it to machanic shop to get it looked over before you buy. It will save a headache, time, and money.
Good clean used autos ay fair prices
Only cared about the sale, didnt care follow through on promises made. Finally got a brake appt to change brakes like they said after they called us liars about them saying it and Alameda Automotive didnt even change them. Ill make sure everyone knows not to go here. Worst car buying experience.
