We have had many issues with a carpet installation we had done a couple years ago where the carpet wasnt power stretched and the stairs done incorrectly. Mike Hoskins has now visited us twice to fix these issues and he always does a fantastic job. He is always on time, super friendly, hard working, and does amazing work. Highly recommend! Because of his work, we buy from Franklin Building Supply.

Franklins is a great company to do business with. They sell quality product, they will treat you fair, and take the time to help you with any problems. They have great people managing the store, some of the best sales team in the region. I recommend using them for all you construction needs.

Alan in windows is absolutely amazing. Very helpful in making sure that the window well covers we bought were perfect for our house. I highly encourage using Alan for all of your window needs! I cant say enough nice things of how great he is to work with.

I have had overall great experiences with Franklin Building Supply in Pocatello. They are very professional and quick to help with the customers needs. During my recent visit last week, Alan Pooley helped me get what I needed. He jumped in quickly to help me and also helped me load my purchased items. I was very impressed and grateful for Alan and have been very impressed overall with Franklin Building Supply.

They dont even sell doors or windows to anyone except one contractor in the area all weather doors and windows and he is a giant ripoff. Funny thing is when i got a quote from all weather, Dave recomended not using franklin building supply. So why would anyone use them if the only contractor they sell to doesnt even like using them? Also take down your sign that says open to the public because you arent. Youre not even open to other contractors.

Nice little store for quick trips. Nicely arranged home decor displays. Friendly helpful staff and a clean comfortable well organized store. The employee and I couldnt find what I was needing so he recommended a couple of competitors. Pretty amazing thing to do these days.

She helped us decide what carpet would be best for our needs in 3 different rooms with one color that would work for all and also to mention receiving great value, ease of scheduling installation dates and great pricing! 2nd Mike Hoskins carpeted one of the rooms 8 yrs ago... when we went looking for carpet we found out that he no longer was with that company... As it happened, Mike had gone on to work for Franklin not long after he had installed the our carpet. We were delighted to find out we could get the installer we wanted and then our carpet! He is wonderful to work with, extremely knowledgeable and a master to his trade!!!!! If we had to rate Franklin Building, Shannon Brown and Mike Hoskins 1-10...10 being the highest marks... We needed our carpet stretched after being installed for 2 years and they came to resolve the issue in a timely manner. They have been very willing to help resolve the issue.

Showed up with a load of lumber 35 minutes before closing, and was unload within 15 minutes. Was highly impressive.

A miscommunication on our order took place. When we noticed it on our bill they looked into the matter and fixed it immediately. Very impressed with their integrity!

Lois and Wendy spent a great deal of time helping me with the painstaking decisions I needed to make regarding new carpet and flooring for the remodel of my home. Tom helped me to make the right choice for my new front door. Mike installed my new carpet and flooring throughout my house and I am extremely pleased with his work ethic and concern that everything be done right. I hope to not have anything more done to my home in the future; however, if I find that I have such need or desire I will definitely use Franklin. Im glad we have a place in town to get harder to order items for construction, but their customer service is pretty poor. And their communication is even poorer.

We ordered a door in June, and it took two weeks for them to come by and measure the door frame so it would fit. Today we showed to see if/when our door is finished. They couldnt find any records until we discussed what we ordered and they found it. The door was sitting there ready to be worked on but hasnt been put into production mode. Some of the employees are very helpfull. It is hard to give them a good rating because they dropped the ball twice.

I dont typically write reviews but let me counter a few negative posts. Franklin Building provided great service for my purchase of roofing materials a few years back. Overall prices were best in town. They delivered to the roof with the purchase, not just the driveway for a fee. Available selections for style and better quality were there.I have done estimates for other projects and Franklin isnt always the recipient, but many times they are. Check your options and Franklin may become your savings and quality source.

People helpful in store, but like almost every other business here, they dont show up. They dont call, nothing.

I was shockingly surprised of quality of service at Franklin Building Supplies. Simply for the fact that the guy who helped me went above and beyond the normal expectations of any place Ive been to thus far in Pocatello i.e. Home Depot and Lowes. He literally wheel and deal a great sale and gave me the assistance I needed to get what I needed for repairing my wall. I just anybody needing home repairs head over to Franklin Building Supplies because they are exceptional at what they do!

The prices here are much cheaper than buying at bigger chains like Lowes or Home Depot. My experience wasnt great because I had ordered several custom door frames. They did not contact me within a few days when I was told they would be done. When I did contact them the frames had been cut to the wrong sizes so they had to make. New ones. When I finally got the frames one of them still had the wrong dimensions. It may have been that I had a smaller order than a consistent contractor, but overall I found their customer service to be sub-par.

Lumber yard and mill works decent service and competitive prices caters more to contractors than the general public

I once again went to the best Building Material business in Pocatello, Idaho, Franklin Building Supply. I had a door that I needed replaced. It was a complicated exterior door and being a professional DIY-er, I knew the concerns that Franklin Door Shop would have trying to “retro fit” my door. I explained what I needed and I was willing to take any responsibility and liability for the work that they would do, knowing that the warranty would be in question once they were done. Franklin Door Shop was hesitant to do what I asked, but I needed it and there was no other way my project could be completed without them going out on a limb. They did it and my door came out perfect. I recognize that I asked the impossible and the probable failure and cost would have been on my shoulders, still knowing this I’m so grateful that they took the chance and I am incredibly happy with the result. Thank you Franklin Building Supply Door Shop. You are the best.

Customer service is very lacking. I ordered a door and for three weeks nothing got done with it unless I followed up with them every step of the way. They did not contact me when they said they would and didnt even let me know when it was ready for pick up.
