This place has some of the best Orange juice anyone can buy. It can get a bit pricey, but honestly you will not regret it. They also have a great selection of different plants. I bought my passion fruit plant from here a few years ago, and has taken over my back yard. Most of my plants come from the farm store. They have a great selection of different products that you just cant find anywhere else. If youve never been here before I really recommend you try to shop here atleast once. Youll find yourself getting things youve never even heard of.
Nice time Cal poly pumpkin patch was awesome cornfields really awesome sunflower fields were nice good time there.
First off let me start off by saying I love this place I went there looking for tomato plants to grow they have well over 50 different varieties of tomatoes so go check them out theyre GREAT. Extremely helpful very knowledgeable. The young lady that was helping me didnt have the knowledge so she made a phone call to get the knowledge. Now Im just waiting on the peppers to come in. Do yourself a favor to Check them out.
First and foremost I truly enjoy coming to the store. As you can see in the pictures below the selection of tomatoes was phenomenal I walked away with some tomato plants that I have been looking for. Now I wait for the chili plants. Do yourself a favor and go check them out. PeacePS the lady at the cash register could not answer a question for me so she made a phone call and got the answers for me thank you sweetheart I truly appreciate it.
The seedless orange watermelon was great. Super Bloom Honey was good too.The young lady who rang us up was polite and helpful. We got there as they were closing. Cant wait to go back and explore the plant section.
I never would have known this if it were not for my friend who came here for a Photoshoot of the sunflower. As an alumni of Calpoly, I am glad that I shopped here to support the students. This store stocks a lot of fresh produces from the farms at Calpoly. I bought some fresh sweet corns here with this trip. The store also sells plants as well. They do have quite bit of selections. Next time, I will spend more time to explore their products. The area where the farm store is located is across from the campus. It’s surrounded by hills and farms. Beside the store, there is a nice sunflower farm here which is perfect for photoshoot. My wife and I came to take picture of the sunflower and the surroundings. This is the season to enjoy the blooming of the sunflowers. Next to the store is a vineyard. I felt like I was in Napa valley. I was really surprised with all the things to see here.
During spring tomato season, the Farm Store is the best place to buy 🍅 plants in Southern California. Today we lost count of how many varieties they had for sale, but our estimate was at least 50+. Also, buy a bag or two of their Golden Caramel Corn Nuggets, which are better known as Cal Poly Crack by the students. Try your best not to finish an entire bag of it on the drive home, its that addictive.
Store was busy good for the school has lits if goodies cashier very helpful
Mask are required upon entry. The place is cute little farm store that helps the students at Cal Poly. Prices are affordable and of good quality. Fruits and plants are grown on site. Other products are brought to the store that are sold as well.
TONS of tomato 🍅 plants to choose from, beautiful seedling trays offering 15+ veggies and herbs for
As always a wonderful place to go. Great vegetables and beautiful plants for my garden. Very nice, knowledgeable, and friendly staff.
Fresh produce, freshly squeezed orange juice among other market items.
I drive here from San Diego, that’s how worthwhile it is to visit. 150+ tomato varieties this Spring, and soon the peppers will be out. It’s hard to beat CPP Nursery’s prices and quality for plants. The Farm Store is full of interesting groceries that are hard to find at regular stores.
The farm store is full of fresh, local produce and goods. Every time I visit, I am pleased with what I find and leave with excellent items. I highly recommend taking the time to go out of your way to come to the Farm Store.
We come here about twice a month. They have a variety of seasonal plants, trees of all all sorts for sale. Their little store is pretty cool too They usually have super fresh produce and a fridge full of drinks. And becareful with the snacks they sell! They have a bunch of cool stuff to snack on. Also a cool spot to get a little gift for someone. Oh yeah and their fresh squeezed orange juice is the s**t!
Loved it here! Will be asking my son to pick up stuff after class LOL 😊
Good selection of school grown fruits and vegetables. Fun to browse to see whats new!
I ordered two dragon fruits from cal poly pomona nursery american beauty, and purple haze. On top of that, they put an extra bonus dragon fruit zamorano dragon with a thank you written on the popsicle stick. That is a great touch for me to buy more from this nursery. I ordered my dragons on september 13 and arrived today on the 16th with quick shipping. I opened up the package and it was packed well and very healthy looking dragons. I will order bargain from cal poly nursery next spring!
Love this store! Fresh produce is the best.
Great people work here, vegetables all fresh.
It was very sad. Nothing was open until 3, we arrived to early
Country fresh farm store, enormous variety of tomato plants, friendly staff, best pressed orange juice in LA.
Very beautiful and relaxing place! People are so friendly! The dragon fruit plant AX they sell is a very cool variety that comes with a Red flower and Pink fruit and $7.99 only. The vegetable Purple bell pepper $1.29 /lb is so beautiful and surprised me! I had a wonderful time here! definitely will come back again!
Very cozy and descent prices. Definitely will be back
They have a great selection of fruit trees/plants and other plants, good produce at reasonable prices, an assortment of gift items (mostly foods), local honey, etc.Nice university students staffing the store, and connections to the Cal Poly agriculture programs make it even more enjoyable to shop here. Btw, you can also do some bird watching from the parking lot.
Amazing produce and what a fantastic nursery with so many different potted plants to choose from!!! Prices were unbelievable! A great afternoon getaway to get out of the house!
Love the Farm Store!!!!! The fresh squeezed orange juice is sooooooo addictive. I buy it every week. You can taste the difference. They have different types of watermelon. Today I bought red, yellow and orange seedless varieties. Last weeks were yummy! The corn, onions, tomatoes and grapefruit are fantastic. The majority of the produce sold is grown at Cal Poly. The Farm Store has much more than produce. They have a nice variety of kitchen gadgets, yummy goodies to eat and to drink, as well as some gift items. They are able to create custom gift baskets as well. Go support the college and eat healthy at the same time.
I really like this little store!
Was driving home when I exited the freeway to take a call (just being safe). Noticed the sign for the Farm Store and was pleasantly surprised! Fresh from the farm veggies and beautiful plants to add to the home garden. Fresh squeezed orange juice was like drinking a ray of sunshine! I will definitely be stopping by again very soon!
We love the farm store. Such great food and other items. Great place to put together gifts as well!
Not crowded. Fresh vegetables in season grown on site. single flow.
Love this hidden gem. Freshest veggies, just picked. And stuff for me to grow as well. Love supporting our local.
Love the farm store. I go there for seasonal fresh produce and specialty food items that regular super markets dont offer.
Fantastic produce & lots of delicious items to pick from. I look forward to coming back soon
I always make it a point to stop by if Im in the area. I love the orange juice, honey, and fresh seasonal vegetables. They have u-pick oranges, strawberries, pumpkins, etc when they are in season. Be sure to check their Facebook page for events and seasonal produce.
You will be hard-pressed to find a greater variety of tomato plants anywhere. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are over 100 varieties available, some of them extremely rare. Also, if you want a fruit tree, this is the place to go. Stop wasting your time with starts from the garden center at the local hardware store and get yourself over here ASAP!
A little expensive but really fun!
I have been going to Cal Poly Pomona Farm store for years. They have the local honey which is great to ease the symptoms of seasonal allergies.
So cute and I love the products that are made from natural ingredients. Very friendly too
Love this store. Most of the produce and products are from the Cal Poly University students and a few items not made on campus but is a great store.
O so good. Couldnt wait to come back and enjoy the goodies from the store
They have the best fresh squeezed orange juice!! Its a great store for some fresh honey as well
This place has a very nice selection of fresh produce grown on-site. The variety of plants to start and add to your garden is second to none.
It was fine. It was a grocery store.
Sooo yummy omg
Went for pickling cucumbers but was too early in the season, they will grow during the months of June - July.
Good service people are nice.
Friendly and helpful staff, great selection of fresh produce. Plus it is satisfying knowing youre supporting their program.
Just a fun and interesting place to go!
Our favorite place for vegetable starts and local produce
It is Pumpkin Season 🎃
I liked it, a little pricey.
Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Love the produce here. Several high end items but the fresh produce is always reasonably priced. Also love the special events during the year. Have been going since it was in a little industrial building on south campus. I appreciate how it continues to evolve. Great place to shop. Fun place for photo ops.
Fantastic pods Ronny
Husbands first time there. He felt like being in the country. Good size product and enjoyed pouring own honey.
On the pricier side, but great quality. The OJ is a no- brainer. A huge selection of pickled produci, relishes, and jams. The nursery products are wide ranging and reasonably priced.
This place is pretty cool they have alot of different things, my wife goes to buy plants and veggies and I just to see what is new
Great place for fresh produce & starter plants. Also a nice of vegan & healthy food choices.
If you live in L.A. County and are driving through Pomona, stop by and check it out.
Fresh grown strawberries and plants.
Friendly and informed staff. If youre here for the nursery, ask for the nursery staff if you need assistance.
Love this place for its low cost for products. Good selection for products and decent pricing. I had the best shopping experience at this place.
Fresh fruit and great variety of plants. Local honey, too.
Love coming here to enjoy the many treats grown fresh right here on the property. My fave, the fresh squeezed orange juice. Yum!
The wine is great, a lot of great gifts, produce is fresh, many beverages to choose from, and so many plants!
Awesome store. cpp has a pumpkin 🎃 patch festival mid October thats out of this world and a guaranteed fun time with children. I believe pumpkins are $5 each regardless of size, so its a fantastic deal. make sure to bring a radio flyer, wheel barrow, or something with wheels to cart your 🎃 pumpkin booty or you will need to take frequent brakes walking to the car and will limit the size of pumpkin you can comfortably afford. taking pictures here is phenomenal. great find.
Nice place to buy farm fresh produce and support Cal Poly, not to mention a beautiful area to walk your pooch.
Great stuff here and good service
We love this place. We just got an amazing yellow watermelon and a red one too. The yogurt pretzels are incredibly delicious. They also have amazing local honey and jam. Local bread from Old Town Baking Company in Rancho Cucamonga. The avocados and oranges are so good. You cant go wrong with anything here. Its like a farmers market that is open every day.
Very cool place to buy fruits, veggies, plants, honey and tons of other stuff!
It is a lovely place with a lot of goodies and fresh products.
New plants are always coming in with the season and all the plants are lush and healthy green. Not to mention the variety of each fruit or vegtable species that is carried here at the nursery helps me to keep capturing new flavors I enjoy. Clay pots in countless sizes and are well priced. Yeah thats not all they have to offer they have a great sandwich and it comes in a combo with ingredients fresh from theyre Garden and its under ten bucks.
Love the fresh produce, great plant selection, and it helps the agriculture department. 👍
Always a pleasure to shop for fresh grown Cal Poly produce. The Farm Store at Cal Poly Pomona is in a rural, serene setting yet right in the middle of town. Clerks are friendly and helpful, good eats abound. Ya gotta check it out.
Good place to go fresh veges.
This a wonderful little store. They got local fruit jams and syrups. Many varieties of spicy unique jams and jellies. Organic vegetables and fruits. I bought a butter leaf lettuce with the roots still in water for $1.29 ea. Strawberries to die for. You can also for a limited time pick your own. I got 3 baskets for 5 bucks. It has everything a student would need to make a healthy meal. There also is a picnic area and a petting zoo. Love the place.
Great place with a great selection of fresh produce. The staff and volunteers that work there are all really nice.
Tons of great stuff like fresh produce, olive oils, salsas, salad dressing, syrups, gifts. The student workers are helpful and professional. Tons of pumpkins to choose from in the fall and a harvest festival! Definitely check it out, the rolling hills are beautiful, its a breath of fresh air that helps you forget how close you are to LA.
This place sells Fruit trees! Just love its tranquility. We normally get fresh in season produces there; we just bought the freshest white corns, 4 for a dollar. What a deal!
Soo sad we werent able to pick out our pumpkins this year. But thankfully they had curbside pick up and still made it possible. Will continue to come here every year. 🎃
