After meeting with two other builders we decided that we were going with Steve as we realized he given us a quote back in 2017. I had a good feeling that since I had him come a second time they must be a good company. He came over and we went over the measurements and placement in the yard!! Needless to say, we are ecstatic with the outcome. The attention to detail that Sergio and his team have is impeccable and the cleanup afterwords was incredible. We could not be happier with the design and quality. They were on time and finished the project as scheduled for one day. We went with a 12×16 tiki design as it fit perfect into the area we knew we wanted to utilize foe a tiki hut. Its absolutely beautiful and Everybody has asked when the next party is!!

We called Big Kahuna on a Tuesday, Steve was out to give us an estimate the same day and the tiki was installed on Friday! We are very happy with our purchase and the customer service we received! Since they have installed it I have made it into a bar!

They came out and replaced the thatch on my tiki roof. The roof has some minor leaks but I am told that once the thatch settles the leaks will cease. The roof looks beautiful! My tiki is a large 30 by 30 hut so it took them 2 days to complete the job but after the first day they failed to cover my pool table or mounted speakers and it rained all night. I bought a tarp and covered the pool table myself or it would have been soaked. My speakers all dont work anymore but I was going to replace them anyway so my annoyance is minimal there. They also broke a stole and the tap on my kegerator. I am giving them 3 stars because they were $1500 cheaper than any other quote and the roof itself looks terrific.

Had two Tiki Huts built five years ago and just had them both re-thatched. Good job both times and we would use them again. In and out in 7 hours. Steve responded to my calls and emails. They can be attacked by bugs so we knew we had to have them treated.

Crew came in and in a few hours built a beautiful tiki hut. We love it.

Wow, how disappointing!! I hired Big Kahuna to re-thatch our tiki hut back in 2015. Even then, once it was completed I contacted them because the fronds were extremely loose and creating gaps in the roof. It was a very poor job to begin with. I sent them pictures of the roof and was told that they had completed it correctly. I have already had some experience with these roofs so I knew it was a poor job. In September of 2017, I contacted them again because those gaps were really getting big and rain was coming in. They supposedly give a 5 year guarantee...I have yet to hear back from them. Ive basically given up and will absolutely NEVER use them or recommend them again! Buyer beware!!Oh, and by the way, the thatching they used was completely full of bugs. I had even sprayed the thatch to no avail, too many bugs. Dont do it!

Did a full rethatch on my tiki, gave a warranty and now it leaks only 4 months later and he is none responsive to come and fix it. I called and texted- he said he would come out and never did, followed up with him twice - nothing. Ripoff

I am giving them one star because no stars is not an option. They installed my Tiki Hut a couple years ago and about six months after they completed the work I realized that the thatching they installed was loaded with beetles that eat away the thatching and eat into the posts. Called them for repairs and the salesman usually doesnt show up when he makes the appointment so it took several appointments to get him out there when he finally came out he told me for the first time that we should have gotten the thatching treated by pest control company to prevent The Beatles!!!! I paid them to rethatch the tiki hut. Then about 6 months ago I realized that the cypress posts they installed were all rotted away below the ground. I called them several times. The salesman finally came out after several missed appointments and told me that the poles just rot and theres nothing they can do about it even though when I purchased the hut from them the same salesman assured me that they were using Cypress logs that didnt rot and didnt get any bugs. In any event ultimately paid a different tiki hut company to come out and replace the polls that were rotted. I regret that I referred many people to Big Kahuna. I will not be doing that going forward Ive learned my lesson and I dont want my friends to have the same experience as I did.

These guys did a great job of building our tiki hut, however, they fell short when it came to thatching. The thatching was very uneven and unattractive. I think because we were the 2nd thatching job of the day, we received the left over palm fronds which were different lengths, and, of course, the worst part was right at the very front entrance of the hut. My requests to them for correction went unanswered. They pretty much got their money and split. Too bad, the company was let down by their thatchers.

Amazing work and great communication the whole way from the consultation til my tiki was rethatched to perfection.

They replaced my tiki hut roof and 2 posts had to come back twice to get it done correctly 3yrs later roof is still not right called the sale man Steve and like the beginning he set up date an time but never shows up and dont call me back (I Would Not Recommend them ) shop around get references

Good drink deals but they are racist. Every single time i go they are playing african american music and then we fill the place and they play techno or something for us to leave
