Dean (owner) and his staff are very skilled & knowledgeable. My family and I have been going to twin lakes garage for many many years, there isn’t a job to small or to big that they can’t perform. Pricing is very fair for the work they do. The only reason why I continue to go to twin lakes garage is that not only they execute the problem but they treat you like family even if your meeting the first time.
Dean and his staff are great! Dean is the best car mechanic thats ever worked on my cars. Also the nicest guy youll meet, and more honest than any mechanic youll see in a lifetime!!I recommend always taking your car to Twin Lakes Garage. Ive brought my cars there since 2004....
I had a great experience with Twin Lakes Garage. After 2 less-than stellar experiences with other garages, I was thrilled to find Twin Lakes. Responsive, respectful, transparent, good communicator, good advice... I will be back. Thank you!
Staff is very nice. They let me use the bathroom when I was desperate even though I wasnt a customer.
Dean is the nicest owner and exceptional mechanic. My family and I have known him for decades. Never had a bad experience here. He’s an honest hard worker and so are his employees. We can’t recommend his services enough to our family and friends!
Very nice people, never any issues. Free air.
Dean and his employees are the best. Their pricing is fair, and very knowledgeable mechanics highly recommend it
Great local garage with very helpful mechanics. I drove in with a tire that had a very slow leak. They took care of me immediately, without an appointment, and I was on my way.
Good people who do honest work, super trustworthy and very to the point. Good for gas and mechanical work
Never a problem. Theyre knowledgeable and excellent mechanics.
Dean runs an excellent garage. Honest and technically proficient. Highly recommend you get your car some TLG!
We are so happy to have found Dean and his staff. They are wonderful, honest, and give great service. They will help you with any problem, give you all the solutions up front, and work with you to make sure you are safe and driving as soon as possible. We go to them for everything and would recommend them to everyone. Just an all around great business!
It is hard to find a good repair shop but this one is.
Although very friendly, I havent had a very positive experience going to these guys for auto work. First off, their prices are kind of expensive. They charged $60 for an oil change, and had the nerve to charge another $20 for a tire rotation; a service that is pretty much free with an oil change anywhere else you go.My second complaint, is that I seem to be noticing a pattern. Maybe its just a coincidence, but Ive taken two different vehicles here to be fixed and problems just compounded. The first was my truck that was running a little under the weather, they said it needed new engine coils, so I had them do the work, and only a week or two later the engine basically blows up. Granted it was an old truck, so its very possible it had underlying problems.Second was my car I took there for routine maintenance. When I picked the car up they told me my brake pads were getting really bad. Which I already knew, but the fishy thing was that when I drove off my brakes started squeaking all to hell. And they were not making any noise like that when I had dropped it off just a few hours prior. So, that was a little odd. They came highly recommended. A lot of my friends go there and say they are good honest mechanics, which are hard to find. I could just be unlucky.
The owner, and other mechanics in this garage are excellant. They are highly knowledgeable about every vehicle my friends, family and I have brought in. Their prices are definitely reasonable, and turn around time is excellant, depending on the repair of course example a engine replacement is not a one day job. They back there products and work. I go there every time I have a problem from tires, to transmissions. I would highly recommend them as your mechanic and service center.
A gas station is a gas station, right? I like this place because the service is good, the price is fine and they have such American pride!! Go USA!!!!
Dean and his team are courteous and on top of their game at all times.
Honest, and thorough. Love them!!!
Dean is as fair and honest as you can get
Twin Lakes for a brake job. The price was fair, however the work was horrible. They charge me double for parts that I couldve gotten from Amazon (EBC pads & generic rotors). After the brake job, the pedal feel was extremely soft. I was able to push the pedal to the ground without activating ABS!Dean (sales rep???) is a talker. He made me feel so comfortable when I went in for the estimate. However, his attitude changed completely when I had issues. He claims that Lexus requires a special tool to bleed the brakes. And that alone would be an additional $200 for labor. Because he didnt have the proper equipment, he wasnt able to properly bleed the master cylinder (which is attached to the ABS unit) correctly. Well, he shouldve called me with that information before attempting to do a half-ass job.I did not feel safe driving the vehicle afterwards. The pedal just sinks to the ground if I ever have to stop short. Theres just too much air in the system.I had to go to another shop to bleed the system properly for $75.00. The brakes feel great now. But I still have issues. The garbage autozone type rotors he ordered for my vehicle (which he charged me double), is starting to rust already. Rusty rotors that are 1.5 months old?!?! I wouldve gladly paid more for better rotors....heck,for the $$$ they charged me for the parts, I couldve purchased slotted and/or cross drilled rotors on my own. I was just too lazy and was short on time.My lug nuts were also not torque to spec. They were so hard to get off. I think 85lbs/ft is the proper torque. But Im pretty sure they had their air ratchet set to well over 120ft lbs.My wheels arent oem. I had put on hub centric rings. When I took my wheels off 2 rings were missing...making the wheels lug centric now. There are many shops around Hamburg Turnpike that would do the job the correct way. I would not trust Dean and his crew with an important job like brakes again. Live and learn I guess. But never again.Another thing that needed to be corrected that the other shop did for 30 minutes worth of labor....the parking brake wasnt able to hold the car on an incline. Was working perfectly fine before Twin Lakes worked on my vehicle.Incompetent is the best word I can think of to describe the shop. Stay away!
Really good people
Dean and team are awesome!
Professional, knowledgeable, and honest.
