I dont remember what the first repair guy swapped out but I know its something thats supposed to make my PC slower. Im definitely giving the first guy some awful reviews.By the way, the first guy almost charged us like 350 dollars while your repair price was half of that.You seem like a cool dude. :)

Was told by one of the big chain stores that it would be about 3 weeks to get my laptop looked at, brought it to Jeff and next day he called to give me options on repairs. This is the only place I will go to for laptop repairs moving forward. Highly recommend

I was told my hard drive was shot on my HP All In One. Asked Jeff to take a look at it and replace if needed or let me know if I needed a new PC. He called the next day and said it wasnt the hard drive but a windows update that messed everything up. So, what could have been an expensive new PC going for about $800 +, or a new hard drive, ended up with Jeff recovering my data from my external hard drive, cleaning the PC and the cost was about $175. He is a very honest, knowledgeable guy. I highly recommend him.

I had walked into this pace a couple weeks ago with a gaming laptop with a busted screen. Unfortunately i dont remember the mans name but he was the most honest and helpful man i have talked to about my cracked screen out of all five or six shops i had visited or called that day tying to get my laptops screen fixed. The honesty this man gave me was so helpful because it saved me money and time. He made it clear that the age of my laptop wasnt worth the fix because of its model and age. However the tip he gave me was too order a screen and fix it myself to save me about 100 dollars. Im not tech savy but what he explained to me was the easiest fix and best way to go about it. I ended up taking his advice by ordering a replacement screen and fixing it myself in which he explained to me how to do and what to look for, this saved me so much money and time with the acknowledgment that the laptop wont last too long due to its slowly divided power connection of my power button and charger. Jeff is the BEST! My desktop wouldnt start and the Geek Squad didnt have a clue and said they would have to send it out...2-3 weeks! Jeff wouldnt give up and finally got it up and running. FANTASTIC!!

Had the pleasure of meeting Jeff after reading all these positive reviews mentioning him. He definitely lived up his good reputation of very friendly and knowledgeable and was able to explain everything in laymans terms. Unfortunately my SSD was beyond repair and I needed to replace it. Jeff recommended me a great replacement model and after loading Windows 10 and everything back on the laptop its insanely faster.Unfortunately the old drive was so shot that he was unable to recover the data (NVMe SSD) but he went above and beyond to try for me. I would definitely recommend APV and although I hope I never need them I would definitely return if I did.

Ive been a business customer for 18 years. I wouldnt even consider going elsewhere. I purchase my desktop computers from APV. They are my IT department as well. Routine maintenance, emergency service, upgrades, they do it all, timely, and for a reasonable price. I cant speak highly enough of APV.

Woke up a few days ago and noticed I lost my Wi-Fi symbol and the ability to get online. Worked on the problem for hours with no luck. Called APV and spoke with Jeff who said bring it right in.Brought my Notebook in and Jeff worked on it for over 30 minutes checking every register and told me that the Wi-Fi was totally missing from my computer. He then got me back online. Jeff is a wonderful technician and an all around nice guy, APV is getting all my business.

Not only was he extremely helpful, but I was told exactly what the problem was and what was done to fix it. Service was quick and the cost was much lower than I expected. Answered the phone despite being closed because not considered an essential business - 🤨 - the screen on the laptop my son is using for remote learning cracked while in tablet mode and the touch pad mouse and accessory mouse wouldn’t work - told me how to fix it over the phone. These guys are simply the best. Not only do they appreciate you as a customer, they also care about you as a person. I am not very computer savvy and I really appreciate the time they take explaining things to me until I have a level of understanding that puts me at ease. Their honesty is awesome. If they think the requested service is not worth the monetary investment, they will tell you; give you options and if they cant meet the need, suggestions of where to start. I have referred friends, family and business associates to them and no one has ever shared any other than a satisfactory experience with them.

Had a black screen issue, OS was dead and needed a reinstall, it was a quick repair, with some extra help (rewire, video card moved, and memory correctly installed) In all, amazing! Best place to go!

I thought I knew a thing or two about computers, but when my computer wouldnt start up one day I realized just how little I know. I brought it over to APV Electronics but I wasnt hopeful that anything could be done. I was wrong. They worked their magic and now I have my computer back running better than ever, and for a very reasonable price that was a fraction of what it would have cost me to buy a brand new computer.

My asus notebook wouldnt charge...eventually Jeff had to replace the motherboard, because the charging circuit was fried; it took some time, this is very complicated, and soldering was involved.excellent job, and reasonably priced!

Do not take any Apple products here, they are not qualified to repair them and when they attempt to they will charge extra for their own mistakes. Service time and price both different then advertised. Apple products will come back with a defaulted warranty and not fully repaird.

I called APV electronics at 4:30 pm on wednesday, May 9, 2018 and spoke to Jeff concerning a laptop Wi-fi button problem and he said come on over and I did. At 5:30 pm I was home with the problem corrected and a well spent 30 minutes getting my computer repaired and having a pleasant conversation with a very knowledgeable person. Thanks APV and Jeff!
